The bolts were too short. Ian helped me find them and they were a bit thick when I tried to use them. Returned and I may have forgotten to mention they were Japanese. Ian got me the metric bolt with the proper length and they worked great. Ian was friendly and so helpful. My daughter picked up a ball and tossed it to her aunt. A crew member told her not to throw it, and she did it ONE MORE TIME. I have absolutely no problem with an employee reminding my child of a store rule. What I DO have a problem with is the employee's attitude and the way she spoke to my 8-year-old. She came back with a nasty, condescending "I TOLD you not to throw it" attitude -- as if she was my daughter's parent -- and then walked away and immediately started talking to another employee about us. Excuse me?! Why are you talking to customers like that, especially an 8-year-old child, and then talking about the situation to your coworker right in front of us? And let's remember where we were: FIVE BELOW. A STORE THAT SELLS TOYS AND CHILDREN'S PRODUCTS. Kids are literally going to be excited, touch things, play with things and act like KIDS. If the ball absolutely could not be thrown, fine. Tell us respectfully. I would have immediately told my daughter to stop. There was absolutely no reason for the employee to take such a nasty, authoritative tone with a child. When I addressed the employee about her attitude, instead of apologizing or simply saying, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean it that way," the employees became defensive and acted like I was the problem. At that point, I told them I wasn't buying anything. I then said I would be speaking with a manager, and their response was basically, "YUP, GO AHEAD," with the same dismissive attitude. That is NOT customer service. There is a HUGE difference between enforcing a store rule and being rude, condescending and confrontational. You don't get to speak to someone's child however you want simply because you're an employee. And you certainly don't get to talk about customers to your coworkers afterward and then become defensive when the parent calls you out on it. I left an entire basket of things I was going to purchase because of this interaction. I will gladly spend my money somewhere else. Management seriously needs to address how this location's employees are speaking to families because this was completely unnecessary and extremely unprofessional.

I walked into that reminded me of Ross. Don't get me wrong. The store was incredibly cleaned the employees very nice. However, the quality of the products they sold are pretty sub. Usually TJ Maxx is a smattering of nicer end clothes and then those license brands that fill the shelves. This store had the cheapest selection of clothing I've ever seen. In fact I'm a little bit of an overachiever in the shopping department and I've never left a TJ Maxx without buying a shirt or something else I was able to walk out of this store Sans any purchases Not sure what's up with this store, but they don't carry or don't appear to carry the normal collection of clothing items that most of the other TJ Maxx is manages. I was shopping totally out of my comfort zone, trying to find a gift for my boss, and Craig was AMAZING. He took his time walking me through different brands and quality levels, explained what made each one special, and helped me build a really solid variety pack that fit my budget. I told him I had no clue what my boss would prefer, and he made the whole process easy, zero pressure, and actually enjoyable. The shop itself is super clean, really easy to browse, and -- bonus -- they have a full cigar lounge attached if you want to hang out or bring someone who knows what they're doing. Whether you're buying a gift or treating yourself, this place is absolutely worth the drive. Definitely, definitely recommend.
