Since being treated by Jackie Haught and her crew, I have stopped bouncing from feeling ill to experiencing constant back pain to now being able to enjoy my health and play tennis again. I had been to acupuncturists before and never had the results I get from Blue Lotus. Jackie tailors every treatment to meet that individual's needs. She also encourages people to learn and try to get their body to heal itself. I have used mainly Western medicine to treat my illnesses my whole life from cystic fibrosis, scoliosis, sinusitis, pancreatic insuficiency and diabetes. It only gets me so far. Using her treatments to compliment my Western medicine has been so beneficial to my health but also my emotional state. I am no longer depressed as I have hope and feel empowered by the care at Blue Lotus. Aside from the masterful massage that I have received at Blue Lotus, I am now also being given acupuncture by Kevin Pinzone who is treating me for scoliosis. He uses certain points plus moxa. The results are amazing and I am playing tennis 2-3 times a week. Before this, my only other option was to bear the pain or have extremely risky back surgery. I am so glad I gave this a try first. I found this place on a referral after my friend raved about the care she got here.. Had my doubts about acupuncture but was in a lot of pain, not feeling well, and Western medicine wasn't doing enough for me. To my surprise these people were not at all pretentious, were compassionate, and personal. There is a senior practitioner, Jackie Haught, who is personal and extremely skilled, and also people who she has trained who work along side of her. They also see there own clients. I received great care, a therapeutic massage from Keith that was amazing and provided great relief for my pain. Other people do massage there as well. I hear from other clients they are all good and experienced in different techniques. My acupuncture was interesting. The first time I got minor relief. The second session provided much more relief. By session three I'd say 80% of my pain was gone and holding for the week. I continued sessions and after three weeks (6 sessions) I was pain free. I am amazed. No more muscle relaxers and (constipation from them). I go for maintenance sessions to keep things good. I am very lucky to have found this. I highly recommend this place and these people. read more

I've seen acupuncturist Jackie Haught for many years now. I've seen at least 12 other practitioners around the country, and I can say without a doubt that she is the best. She's helped me with so many things: asthma, depression, headaches, a broken foot, and just keeping me healthy. She's amazing. If you're afraid of needles, I think this is a good place to go. Certainly better than some other acupuncturists I've seen. You can just tell Jackie and she'll be very gentle and make sure it doesn't hurt. Believe me - I've been seeing her since I was 6 years old (and I'm 29 now!!) When you make an acupuncture appointment with Jackie, you also get about 10 minutes of bodywork/ massage with one of her several assistants (such as Kevin, who I seen mentioned in some of the other reviews). They've all been great. I've never known another acupuncture place that pairs with massage, but I think it makes sense because you often benefit from having both together. Honestly, I can't recommend this place highly enough! I like to go every week, if I can. Fred at Blue Lotus is incredible. I went to him with a circulatory issue in my leg that no doctor (and I had seen so many!) could seem to help me with and caused me quite a bit of pain. Fred approached the problem with intrigue and excitement and my leg is no longer a big issue for me. I moved about a year ago and I make it a point to stop in for acupuncture every time I visit New York. I have been to Xuewen Chai for multiple bodywork sessions- and honestly- he was born to do this work! He is extremely knowledgeable, attentive, caring and thorough. He integrates sliding soft silicone cups into his bodywork and it is incredible. This technique is very beneficial in that it increases blood flow and energy flow as well as the added benefit of myofacial release. The first time I went to him I was recovering from a back injury and the session helped expedite recovery! What a gift! After that I was hooked and can't wait to go back again and again.
