Our new to us 2021 Jayco Eagle

We just traded in our camper and once again had a wonderful experience with the St. Augustine Blue Compass Team. Merec McNeill has helped us in the past and helped us once again! When Merec wasn't available, salesman Sean covered for him and was also very helpful when we were interested in a camper at one of their other dealership locations. The manager Jarrett was very professional and kind too. I recommend this team to anyone looking for a new or used camper!

The St Augustine store basically took advantage of us. Sold us a RV that was completely rusted. Unfortunately I had surgery before the final inspection and the didn't address the situation to my wife. They is no way that this camper would pass any dot . Thanks for taking advantage of us , how is this even legal ?

On 11/8/23, I bought a used travel trailer at Blue Compass in Lexington, South Carolina, my first camper. A month after buying it, when I was installing a brake controller, I discovered that the brakes don't work because the cable connecting the camper brakes to the wiring harness has been cut and carefully wrapped around a part of the trailer frame under the camper. I contacted Blue Compass and left four messages over the course of a week before my call was returned. The sales manager and service manager, neither of whom were present at the time of the sale, said that a camper would never leave the lot with a brake wire cut, so it happened after it left and offered these explanations for how this cut happened: (1) While I was driving from the dealer to my house something cut the wire and it wrapped itself around the frame. (2) Someone climbed the 6' privacy fence and locked gates in my backyard, crawled under the camper and vandalized it by cutting the wire and carefully wrapping it around the trailer frame. After I apologized for sounding frustrated (imagine that) the sales manager finally admitted that those stories were too ridiculous to take seriously and agreed to repair the camper but would not agree to do this at no cost (he said, "We'll take care of you"), despite the insistence that a 150 Point Checklist was completed guaranteeing at the camper was free of mechanical problems. I was never shown the checklist. I agreed to do this, but told the sales manager that I had learned that it is illegal to pull a 3000#+ camper without brakes in South Carolina, and I would be liable if there was an accident. He transferred me to the service manager to arrange a tow vehicle to bring it there. The service manager said that she would not do this because she did not want to assume the liability but if I wanted to take the risk I was welcome to do it. I told her this was the sales manager's idea, and I would need her to transfer me back to him to see where we went from there. She said he was now at lunch and he would call me back. He did not call back. I'm done with this place, and have found a local mechanic who will repair the brakes. My advice: DO NOT BUY FROM BLUE COMPASS.

We did a quick walk thru with a technician and found various issues. No appliances run for us. Upon delivery the unit was filthy and dark streaked whereas was promised to be washed. Inside also dirty. We paid to have it washed. We put out the slideouts and found electric outlets still not working, crooked barn doors, and other issues found at walk thru. We turned in THE A/C at thermostat and it did not come in. Called CWN.Jax and was told by the "service manager" he heard it run. Called Coleman/Mach the AC manufacturer and thru video link after removing bottom cover a tech said it could not have worked it was missing a harness. We called CWN.Jax and they sent a tech. He wired in a harness and the AC came on...we left and came back unit was 66° inside set at 74°. Called CWN.Jax and a tech came out, asked to borrow a screwdriver & flashlight . Said he was returning to CWN.Jax with his diagnosis. We called next day and could never get the service manager again. Asked should we get a lawyer (brand new camper) and CWNJ ax refused to talk to us after that and other repairs never fixed. Thankfully I contacted Forest River who sent a tech who determined the brand new thermostat was NOT brand new. We still have missing items and issues but are working with Forest River since Camping World N.Jax abandoned us after paying cash. They could not comprehend our unpleasant demeanor after receiving it in this condition We love the Foresr River Salem Cruise Lite 22veranda just highly disappointed in such an expensive purchase customer service.

I told him nicely that I don't want to give my information, we just want to look. He said for "liability purposes" we couldn't walk around their property without signing in (which is legally a complete lie as a public place of business). I replied, "No problem, we can just shop elsewhere". He said "Okay, no problem". As I walked out the door I said I looked forward to spending my money somewhere else. He said "Great!" This place would much rather have your personal info to badger you or sell to a 3rd party than make a sale. This review is long overdue…read more Last July, I bought a Coachmen Nova 20C from Sunshine State RVs. I live in California, so buying an RV from a dealer across the country was a pretty big decision. Before buying, I spent months researching Class B vans. During that time, I found Sunshine State RVs' YouTube channel, and honestly, it became one of my favorite resources. Their videos are informative, well-produced, and show the RVs in a way that really helped me narrow down what I wanted. Those videos played a big part in my decision to buy the Nova 20C. Once I knew which model I wanted, I started shopping around for the best price. After comparing dealers, pricing, and reviews, Sunshine State RVs came out on top. I worked with Austin throughout the buying process, and he was great. He answered every question I had, worked with me on pricing and financing, and never made me feel pressured. Buying my first RV was a little intimidating, but he made the whole process easy. I decided to fly to Florida instead of having the RV shipped because I wanted the in-person walkthrough. Sunshine State RVs even picked my daughters and me up at the airport and brought us to the dealership. When we arrived, the owner, Nick, came over to introduce himself. He immediately let me know about a cosmetic issue that had happened during transport from the Coachmen factory. A tire had been placed inside the RV during shipping and left a stain on part of the flooring. They had already tried everything they could to remove it, but it wouldn't come out completely. What impressed me was that nobody tried to hide it. Nick explained exactly what happened, apologized, and gave me a few options. Everything else on the RV was exactly as expected. Then Corey patiently walked me through every part of the coach. After watching so many of their YouTube videos, I was looking forward to the walkthrough, and it didn't disappoint. He explained everything clearly and answered every question I had. Even after I got home to California, I reached out to him a few times when I couldn't figure something out, and he always got back to me quickly. That kind of support after the sale means a lot. The paperwork and financing were straightforward, and afterward my daughters and I spent a couple of days at a nearby RV park learning the RV before driving it all the way back to California. I thought that was the end of the story, but it wasn't. Sunshine State RVs contacted Coachmen about the flooring issue, and not long after, I received a phone call from Nick, the General Manager of Coachmen Class B. He apologized for what happened and told me they wanted to make it right. Their solution honestly surprised me. They arranged to have my RV picked up from my home in California, transported back to the factory in Indiana, the entire floor replaced, and then shipped back to me. They worked around my schedule and handled everything. Special thanks to Paul at Coachmen for coordinating all the logistics. When I got the RV back, the floor looked brand new. You'd never know there had ever been an issue. I've owned the RV for about a year now, and looking back, I'm just as happy with my decision as I was the day I bought it. Sunshine State RVs earned my business with their pricing, but they earned my respect with their customer service. Austin, Corey, Nick, and everyone else I interacted with treated me incredibly well. Coachmen (Nick and Paul) also deserves a lot of credit for standing behind their product and making things right. Buying an RV is a major purchase, and it's nice knowing there are still companies that genuinely care about their customers after the paperwork is signed. If you're considering buying from Sunshine State RVs, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

All the YouTube videos are lies, promises, nothing Nick says is actually true! These people are scammers! And don't expect a call back, they call back 1 time out of 10 calls. We were taken by Nick and his fake acting role on selling these broken Vans. Nick Schmidt is the general manager and he obviously has no control or knows how to run this business! Missing items inside the Van, scraped and rusted hitch with smashed plug, unusable, I'm guessing from transport. We let them know with no return call or resolve to how we received it. And what really pissed us off is we ordered a roof rack and they didn't install it and blamed the factory as well as we ordered and paid for a generation 3 Starlink and we got a generation 2!! Don't buy a van from them, you will regret it!!
