    Kids picking out their donuts

Huge selection of donuts and very friendly owner! We love this addition to Joseph and we'll be back tomorrow, too!

These folks have filled a hole in this community and that is the donut hole. We now have FRESH donuts, made locally. They have a lots of seasonal donuts as well as the ole standbys. My favorite is the maple bar with BACON! On top of taking care of our breakfast needs they also have FRESHLY, MADE ready to bake pizzas for lunch or dinner. You can call and get a custom one made or swing by and pick up one of their combos already made and waiting in the cooler for you. They have a large size and then one they call "camper" because it fits in your camper's oven. Their crust is wonderful and the toppings are FRESH. So don't hesitate, stop by say hi to Jane and Jeff, and grab yourself some breakfast and dinner.

Good donuts, the best I ever had. Friendly service, Ghe old fashions are the best. Get there early before they sell out.

So fun to find such a great place in such a far away spot. Everything was totally decadent.

We stopped in for a breakfast treat on a beautiful late September morning and were expecting more…read morebased on the bakery's promotional literature that they had home made pies, cakes and so on. (Yes, we eat home made pie for breakfast when we're on vacation! Isn't it like fruit and toast?) What we found was an assortment of fried pastries like cinnamon snails, maple bars and glazed donuts. These were obviously fresh, all large sized, and carefully made. Not a bad thing if that's what you're looking for, but it wasn't what we were expecting based on the promotional materials and they are not things we eat. We settled on a bagel (a "ho hum" bagel that we're pretty sure was not house baked) and a cup of coffee - good coffee from local (Joseph) roaster Motley Brew. The space was nice and clean and the (order at counter) service was very friendly, so thumbs up for both. If you're in Enterprise and looking for what we describe as pastries, Cloud 9 is the place to go. If you're looking for something more creative as a breakfast goody, you might swing by the Longhorn Espresso & BBQ iosk on Greenwood across from the Enterprise city park. No kidding...good little breakfast scones and muffins are available there. Also while Cloud 9 lists itself as a deli, there was no evidence of deli items when we visited, although they did have a lunch menu of sandwiches and sides available after a certain hour.

I was hoping to try this place out, but it was closed. Im not sure if it's closed for good or not…read more It's hard finding breakfast spots in the area.

From the moment we walked in, Michael asked the last name on the reservation and had memorized first when we told him. Vali's does one meal per evening, from 6pm-8pm and requires reservations. Everyone is served the same meal, with the only option variations being in drinks and the dessert you choose. The meal include appetizers, main course, and dessert. They have a menu that varies week to week, but that is always delicious! Tonight we enjoyed pork schnitzel, red cabbage, and au gratin potatoes! The pork schnitzel was perfectly tender with a crispy crust, the red cabbage cooked JUST right with a perfect amount of sweetness, and the au gratin potatoes were nice & cheesy! Our dessert options were between Pistachio Creme Brulee with Cherries, Chocolate Ginache, or Apple Cobbler with Vanilla Ice Cream. My Pistachio Creme Brulee was AMAZING, as was my wife's Apple Cobbler! The entire meal is such a personal experience, hosted by this wonderful couple that you KNOW want you to have the best experience possible. We didn't get to speak with Dionne, just received a kind wave from the kitchen, with a "Thank you for coming in!" I'd love to have Dionne come out from the kitchen to socialize after the desserts have been served! She seemed very sweet. All in all, I can't recommend this place enough. There was a table of eight, with four generations, that said they'd been coming annually for many years, and I can't blame them. Vali's and Wallowa Lake are a long drive from most places, but are both worth the drive. Exquisite scenery, wonderful people, and remarkable food!
