I had a sports massage with Reyna. I used my classPass points to schedule this service and I am glad I did. Reyna was absolutely wonderful. When I asked her if it was possible to add cupping to the service she said yes and it was not an additional charge. YAY! I had the best massage by Reyna. Acupuncture with Sarah is one of the things I miss most about living in Southern California. My teen son and I both received acupuncture for various concerns and overall wellness. I am a massage therapist and was a fairly stressed out business owner and sessions with Sarah really restored body, mind and spirit. The absolute best in care for healing. Sara is amazing with acupuncture the sessions are healing and relaxing (I get the best sleep while she's doing my needles). After a session she usually wraps it up with a short massage to get the chi flowing and she adds aromatherapy which enhances the healing and rest. The herbs she suggests have helped support the work we're doing. Adiel is amazing for lymphatic drainage massage! A must see when she is in town. This is a VERY long overdue review of Sarah, acupuncturist and now owner of YZ Acupuncture. She was highly recommended by my masseuse. I saw her for my plantar fasciitis after two years of unsuccessful treatments, which included painful injections by a podiatrist and daily stretching exercises that did not help. The condition was so painful and debilitating. If you've had plantar fasciitis you know how painful walking can be. I am forever grateful to Sarah for fixing my condition after only about 6 sessions. Yume Takeuchi, L.Ac. is an expert acupuncturist and healer. A couple of years ago, I wanted to take control of a diagnosis of Bell's Palsy that came on suddenly. I had heard that acupuncture was helpful in the healing process, and Kaiser (my insurance) even included it in the options for treatment. I had not had acupuncture at that time and though Kaiser's treatment was available for a cheap rate, I felt I needed 1:1 treatment from a more sensitive and gifted acupuncturist I could trust. This was my face we are talking about! I knew about Yume's excellence in acupuncture services through many friends and colleagues who raved about her private practice in SF Bay Area, Acu-Doula. Dear Yelpers, I went to Corey Liao with a very stiff neck and shoulder. This girl saved me from the worse pain I have ever experienced. I'm a hairstylist, and my job is labor intensive. I could not move my neck or shoulder. Pain killers did not help. Massage did not work. Corey was my savior! I went to her and the first visit I felt better. Then the second visit even better. The third better and better. Now, I'm pain free. I can't thank her enough. She is a healer. Please, be patient because acupuncture takes little longer than western. Can't tell why they moved my original review out of the regular group and moved it to "not recommended", but that is some strange new Yelp thing. Yu Zhang is the best ! Sarah Adcock is great. They both took care of me for over 10 years, and they helped me with pain and other problems. I was sold on the first visit: I had been having pains for about three months and my regular M.D. was stumped: she could not find what was wrong with me. First they thought it was a gall bladder problem, but upper G.I. proved it was not. After thousands of dollars spent on x-rays, ultrasounds, blood tests, I was still in pain but traditional medicine had no clue as to what was causing the pain. A friend recommended Yu Zhang. I went, and he talked to me first and was compassionate and said he thought he could help me. ONE treatment, yes, ONE, made the pain go away, and never came back. That was it, I was hooked. I have moved over an hour away, and have tried two other acupuncture services near my new home. Neither has come even close to being as good as Yu Zhang acupuncture. If you have pain, or need to deal with any health issues, it is definitely worth trying these caring people who really, really make you feel better. read more
