This place is the real deal. Made from scratch everything. Best cheese curds I've ever had. Smoked chicken wings with homemade slaw were spot on. Homemade mint chocolate chip ice cream was delicious. They even made their own brick oven to cook pizzas. Made from scratch dough and sauce with great toppings. Loved the pizza and the draft beer selection was solid with local and regional brews. Heather and Zach have a hit and we're fun to talk to. I'll be back to this place whenever I'm in town. It was a great stop after the Leinenkugel's brewery tour. read more

Food was average at best. Cook time was extremely slow. No one expects to wait 45 minutes for food when there are only 3 other tables in the place. Im mostly giving this a 1 star because of the owner. Take a minute to go to their Facebook page and see how childish this owner is. Criticism of the business should be used to better the operation. Instead, this owner makes excuse after excuse and takes zero responsibility for their failures. Cute place that I'll be looking at buying in 6 months when this place closes. This was my first time here and I was impressed with the emphasis on local businesses, brews and everything from scratch. We had the Wood-fired Portabella Caps for appetizers and they were fantastic. Plenty of cheese with the juicy mushroom caps blended well. The homemade marinara was tart but cut the richness of the cheese and truffle oil. We had the Blue Marble Paninos and Machine Gun Kelly (vegetarian) Paninos. One with a side of fries the other with apple/bacon slaw. A Paninos is similar to a calzone. A calzone is baked, while the Paninos is fried. Think chimichanga. Never heard of paninos until today, but I'm sold. I was actually sold at "fried". Both were excellent. The fries (not shoe string, thinner than crinkle cut though) were skin on and crisp. The slaw had the bitter of apple with the sweet, sweet taste of bacon. Also some cabbage. We will go back. I'm going to try the pizza. I've heard it's good and the entertainment value of the wood burning brick oven in plain sight is worth it. read more

I had never heard of this place before a couple of weeks ago, but I have thought about it since! We found out that the owner makes many of the sauces and dressings from scratch, and everything we had tasted delicious. The only reason I took off a star is because the service is a little slow. The wait staff was incredibly friendly to us and even filled us in on some of the history of the building and the plans the owner has to continue renovating. If you're looking for somewhere to kick back and enjoy some time with a few friends, I would definitely suggest Blue Marble Pub. read more

It was just ok. Service was good but the pizza seemed like there were shortcuts taken. A good salty garlic butter on the crust and some seasoning on the chicken would have made the pizza twice as flavorful. They call it the Breathless Mahoney and it was quite breathless in flavor. Excellent pizza and phenomenal service. We were visiting from central Illinois and came based on Yelp reviews and this place did not disappoint. The pizza is not mass produced, it tastes like it is made from scratch. Decent beer selection. We had the mushroom appetizers and they were delicious. We came here at 6:00 on a Sunday, where the hours both online and on the door said open until 9:00. There were no customers in the restaurant and once we finally found employees behind the counter we asked if they were open loudly and we were completely ignored by the staff. Worst cheese curds ever terrible burger overall horrible food do not recommend service was decent at best

Unfortunately we had a bad experience. There was only one server in the place and it was not filled, there were four groups of people from what we could tell. Then it took over one hour to get our food. As we waited we were not offered refills on drinks. When it arrived it my fries and sandwich were cold and my friend's burger was cooked incorrectly. There was no acknowledgement by the staff that this was unacceptable. When it came to pay we as customers had to get up and go to the counter to pay instead of it being handled by the server. read more

I've honestly never had an experience this negative. We stopped in for a couple drinks and pizza during a night out with friends for a birthday party. The server accidentally spilled an entire tray of drinks on my husband and I while we were eating. Accidents happen and we totally get that, so we didn't say anything. When we were ready to go a gal who we later found out was the owner brought us our bill. It wasn't correct and had extra drinks on it. When my husband asked for it to be corrected the owner got very defensive and rude. She accused my husband of being angry and he wasn't even angry, was just trying to make sure our bill was correct. When she brought our bill back she slapped the bill down on the table and told us to just pay up and leave!!! In all of my years serving, bartending and working in customer service I've never seen or experienced anything like this. I am very disappointed at the way we were treated. On top of all that the drink selection was pretty limited and the food was just mediocre. read more

I ate at the Blue Marble Pub today with a friend. I ordered the taco salad with beef and she had a taco wrap with chicken. The beef on mine was literally an old burger patty, with minimal taco seasoning. Nasty! The lettuce looked like spinach and it was served with approximately 5 small tortilla chips. My friend enjoyed her wrap despite there being what looked like a plastic fork prong in it, which she told the waitress about. The waitress never once checked with us during the meal, only when the bill came. It was a bad experience all around and I won't be back. read more
