We have been VERY happy with everything…read more First contact - I have a good friend who owns a pool building business but was in the process of moving to another state. I contacted my friend to ask him to build the pool but due to his circumstances he couldn't do it in the time frame we wanted (signed contract late June, finish before end of summer) because he wouldn't be in town for the summer. I asked who I should talk to and he gave me James' contact info and said he's the best builder in the valley. The entire process with Blue Dot was great. We went through the design and ordering process in June. Selected colors and materials. We changed many things along the way, but James and the others at Blue Dot always took care of us. After a lot of changes we signed the final plan in late June. They started the build process quickly - so soon that I'm sure they had crews scheduled even before we finalized the plan. Kept us informed when crews were coming (and due to our rush they were early most of the time). The entire build process was great!!! I especially appreciated the fact that James was very direct in pointing out where I could do some of the smaller jobs myself and save money (like safety locks on the doors and fence, etc.). He was more than happy to keep me involved in the build. Blue Dot finished the pool just like we wanted and the kids were swimming end of August. Then, just when you'd expect a builder to disappear and move onto the next job ... things got better. James came over the day the pool finished filling and spent 2 1/2 hours giving me a private pool school training. He went over the equipment, showed me how to test the water, gave details about why I needed to do all the things he was teaching me. This is the first pool we've had and I learned so much that neighbors and family contact me to ask pool questions. Of course I didn't remember everything .... but James and I emailed back and forth daily for the first 40 days (at his request) for me to send him the numbers and James to coach me on what to do to keep the water clean and clear. Then, a year later we started noticing cracks in the deck. One email to James and his crew was there a few days later to patch and fix the deck. Then, two years later (a few days ago) I thought I had some equipment problems that I'd need to pay James to come fix. I took a video of what I was seeing in my equipment and emailed it to Blue Dot. James called me on Saturday mornning and explained what I was doing wrong (I'm sure he told me about it in my private pool school and I forgot) but he was the consumate teacher and described how to fix it and why it needed to be set a specific way. So - call Blue Dot for your pool. We are very glad we did. Incidentally, our friend who built pools has been by several times to visit. He agrees that the pool is awesome.

Visited over the weekend as they were hosting an open house with free classes to celebrate the…read morestudio being under new ownership. We were welcomed promptly by the front desk staff to check in. My friend received several phone calls leading up to the class to ensure she came prepared with grip socks. I however did not receive a call so was not prepared. I ended up having to buy a pair at the studio (no biggie-- I have a cute pair of socks now). I found it a little odd that socks were even needed as the studio was carpeted. I have not done many barre classes so I'm not sure if this is standard. There were several classes offered that morning, my friend and I took the 9am. There was not any sort of introduction by the instructor or overview of what the class would entail, we just jumped right into the class. It's one thing if it's a regular class, but when you're hosting an open house and looking to attract new members I would have appreciated a little bit more of an overview and a chance to connect with the instructor/studio. The music good and I definitely left feeling like I got a good workout (especially my core!) The owner was very positive and welcoming and even gifted the attendees with little mementos from their travels-- which I appreciated and thought was a nice touch :)

Pure Barre is a Class Pass member and I've always wanted to try a class ever since this location…read moreopened up. I signed up for an afternoon classic barre class and filled out my waiver online before class started. When I got here I was warmly greeted and check in was no problem. I was given a tour of the space. The check in and front area has merchandise for sale, and the studio is spacious and well kept. There are cubbies next to the studio to stash your belongings. For the classic class all your equipment is provided which for our class were 2 lb weights, a ball, looped elastic bands, and a mat. You do need to provide your own grippy socks and they sell their own brand at the studio. I got some at Target for around $5 which were good enough for this class. The class was a good pace, and the instructor was very friendly, welcoming, and engaging. She asked prior to class if I had any injuries, past or present to be aware of. I appreciated her encouraging attitude and she was great at providing instruction on how to do all the moves and letting me know how to do an exercise correctly. The classic barre is a good overall workout and my abs, triceps, and lower body muscles were sore the day after. Some of the crunches/ab exercises were hard on my neck and I had some neck pain afterwards but in hindsight that is usually what happens with me and crunches and I'm sure the instructor would have offered a modifier had I mentioned it. The studio itself was very clean and well ventilated. I appreciated that it was cool enough during class that I wouldn't overheat. Overall it was a great experience and I'd go again to try another class.

He must believe that variety is the spice of life because every time going there there is a new way to work out. I like his knowledge and his ability to work with and around any limitations. From the start, they were non-responsive, would never show up for appointments, had terrible workmanship, left a dirty and unsafe worksite at all times, had poor installation of equipment and even had missing equipment, allowed their subcontractors to manage the job thus leaving us with numerous measurement and scaling issues. We can give numerous examples. The only time they would show up is to collect payments, which we paid in full. Their non-responsiveness goes beyond rude. It's be a year and we are still awaiting a clean "hand-off" as to how to use the equipment AND THE POOL DOES NOT FUNCTION AS INTENDED. Do yourself a HUGE financial and emotional favor and do NOT use TMC Custom Pools! We wish someone would have given us that advice.

I just finished my first class, coached by John. The first 30 minutes are strength/weight training & second 30 minutes are cardio. I loved the structured class - it was fun/challenging, but didn't cripple me! While I do yoga & functional fitness workouts, I'm not in the best shape of my life. I'm not overweight at all but appreciate increasing my endurance & core strength. Once you join, they do a thorough assessment of all kinds of metrics including Body Mass Index (BMI), Range of Motion (ROM) & more. This aspect looks incredibly fascinating & not entirely sure of the metrics b/c they're possibly proprietary to Proof3. Looking forward to that to checkout my baseline & how I can improve.

The prices are super reasonable and the product is top quality. All of the kayaks I have used from them are in great condition and easy to use. They supply you with everything you need: paddles, life vests, maps, and even help you load the boats onto your vehicle. I was able to pick up two kayaks today in my sedan with no roof rack and get out on the lake for a beautiful afternoon. The owner helped us pick out where to go and gave us some tips. Lower Salt allowed me to change my reservation because I was nervous about weather and even though they were short on staff they made sure someone was there on the day of pickup to help load my boats up and get us on the lake. Everyone I've worked with there has been friendly, informative and helpful. I will continue to rent my kayaks from them whenever I want to get out on the lakes or the Salt. I can't recommend them enough!
