Love this place. It is a special treat for my kids, who recently discovered the joy of arcades. It is clean, the machines are well maintained and all very reasonably priced. I got used to arcade pricing at places like Disneyland, Great Wolf Lodge or other destination location arcades. The prices per game here make your money go a long way. Staff is always friendly and helpful. The variety of games is nice for kids and the claw games and prizes are enticing. Its not really an arcade for avid gamers, but it is awesome for families. I visited recently and was informed that they were closing. Im super bummed that they are closing. Hopefully its not permanent. read more

Date of visit: October 10, 2024 Selection: We only played games that allowed us to win direct prizes, such as claw machines. Note: They do offer regular ticket and non-ticket type games as well. We just didn't invest in them during this trip. Experience: My husband and I were really surprised about stumbling into this location while driving past the different stores available at the outlet. We had to stop by to not only check if there were claw machines, but if the prizes were good enough to invest in and we were surprised they were! We did the $100 deal that allowed us to get more bonus credit and a mystery prize, which ended up being an adorable Halloween Bulbasaur that had a pumpkin instead of his typical bulb on his back. My husband was having better luck then me in the machines, but I had fun regardless. What was cool about the claw machines was if you got 5 plushies from the same machine, you would be able to win the supreme size plush on top of the machine and no joke they were humongous! We didn't have too much luck in getting at least 5 plushies from one machine, but we did walk away with a handful of plushies, a small figure from a shooting game, and a bunch of cute little keychains. Small but sweet! This arcade is packed with fun games and the prizes are actually good. They also have an incredible collection of FOUR dance games, including DDR A3, ITG, Pump It Up, and StepmaniaX! My family and I have been there a few times for the prize machines and they greatly enjoyed it. I personally go a few times every week for DDR and Taiko no Tatsujin. The staff are amazing. Everyone was very kind and helpful. The manager is one of the best managers a store could ask for. She's very nice and passionate about the store and you could tell she's really hoping the guests can have a great experience. I've never been there for parties, but I can tell you that both parents and kids are going to have a lot of fun. This place deserves 6 out of 5 stars. read more

What a great addition to the outlets for families! Great place to take a break if you're driving from SF to Tahoe/Sac etc. It's not super big but has lots of fun games and machines for the kids to play with. Great for all ages. It is new but everything was clean and well taken care of. The workers are SO friendly and accommodating. They look like they actually enjoy working there. The claw machine toys are good quality. The prizes for the tickets are okay as well. Haha. You can indeed trade in 5 small plushies for a ginormous one. But only to the coordinating plush. Makes sense haha. We chose to keep our small ones instead because honestly we had no space for that giant thing. Highly recommend to stop by if the kids are bored of shopping with you. Folks with younger kids in diapers, do note that the closest bathroom doesn't have a changing table! Wish we lived close enough to host a birthday party here! My partner surprised me and our daughter here to have some fun and also because there was a Dutch Bros nearby :) Fun Zone Arcade is located inside the Vacaville Premium Outlets, so there is plenty of parking, as well lots of stores to check out afterwards. When we entered the facility, there wasn't as much people yet since they opened not too long ago, however the facility is really clean and pretty much all of the arcade games were operating, and the employee greeted us when we walked in. There is a machine near the entrance where you can purchase a game card to use to play the games, as well as a box to drop off your used game card if you plan on not using it anymore. Once my partner purchased a game card, he and my daughter immediately went to go and play the claw machines to try to win some prizes. It is a tad bit challenging to win at the claw machines, but we were able to win some prizes at some of them :) The employee helped us out when we needed some assistance, and he was making sure that all machines were running smoothly, as well as answering any questions that other patrons had. If you don't want to play the claw machines, there are also other games that you can play for fun, such as the Taiko Drumming one that my daughter and I enjoyed playing, as well as a DDR machine that i played that brought back memories of me playing constantly with friends during my high school days :) By the time we were about to leave, the place was filled with many people, many of them families having lots of fun :) Overall, we did have fun here at the arcade :) super clean facility, friendly and helpful employee, and quite a bit of games. I recently decided to try arcades/ claw arcades from Vacaville all the way down to Milpitas to figure out which are the most fun in the area. Unfortunately Fun Zone Arcade missed the mark for me when it came to playing machines with prizes in them. Pros: * Had some interesting Japanese style prize machines * Unique prize dispensing machine for ticket redemption instead of your typical "prize zone" where someone is manning it to help you redeem tickets Cons: * VERY expensive - I chose the $20 option for 400 points. I only received 380 points on the card though (screen shot attached) - not sure if it's because it was a new card? Or maybe because I paid for it with credit card instead of cash? There may have been some fine print somewhere telling me why I only got 380 points, but there is so much verbiage on the signs/ kiosks trying to upsell me to get more points that it wasn't easy to find. I also couldn't find a staff member to help explain it to me either since they were in the back of the arcade and the kiosk is in the front. Each of the games I played cost 40 points which works out to be ~$2.10 a game which is VERY expensive per play compared to claw machine arcades I have visited in the Bay Area where each play is usually $1 without any promotions. I understand that points become cheaper as you pay/ buy more, but there weren't enough games I was interested in playing to buy a larger package * Did not win anything from the crane machines or other prize machines - if you're interested in claw machines in particular you're better off going to Cali Claw in Concord where they have excellent customer service and help give you tips to win or to Starbunni in Danville where they guarantee they will give you a plush if you're unable to win one from the machines * I went through the whole card in way less than ten minutes which made sense because $20 only equaled 9 plays * Extremely small space for an arcade/ not a lot of games, not a true destination in my opinion, but good if you happen to be in the area Overall the arcade left me disappointed with how expensive it was for the number of plays and lack of ability to win prizes. The claw machines were weak and did not grab the toys at all so I didn't even get the excitement of thinking that I was "so close" to winning a prize. Not sure how many tries it takes to hit payout on their claw machines, but at only 9 plays for $20 you have to be very lucky to happen to try the machine when it's ready to payout a prize. read more

We celebrated my son's 7th Birthday here over the weekend and it was amazing!! My son and his guests had the best time! Kiddos and kiddos at heart guests. The establishment is VERY CLEAN. Which is a big plus for momma bears like me. And they also have the BEST GAMES and BEST PRIZES to win. *nothing beats their cleanliness. We truly appreciate the amazing staff, MIKE and ISAAC for being such a great help starting from preparations and cleaning up and for being extra helpful with the kids when they're having some trouble with the games, etc. They did their rounds frequently and asking everyone if they needed some help and just being so patient while keeping the positive attitude. Went in on a Sunday afternoon! Fairly empty, and clean. Good vibes and very fun games! Me and my wife decided to try the Claw Machines, we were first greeted with the $1.00 fee for a plastic card. Ouch. Then looking around the claw machines they charge $2.00!!! Most claw machines are $1.00, $1.50! I chose the $20 option and was only able to play 9 times. One won only once. The games seem enjoyable but I wish it was more affordable! I was probably in-and out of the arcade within 15 minutes. I live in Santa Rosa so the I probably will never be back unless I have a reason to shop. Overall the experience of the arcade was pleasant and very nostalgic! I've gone here twice in the past month. It's located conveniently in the outlets (by Crocs). No bathrooms inside, but there is one right outside towards the police station. The place is well maintained. Both times we experienced friendly and great customer service! I wish I got the names of the people working at that time to give them recognition. My son loves the Pokémon claw machines and didn't leave empty handed. The place wasn't too crowded both times we went, which I love. We had so much fun here. On our drive back from Tahoe back to the Bay Area in May, we needed a rest stop. Of course my wife wanted to stop at the outlets but she discovered there was a new arcade there too. I surprised my son and we had the best time. There hasn't been an arcade this nice in our area since "never"! Located in the Nut Tree outlets. It has a fun and colorful atmosphere. Lots of variety of rhythm, dance, driving, redemption, and claw machines. The machines look new and well maintained, unlike Round 1 where everything is always broken or needs repair. It has a very friendly environment where everyone in the family can enjoy it. My favorite games to play are the driving and dance games. The dance games they have are very high quality and hard to find. The claw machines have cool prizes as well. I'd say this is the best arcade in our area by far. This arcade was awesome! They had a great variety of games. It was very clean. $60 got about 2.5-3hrs of play (Mind you he didn't play any claw games). The staff was amazing. Isaiah and Andrew, were the two staff members who were there. They were wiping down machines and maintaining the place but were also super helpful when games needed to be explained. Isaiah heard my son's game card unintentionally being scanned from inside his pocket, while playing a game, he offered a refund! Both were pleasant to talk to.
