Like the higher amount to possibly win. It would be a 5 star if it wasn't SO COLD all the time.

This is my favorite place to play bingo in the East Bay (I haven't ventured anywhere outside of the…read moreEast Bay yet). I've been playing for a little over a year. The bingo part is of course fun, but what really made me fall in love with BD in Concord is the staff. From my first few times when I had no idea what I was doing or how anything worked, they were always so helpful and supportive. It is what has kept me coming back to this and kept me connected. The site itself is very nice. Comfy chairs, decent table space. It tends to be cold, so definitely bring a jacket. I know it sounds lame, but I enjoy the Subway there. I love being able to get a soup and sandwich (and the subway staff are super friendly as well). As for the Bingo, each day/night have different programs. I prefer strip games, and like their quickie or paper specials. The 6-ons aren't my favorite, but I'll play them when they have them. Wednesday and Saturday nights are what I consider their high roller nights. Strips usually pay out at least $2000 and they generally only play flash games that are $1000 or higher. Those nights can sometimes be a little overwhelming with the amount of people. I tend to stick with Sunday Matinee or Thursday or Friday nights. I like their special Mondays, which it sounds like they plan to do moving forward in 2026 so that's exciting. If you're looking for a chill Bingo session, or a fun activity to do with your friends, this is the place! PS: I came here for their New Year's Eve Special. I had an awesome time, but one if you don't like balloons (like me), this might not be the best time to come here.

Alright peeps let's see who is in the chopping block today!!!!…read more Alright BD Bingo hall come on down!!!! Alright peeps so today we decided to try bingo all by ourselves and yes it was so scary. It started at 6pm but place opens at 4 for those that have a big party coming with them is best to come early to grab a table. So the front of the building was super clean besides sharing parking with the church next door so much parking spaces. We got inside and it was not that packed so it was nice for someone like us since we don't do so good with big crowds but is all good because we came and we played and still are playing. The people saying the numbers and letters are loud and very clear they explain the rules before dropping a ball. There are other workers walking around asking people if they want to buy more bingos usually people grab the $1 ones because sometimes it's an instant win or it gives you bingo numbers which is always good. My favorite is American heroes since it pays 2,500 that's the last bingo card of the night so everyone grabs a card. Overall this place is a must come and play for those that don't really like going out to bars or clubs this is a good place to go. Now for the moment of truth is this place Dendinger approved??? YESSSS SIRRRRR THIS PLACE IS DEFINITELY DENDINGER APPROVED WE WILL DEFINITELY BE COMING BACK AGAIN!!! Call us lady bingos because we are hooked to this place.

Close parking can be tricky since it's located on the small wing of the Marina Shopping Center. So when you plan on visiting for an event don't be surprised if you need to take a double turn around for a spot. There are two entrances, the main entrance into the bar and second entrance into the banquette hall. The bathrooms are only located in the back of the bar so if you have little kids, make sure they choose the best of two options in that area, either the karaoke singer or the bar fly. Senior citizens are the majority of this "Fraternal Order" although a few of the older gentlemen have tried to invite me into their sister league (lol, I thought that was sweet! However I politely declined with the upmost respect). They were all friendly and was very sociable about their past histories and easily opened up about their life stories. The bar is cash only and the prices are relatively cheap. All the workers here are friendly and are more concerned about you having a good time (especially making sure you sign up for the karaoke list!). The place is defiantly aged but I think that's what keeps this small crowd together. I kept hearing the regulars talking about building that place from the bottom up - they definitely take pride in their contribution towards this allegiance. By the way, their karaoke song book has a ton of oldie songs. Most of the songs are twenty years my senior.

The group mostly consists of a senior crowd that gets together on a regular business, always trying to raise money to help out the community. The people there are very friendly and they get to know your name pretty fast. I go there every once in a while to have a charity breakfast/dinner with my dad. All the people that work there are volunteers and I appreciate very much all the work they put into their job. They have a bar, which is where most of the people hang out and sing karaoke. There is also a separate room where they handle their club business/eating area, and bingo on some nights. If you are looking to rent the large room it will only cost you about $250. This place is a pretty good place for the older crowd to make friends, something to do, and help raise money for the community. I only wish they had a better source of income so that they may get an upgrade to the interior.

The buy-in prices are very reasonable, and the payouts can be excellent when attendance is good. The manager is consistently fair, helpful, and genuinely accommodating, contributing to the hall's warm and welcoming atmosphere. I was in attendance last Sunday, in regards to the bad review. The caller was not complaining -- she simply informed us that she would be the only caller that night and might need occasional breaks. The discussion about buy-in receipts was quiet and handled calmly. From what I observed, the player who left chose to do so; another patron even encouraged them to stay for the Bonanza game. To ask that Vetrans and or Military not support this establishment, is insane. They are very supportive of Military personnel. Overall, it remains an enjoyable and friendly place to play bingo. It was nice to feel welcomed and not a burden to the people that were working in the room. The other people who were paying customers were also very kind and patient and answering questions. They gave out red envelopes to every person in attendance and also Mardi Gras beads and a mask. It was very thoughtful. There are different deals on different days so I highly recommend looking at the website prior to going. You can also call before you go if you have any questions. They have kind of like a players card that you can use to gain points when you play so I suggest you sign up for that. I highly recommend going hungry when you go so that you can order from their snack bar. I recommend the tacos. They are everything that your dreams are made of. You will not be disappointed. The only reason why I give a four stars instead of five is because I've had no luck in winning because it is a very popular bingo hall and a full house every time.

Mom's Mother's Day gift was tickets to see Filipina vocalist Morissette Amon's June 13th sold-out one night only performance of her Ember Tour. From the event description: Morissette is a Filipino singer and songwriter nicknamed in the press "Asia's Phoenix". She gained notice as a runner-up in TV5's Star Factor at age 14 and made her theatrical debut in 2012 as Mitchie Torres in Repertory Philippines' adaptation of Disney's Camp Rock. She received wider notice as a semi-finalist in the first season of ABS-CBN's The Voice of the Philippines in 2013. In 2015, Morissette released her self-titled debut album. It was certified Platinum by the Philippine Association of the Record Industry. The accolades for Morissette's music and performances have included two Awit Awards, an Aliw Award, six PMPC Star Awards for Music, and 38 Wish 107.5 Music Awards, the most such awards of any artist. With ticket purchase, they did provide an optional promo code for 15% off a room reservation valid only for the night of the event if you were interested in staying over. Tickets were non-refundable and managed through an Etix account. Delivery of tickets wasn't available until 5 days before the event, and could be printed or added to phone's digital wallets. From the parking garage elevator, you did have to walk through the gaming area and past the eateries to get to the Event Center. Outside the security checkpoint, the closest restroom that I saw/used only had 2 stalls. Once you get past the security, then the Event Center and ballrooms have their own bathrooms. Ushers were good showing you to your section/row/seats. These were metal cushioned interlocking chairs, no armrests, seat number labeled on top. We were in SEC 5, Row BB, Seats 61 and 62. This wasn't bad at all to see the stage, plus they had the big screens on either side too, although unless you're in a group, unfortunately you can't choose your neighbors. 2-hour show, no intermission, one artist outfit change, acoustics were alright, special effects and lighting were cool. As I mentioned before, policy says no photography or recording but even though we got there when doors opened at 7pm, there was no general announcement/reminder before the show actually started. So, for the opening Tagalog song, many, many folks were recording video. The ushers and security swooped in, pointing and making big "X's" with their arms to get people to stop. At one point, security escorted Morissette down/through the audience aisles during a song and then fans were again taking photos and video and selfies as she passed by. I wish they would at least allow maybe the encore song or something, especially in this modern/social day and age, or a designated photo op. It was great to catch Morissette live for an unforgettable night of powerhouse vocals and pure emotion! She did maybe 4 English songs, a couple Bisaya songs, and the rest were Tagalog. Her 15 years in the industry were well-represented and songs ranged from romantic ballads like Akin Ka Na Lang and Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw to Secret Love Song, Defying Gravity, I'll Be There, and Rise Up. Jo Koy is also coming August 21-22, but those are also sold out!

While playing poker, I placed an order for food. After some time, a server walked by with food, and I tho its mine, so I asked if it was mine. He responded, "No it's not, when will be yours I will give to you," His tone came across with a bit of attitude, and I noticed he interacted similarly with other guests as well. Eventually, he brought my food. I paid with a $100 bill, and the total came out to $14, which I paid exactly--so I did not leave a tip. As the server walked away, I clearly heard him say something along the lines of "f***ing cheap," which was completely unprofessional and inappropriate.i I then tried to address the situation with management. I first spoke to another manager (an Asian gentleman), who dismissed the issue by saying it wasn't his department raising his shoulders and directed me to someone named Benny. When I spoke with Benny, his response was minimal--just "okay"--and he didn't seem to take any immediate action or show concern, waited for little bit no updates or looks, nothing happened here. To make matters worse, shortly after that interaction, I saw the same server walking around and making an offensive gesture (raising his middle finger behind his back in a way that I could see). That kind of behavior is unacceptable in any establishment, especially one that expects tips and repeat customers. Later, the general manager, Michael, came to speak with me. He stated that he could not force the employee to apologize and that they would conduct an investigation--but that was the extent of the resolution offered. Overall, this experience left a very negative impression. Between the poor service, inappropriate comments, lack of accountability, and weak response from management, I would strongly caution others about the level of customer service here. So watch out don't get offended, wait for attitudes and behaviors, from long time employees what take their work for granted, old times used to be better.
