Summary: They did a great job for us. Our carpets hadn't been cleaned in quite a while (only vacuumed) and we were getting dust on everything even after vacuuming, so Blushing Bride and I asked a friend for a recommendation. We were told that Blue Earth did a good job, so we called and made an appointment for an estimator to come out and give us a quote. A very personable "Bill" came out, checked out the job, and gave us a very reasonable estimate, then set up an appointment to come out about a week later to do the job. When the appointment day came, "Bill" and his son "Stephen" were about an hour late, which bugged Blushing Bride a bit. But the work they did more than made up for the lateness. The carpets look about ten years newer, and are really clean. The dust problem we were experiencing is now gone, and the place smells good too. I don't know a lot about carpet cleaners, but from my experience, these guys seem to do a really good job for a reasonable price. I'd give them a shot if you want to clean up your place. I'm updating my review but all my original praise remains the same. I wanted Dimitri in to clean our carpets again because I was expecting out of town visitors (one of whom was a newly crawling toddler) and I didn't want to be embarrassed at the state of my carpets. Yes, in two years, my two kids have made my carpets disgusting once again. Yet, once again, Dimitri was a miracle worker and the carpets look as good as I'm sure they did when they were originally installed (probably sometime in the 80s). Tonight, my MIL remarked about how impressed she was by how clean the carpets have stayed. I am very pleased with my experience from Blue Earth Carpet Cleaning. We are renting and "inherited" not so clean carpets that have several stains, pet smells and filtration marks around the register vents After calling other companies (which I also researched reviews from Yelp and Yellow Pages), Blue Earth was the only one that voluntarily set up an in home estimate (at no cost) within a couple of days of making the inital call. Bill (owner) came to the house to inspect our carpets. He measured the rooms, counted the stairs and explained their cleaning process: focused on PH levels, source of stains and informed me of the strength of their hoses/cleaning solutions and gadgets. His upfront estimate provided an exact dollar amount (the other companies said their verbal estimate was just that: an estimate; it could change based upon actual room size, number of actual pet treatments, etc... After speaking with Bill, we set up a date for our carpet cleaning for just a few days later. Note: Blue Earth's price was more than I was quoted from the other companies. I figured once I roll up the prices for the "additional work", the prices would most likely be close... and since I liked Bills information/knowledge (40 years of cleaning), it was worth the investment. The morning of our cleaning, Bill arrived on time and with his son, Stephan. (Stephan was equally involved in the carpets... went right to work on the carpets while Bill battled with the pet stains). They finished in a couple of hours (I was not present during the cleaning) and locked up the house. Upon my return to the house after work, the house smelled clean. The carpet stains were gone and the pet smell was not as intense... (Bill recommended that they return in 6 months to re-treat the highly effected pet area... and in the same breath, he said he would just get the carpet replaced). Now--- if that isn't an honest guy! I highly recommend using Blue Earth Carpet Cleaning! The carpets feel softer, the house smells better and the dark black marks around the register vents are carpet colored again. The money you spend is more than the other companies, but you get your worth and there is value in that! read more

I had my carpets cleaned a few months ago which has made them WAY easier to vacuum. I would have thought you'd want your carpets cleaned a few times a year but it turns out you only need to do it every 12-18 months. Very cool. The cleaning process was pretty fast and the carpets were dry pretty quickly. I also have a cat and didn't have to worry about the products hurting her so that is a huge bonus.
