I came here about 3 months after having my baby since my back was killing me. When she was putting the needles I told her that I could barely feel a difference. She set it was fine and she would step out and give it time. After 15-20 minutes I called for her and told her that it was not working. She took out the needles and started using the suction cups. However, she was rubbing instead of leaving them on. I wished she would have left them since that was definitely helping. I ended up leaving with my back feeling a little better but it really wasn't much of a difference. I guess others had a better experience than me. Won't be coming back. read more

I was in a motorcycle accident in 2006 that broke my femur. As a result, every once in a while, if I don't do Yoga. I get a pinched nerve in my lower back. Awful experience that left me feeling exhausted with a migraine. Roxy did not reflect back my goals for the session, and did not making me feel like I was being heard or understood. I was not checked up on at all after the needles were inserted. I was in pain and was just stuck there. When she finally came in to take out the needles, I told her that the needles had made me feel worse. She brushed this off. When I went to pay, she did not allow me to use Groupon, which I should have been eligible to use. Instead, she raised the raised the price from what I had paid before, stating it was because I had cancelled some previous appointment. I was not informed about any price change prior to this. Overall my experience was good. Found this place through Groupon and purchased two sessions. I've had acupuncture in the past and it was very effective, even after one session. So, several years later, I decided to try it again. The place was easy to find, and they have a decent sized parking lot. Unlike my previous acupuncture experiences, I was encouraged to come in several times in order for any results to start showing, and she also suggested some herbal pills, which I purchased. It was right between the holidays, and life got in the way of schedules, so I didn't make any additional appointments. Overall, my experience was positive. I started going here about a year ago. I saw how they helped my wife after her pregnancy. I figured I'd give it a try for my back pain, sinus, headaches, cough, etc depending on the week. It is hit or miss on if the procedure fixes the issue. It has helped fix me mostly, but occasionally won't do the trick. Obviously results are case by case. My goal was to be as healthy as possible during my pregnancy. After I got over my 1st trimester hurdle, I was committed to get acupuncture twice a month. So far, I feel amazing. It was my first time having acupuncture done and was a recommendation by a number of people for my shoulder. I was experiencing curious shoulder pain brought on by my restaurant job and had tried physical therapy and pain killers and nothing seemed to be working. She also went above and beyond and treated my recurring migraines as well and they were reduced for the next month and the ones I've gotten since have not been nearly as bad in intensity as they usually are. Roxy really knows her stuff and has a great bedside manner. She thoroughly explained what she was doing and why, which was great because this was the first time I have tried acupuncture. I broke my ankle and had to have surgery to repair it in December. The healing is going well, but now that I'm able to bear weight on it again, I've been experiencing a lot of pain on the days that I have to be on my feet all day. Roxy said she could help with the pain and stiffness in my ankle, and she did indeed! I was quite sore when I went in and immediately after the treatment the level of pain was reduced. As the day went on, it actually felt better and better, and when I woke up this morning I wasn't experiencing the stiffness that I have been waking up with every day. Great experience and excellent results. I searched for a local acupuncture place in hope to get help with my torn rotator cuff pain as a result of weigh lifting injury. It was my first acupuncture experience but I knew I had to try it since I was still in pain after a year of tradition medicine treatments. Being an active and healthy person, pain was a huge set back resulting in less physical activity and no sleep at night. I gained 15 lbs and couldn't move my left hand. I have a fractured spine from an accidental fall last year. None of the specialists (Neurosurgeon and Orthopedic Spine Surgeon) were able to help me with my lower back stiffness and pain, they only prescribed nerve and pain medication which did not work. A couple of friends suggested to try acupuncture which did not come to my mind as a solution. I have never been treated by acupuncture for anything in the past. A few weeks ago I had been complaining about some back and neck pain so a friend recommended I visit Blue Jean acupuncture.   I quickly found Blue Jean acupuncture's web site and was able to easily book an appointment to get started back on a treatment plan. It has been a few years since I had any acupuncture treatments however my current health plan covers a portion and I am in need of some relief. I was very happy when I arrived the office space is modern, clean, and easy to find.  I just needed to fill out a short history intake and was seen on time.   The therapist I saw was Roxy, she asked me several questions and we discussed my history and current conditions.  She got to work on the initial treatment for that visit and after that we set up a comprehensive pain management plan.  My first treatment was helpful and I will be going back and getting additional treatments over the next few weeks. read more
