They listened to what we wanted and Al (owner) provided a bid the following day. After evaluating the other two bids, it was clear we needed to go with DFWCVS. Not just because of price, but service, care, good communication and quality equipment. Al and Justin arrived on time to do the install and set to work. Since we were replacing the entire system and moving some of the cameras to better locations (thank you Al), they were around all day. They worked hard and I could tell, they worked well together. Al kept us informed at all times on where they were with the install. There was one small hiccup when Justin slipped in the attic and accidentally caused some damage to our kitchen ceiling. Justin and Al felt so bad about the accident, but we kept telling them, it was an accident and we were thankful nobody got hurt. Al took action and worked on getting a repairman to come over to access the damages. Luckily, we have a neighbor that owns his own painting company and he came over and gave Al a bid. The repair work was finished a few days later. You couldn't tell it was ever damaged . Al and Justin were finishing up some work for us and were relieved to see how well it had turned out. Al took care of everything and was hired by our neighbor for some security work. A new relationship was made. Win win. We can't speak highly enough about the integrity of this company. Last week our system stopped working, I emailed and text Secure One, Ariel responded to me and arranged to come out on 7/25, when Ariel and his helpers arrived, they informed me that the DVR was 'blown' their words, and I needed a new one, they had one on their truck and it would cost $650 which included installation, hooking up 8 wires and the internet relay box. The system is not hardwired into our router but picks up the internet wirelessly through the relay port and an IP address. Ariel argued this point and wanted to mess with our router which I refused as the system, which as I explained to him several times is not hardwired. The app that he said I now had to use IDMSS was awful, and then on top of all of this he left without the system working. Our IT guy came out and input the IP address and it worked.... While our IT guy was at our home I had him install a new internet relay booster, basically because we could ! I then researched the DVR that Secure Tech installed and found it was nowhere near the price I had been charged and as I said the app is horrible, I emailed Secure Tech and told them that I was dissatisfied and I thought they had gouged us on the price and they needed to come and remove their DVR and refund my money. They did this on Monday 7/29. I ordered a new Night Owl DVR from Amazon and today my IT guy came out yet again,to install the newDVR, he decided to see if the old unit was actually 'blown', what a surprise, it worked perfectly, the original internet relay box had a port that had malfunctioned, but Secure Tech did not test the box, they just decided that the DVR was not working and we needed to pay exorbitantly for a new one. I would not recommend this company ever, in my opinion I think Ariel and his crew need training on how to research what the problem is on a system before making statements, causing needless hassle and over pricing their components and their capabilities.

The parts were on order for a month to the repair shop isn't responding for weeks but they call every day for a status to the parts are now being overnighted to now the only person in the country that can repair it had a death in the family.... The family member fell and I was unable to get playback to document the accident. DSC has never returned my call even though I was willing to pay for a service call.
