Been here twice, once for a birthday and once as a family. We've only done the arcade and go karts…read moreand they're both super fun! One gripe I have is that I wish the workers were a bit more attentive. We went on Monday and there wasn't anyone at the front desk for maybe 10minutes. They didn't have us watch the safety/instructional video which normally plays on a loop at the front of the pit gate. We had two double karts because our kids are young and we were put in a race with multiple other adults. The employees in the pit were good, one was a young lady who seemed new and a young man who obviously had much more experience. I'm on the shorter side and he recognized I needed the pedals adjusted and a booster seat. He also rechecked all our belts because the girl didn't put them on tight enough. So during our race we had to go slowly for the first lap, but then it was on! Unfortunately, I had to go slow because my daughter is small and apprehensive about the whole experience. I'm sure we were a hindrance for the faster racers, but most were very respectful and drove around us. One person in particular (an older black man who uses the name "007 Speed") hit me into the barrier 3 times and hit my husband and son's kart at least twice. He hit us with such force both of my kids have been complaining of neck pain. I told the experienced male employee but no consequences for Mr. 007 Speed even though each time he hit us they overhead announced, "No hitting other drivers or barriers. Next time you will be out of the race." When the race was done Mr. 007 Speed never acknowledged what he did or apologized. As we were leaving we saw him complaining at the front desk. So overall, I really like this place. It's geared for children and families, but definitely for anyone who wants to have fun. It would be ideal if they grouped drivers separately like they do for junior racers. Group adult racers with ones who have children/want a chill experience and a group for retirees trying to relive their glory days

We had been wanting to visit for a while after seeing that they has the two level track and this place did not disappoint. As a matter of fact, it far exceeded our expectation. Racing on that track was fun as h...... Like, we really had a blast. I was super happy they didn't police the track too much. At least not while we were racing. Anyway, we raced a few games and then moved on to the next thing which was axe throwing. I want to tell you this was like $15 pp for 30 minutes and in that 30 minutes we learned A LOT. Axe throwing isn't as easy as we thought, but the instructor walked us through it and shared in our laughter and frustration of trying to figure it out. The miniature golf room was crazy. A lot of crazy characters (aliens, etc.) under a black light they it glows in there. I loved the holes though. Very creative. The wolf behind the wall scared me half to death, lol, but it was too fun being in there with my family. This place has great prices for the races ( we did 3 for $68) + a head cover ($5) per person. No membership required for basic races and I loved that. The staff was super friendly, all but one... but 1 out of 5 is good odds. We didn't get a chance to hit the arcade, but we'll be back. Thank you for a great experience and we definitely plan to return.

I cannot even count how many train museums we have visited. This past visit was for the Spring Wine Trains with my husband. Suggested to us by none other than our son. He now volunteers here!! YAY! We loved being in the parlor car- you get a charcuterie board and 3 tastings. The group was lively, the hosts were great. It was such a nice time and the weather was perfect that day. They explain the various wines (we had Caymus served to us) and you get a nice little tour of the land/area. We got to chat with our son who was the Operations Brakeman that day and what a treat...on the return ride back, we were offered the rear seats. It was the perfect way to end the ride. We took advantage that your ticket includes entrance to the museum, spring fair and the grounds. We walked around, checked out the trains, the fair and the gift shop. Parking is free and plenty of it is available.

I came here for the Holiday Lights train ride and light display…read more The train ride was not worth the money or time. The train had a string of lights strung around inside with a small speaker playing holiday music at the front of the train. There was nothing to look at during the 15-20 minute ride except some cows and a few wind turbines. The train basically went down the tracks 10 mins and then went back to station in the opposite direction. There were also many loud parents and uncontrolled kids on the train which did not make the experience enjoyable. The light display was okay. You got to see some cool old trains with holiday lights on them. But you could not enter any of the trains in the light display area. The lit up trains were simply a route to go see Santa. The Santa area was really dark which was not great for pictures. The staff promote a cafe with hot chocolate and cider after the train ride and light display. I got a spice cider for $6. It was not good. It was full of pulp and the spices were floating on top. It seemed like the staff did not stir up the cider before serving it. The museum and gift shop are really small and catered more towards kids. The gift shop had some adult clothes and souvenirs (magnets, small figures, etc.) but nothing extraordinary. Overall, I would not recommend this place for the Holiday Lights event. There are better holiday train rides and events in Old Town Sacramento.

I got used to arcade pricing at places like Disneyland, Great Wolf Lodge or other destination location arcades. The prices per game here make your money go a long way. Staff is always friendly and helpful. The variety of games is nice for kids and the claw games and prizes are enticing. Its not really an arcade for avid gamers, but it is awesome for families. I visited recently and was informed that they were closing. Im super bummed that they are closing. Hopefully its not permanent.

Note: They do offer regular ticket and non-ticket type games as well. We just didn't invest in them during this trip. Experience: My husband and I were really surprised about stumbling into this location while driving past the different stores available at the outlet. We had to stop by to not only check if there were claw machines, but if the prizes were good enough to invest in and we were surprised they were! We did the $100 deal that allowed us to get more bonus credit and a mystery prize, which ended up being an adorable Halloween Bulbasaur that had a pumpkin instead of his typical bulb on his back. My husband was having better luck then me in the machines, but I had fun regardless. What was cool about the claw machines was if you got 5 plushies from the same machine, you would be able to win the supreme size plush on top of the machine and no joke they were humongous! We didn't have too much luck in getting at least 5 plushies from one machine, but we did walk away with a handful of plushies, a small figure from a shooting game, and a bunch of cute little keychains. Definitely would want to try our luck in getting one of the supreme size plushies, but gotta make room at our apartment before than lolz

They offer picture taking around the holidays (by reservations ) and often will hand of cute treats for the kids, coloring pages, candy canes. Also during Halloween season it's another great time to come. Each year is something different and often they have a dj. My kids love this place and I see why. We make VnA Gingy house a must visit each and every year. Last year they had certain themed nights as well as holiday music and an ice cream truck. The owners really care about their community. Check them out on Facebook to keep up to date on their certain events. Oh and for the little ones who would like to drop off their letters to Santa, they have a lovely mailbox to send letters to the North Pole. I could go on and on about this place and how great it is. Definitely make this a place to check out during the holidays. Parking most times can be tough so keep that in mind, it's street parking. I'll have to come back and update my post to add some pictures after we visit again this year.
