However, the Victorian Inn exceeded our expectations and our previous experiences, in every way! From the moment you walk in the door on day one, until you leave the Inn on the last day, Chris and Moe are very generous and gracious hosts. The Inn is charming, comfortable, clean, breakfasts are delicious, home made cookies in your suite, as well as, in the evening, Toby (the Inn's beautiful dog) is very inviting and loves attention, to contacting a local historian for our group to learn local and family history and the list goes on and on. However, our night was ruined because the hotel has installed flashing lights that are activated when someone smokes or vapes in their room. We did not smoke or vape, however the flashing lights were activated. I think it's a design flaw. If there is a real issue , for instance, there is a potential that a fire could start , these lights would be helpful, but they shouldn't stay on . It's very disturbing and affected our sleep. Upon checking with an employee , they admitted that that happens a lot but they honestly did not seem too concerned about it. Just a heads up for anyone who's planning a visit here. You may want to ensure that the flashing lights are not activated.

I recently stopped by a few weeks ago and was honestly excited to see the transformation. The place looks immaculate--from the parking lot to the inside. My review is mainly based on the casino and lobby areas, but both were really impressive. The space feels much more elevated and modern than it used to. The casino area had a DJ playing, which was a whole vibe, and there were plenty of machines. Overall, the place feels brighter, more welcoming, and updated compared to what it was before. I also loved the main entrance and the hotel lobby--it really makes a great first impression when you walk in. Overall, it was a great experience. I'm looking forward to coming back again and possibly staying overnight next time so I can check out the rooms too.
