Great service from some of the best pool cleaners in the valley. Recommend anyone with a pool to be serviced by blue marlin.

I never have to worry about scrambling to get the pool clean by dumping a bunch of chlorine in it and crossing my fingers.

Blue Dot installed our pool 2 years ago. We have been VERY happy with everything…read more First contact - I have a good friend who owns a pool building business but was in the process of moving to another state. I contacted my friend to ask him to build the pool but due to his circumstances he couldn't do it in the time frame we wanted (signed contract late June, finish before end of summer) because he wouldn't be in town for the summer. I asked who I should talk to and he gave me James' contact info and said he's the best builder in the valley. The entire process with Blue Dot was great. We went through the design and ordering process in June. Selected colors and materials. We changed many things along the way, but James and the others at Blue Dot always took care of us. After a lot of changes we signed the final plan in late June. They started the build process quickly - so soon that I'm sure they had crews scheduled even before we finalized the plan. Kept us informed when crews were coming (and due to our rush they were early most of the time). The entire build process was great!!! I especially appreciated the fact that James was very direct in pointing out where I could do some of the smaller jobs myself and save money (like safety locks on the doors and fence, etc.). He was more than happy to keep me involved in the build. Blue Dot finished the pool just like we wanted and the kids were swimming end of August. Then, just when you'd expect a builder to disappear and move onto the next job ... things got better. James came over the day the pool finished filling and spent 2 1/2 hours giving me a private pool school training. He went over the equipment, showed me how to test the water, gave details about why I needed to do all the things he was teaching me. This is the first pool we've had and I learned so much that neighbors and family contact me to ask pool questions. Of course I didn't remember everything .... but James and I emailed back and forth daily for the first 40 days (at his request) for me to send him the numbers and James to coach me on what to do to keep the water clean and clear. Then, a year later we started noticing cracks in the deck. One email to James and his crew was there a few days later to patch and fix the deck. Then, two years later (a few days ago) I thought I had some equipment problems that I'd need to pay James to come fix. I took a video of what I was seeing in my equipment and emailed it to Blue Dot. James called me on Saturday mornning and explained what I was doing wrong (I'm sure he told me about it in my private pool school and I forgot) but he was the consumate teacher and described how to fix it and why it needed to be set a specific way. So - call Blue Dot for your pool. We are very glad we did. Incidentally, our friend who built pools has been by several times to visit. He agrees that the pool is awesome.

This is very uncommon in the pool industry. They hold quality over quantity, their new pools are breath taking and their remodels are a step above. Anything from electrical, decks, grills, gas lines, pumps filters and anything else you can think of that a backyard could need, James will not disappoint you. Whether it's a new pool, volleyball court in your yard, landscaping or just a diagnoses of water chemistry, pump issues, if you are having trouble keeping your pool clear or whatever else....this should be your first stop. You will not be disappointed! James, Jake and Stephanie will make sure of it!!!!! Their passion for customer and employee satisfaction shines through their employees willingness to go above and beyond on a daily basis at every pool they are involved with. Thank you Blue Dot Pools, there is a reason you have so many amazing reviews. Keep up the great work, the world needs more companies like this.

This was my first time visiting this gym and I went as a guest. There were a lot of cool things…read morethat they offer. The equipment offered a range of machines and I like the way they separated the equipment upstairs, and into different rooms downstairs. They have a few rooms to play different handball and croquet games. There is a basketball court , sauna, whirlpool and swimming pool. The restroom/ Locker room was very clean . The only thing I didn't care for was looking at the pool, it can use a facelift. The bottom of the pool is discolored and needs to be redone . Same with the whirlpool. There were also IMO, not enough cleaning areas. None were close enough while I was working out. I had to search for the cleaning stations. That leads me to believe that a lot of people don't clean the equipment before or afterwards. I made sure that I did because I do no want to get sick from other people germs.

I'm honestly furious with LA Fitness at this point. This isn't just me being annoyed with a gym…read moreanymore -- I genuinely feel like this company has personally come after me and my livelihood. The whole experience has been unbelievably disrespectful. The gym is gross, dirty, and poorly maintained, and the customer service is somehow even worse. But what really pushed me over the edge was trying to cancel my membership. I was told I needed to physically come into the gym to deal with the cancellation, despite the fact that the location is over an hour away from me. So let me get this straight: you're perfectly happy taking my money remotely every month, but when I want to stop paying you, suddenly I have to rearrange my life, lose time, spend money on gas, and drive more than an hour just to tell you I'm done? That doesn't feel like customer service. It feels like an obstacle deliberately put in my way. And when your livelihood depends on your time and your money, forcing someone to waste hours of both just to escape a membership they no longer want is not some harmless inconvenience. That money matters. My time matters. My livelihood matters. At this point, I don't feel like LA Fitness is simply providing me with a bad gym experience. I feel like they have made themselves an unnecessary financial and personal burden in my life, and I am absolutely done being treated like my time and money don't matter. Maybe that's not how they intended it. But that's what they have done to me. I joined a gym. Somehow I ended up fighting a company just to leave one. I have since joined EOS fitness and my experience has been far better. It's cleaner better maintained and better customer service

I've been bringing my daughter (now 3 years old) to this swim school since she was about 6 months…read moreold. I understand that swim progress isn't always fast, and I value safety far more than rushing through the levels. That said, it feels like we've reached a point where her progress has completely stalled. She's been in Level 3 Comfort at 77% progress for the last 4-5 months. Each week we receive slightly different feedback, but there's never a clear plan or explanation of what they'll be working on next to help her improve. I don't expect overnight progress, but I do expect a structured approach with clear goals and consistent feedback. Unfortunately, that's not my biggest concern. For a swim school charging over $123 per month for group lessons, plus an annual fee of more than $45, I expect a higher level of professionalism and reliability. We attend the same class every week, yet it seems to be canceled far more often than it should be. What makes it especially frustrating is that these cancellations frequently happen after the scheduled start time. We'll arrive for our 9:00 a.m. lesson, wait for the instructor, and then around 9:05 or 9:10 be told, "I'm sorry, we'll have to offer you a make-up lesson." I'm generally flexible, but that doesn't mean my time isn't valuable. Rearranging our schedule, getting my daughter ready, driving to the facility, and then learning after the lesson was supposed to begin that it's canceled is frustrating and disrespectful of families' time. A make-up lesson doesn't make up for the inconvenience, and it certainly doesn't inspire confidence that my daughter has a consistent instructor she can rely on. Overall, I'm disappointed with the experience and with how management has handled these recurring issues. At no point has anyone from management reached out to ask about our experience or discuss how they could improve it. Instead, those conversations have been left to the employees, who seem to be doing their best in a difficult situation. I genuinely feel for the staff because, from my perspective, many of these issues appear to stem from a lack of leadership and accountability rather than a lack of effort from the employees themselves. I wanted this to be a place where my daughter could build confidence in the water through consistency and support. Instead, we've experienced stalled progress, frequent last-minute cancellations, and a lack of accountability from management. I hope these issues are addressed because the instructors and employees deserve better support, and the families paying for these lessons deserve a much more reliable experience

However, as others have said, the classes aren't really progressing or teaching them how to swim. We went for months and my daughter got more comfortable with the water and enjoys going but I was hoping she would be actually learning to swim, since it's a swim school. It's more like a swim-activity school. They definitely are focused on keeping families in the program, rather than actually teaching how to swim. I think we could be there for years and my daughter not be an actual swimmer. So 5 stars for a fun swim activity and getting children more comfortable with the water with lots of class options but 1 star for an actual swimming school.
