    Another bruise

What a horrible experience. After a full day at Disney, my 3 friends and I thought a massage would be a great idea. At check in.. the lady (the owner it seems, Bo) at the counter kept telling us to pay first before asking us what service we wanted, which was odd. Only one of the masseuse had ask about the strength level. The other 3 just started digging in with their elbows. Didn't ask a thing during the massage. We all had the combo which was foot and body... they barely touched our feet. One of them was a beginner it seemed like... because the other masseuse (Bo ) went over to her a few times to teach her what to do which took time from the the one she was working on. none of us had a good massage. It was the worst experience we had. Upon leaving they all stood at the front (like a barrier) and DEMANDED a 20% tip. No where on their board does it say tip is required. With the service received, I really don't think they deserved a tip but didn't want to cause trouble. So tipped them and left. WILL NEVER GO THERE again! Some pics to share of the bruises my friends got from it.

Spent two days walking the Disneyland parks out feet were sore. Pulled up this place. Overall we enjoyed the massage. Three stars because the young lady working the counter charged us extra $50.00. They ask for payment first so I was like that's not too. Because I'll tip afterwards she tired to tell me that was right. So I had to pull out my calculator and show her. She didn't know how to refund my card back. So it ran into my appointment time someone else had to come and do but she was confused too. After 15 minutes they figured it out. I almost just left and didn't even want a massage at that point but we were with other people so we stayed. Just makes me wonder if this is something they do often? Because the girl seemed adamant it was the right amount until I had to clarify her prices. I don't know about you but no matter how amazing the massage I'm not leaving $50 tip for a massage.

I got a Groupon and upon the end of my massage they informed me that it was cheaper to go and pay there. For reference, the menu offered massage for $50 and Groupon did for $60. Cindy did my massage, and it was a lot better than last time I got a massage (elsewhere), she was very soft and went at the pressure I asked! Would go again!

Prices as of 7/2020- masks must be worn

The place is located off Euclid / Crescent in the same plaza as Jollibee/ 99 Ranch Market. Find the 99 Ranch, find the Dental place, and its next door. The other Yelpers weren't kidding when they said the staff's English is minimal. The lady who helped me spoke barely and English, so we did a lot of charades. There's new protocol during the COVID time. - First, you fill out a disclaimer paperwork, writing that you understand you have to wear a mask, and that you're not sick. Yes I wore a mask while getting massaged.... - Then they take your temperature. You write the result in the paperwork and sign your name Next step: you tell her what service you want. I chose the 90-minute massage, and apparently during COVID its private room only. You have to pay up front for the service, and get a few bucks off if you pay cash. I thought she wanted tip too, but I must have insulted her because she waved her hand, gesturing "after the service". The woman directed me into the private room and said "take off" and pointed to the hooks to hang my clothes. Apparently "take off" means just your shirt and pants... because when she walked in, she nearly screamed when I was lying there (covered) but "butt" naked. No, no! She exclaimed... Keep underwear. She was standing there freaking out, so I hopped off the massage table, not knowing if I should be modest and cover myself with the sheet, and put my underwear back on, or just flash my nakedness and put my underwear back on. Note to self: Always ask what "take off" means... naked? or keep the underpants on? For here, ladies, its bra off, but panties on! The 90-minutes massage was amazing. I think I fell asleep on the table. She concentrated heavily on my back and shoulders, not so much on my feet. An hour into the session, she flipped me on my back, and massaged my neck and shoulders facing up, so keep in mind you get massaged faced down the most. I tipped her $15 which she seemed to be happy. I asked her name, which then she whipped out a "loyalty" card and wrote her name "Alice". I highly recommend her, but be warned that English is not her first language, or her strong point.

Great little massage place tucked in the corner of the local strip mall. Clean, quiet. Massage therapists are skilled and strong, keeps the experience straightforward and dependable. Gets the knots out. If you can speak mandarin extra bonus :)

This place is amazing ! Totally recommend to anyone ! I recoupment the 60 minute foot massage. 30 min is too short.

This is my first time here. Be prepared to be harassed to tip over 25% -- and when I mean,…read moreharassed, I mean cornered by your massage therapist, the front desk lady, and the male manager with your debt card being held hostage unless you tip more. I understand that times are tough for everybody, but asking for over 25% of a tip, then becoming disgruntled and refusing to give me my change or debt card back while and calling Mangement is a very poor reflection of this business and how they treat their employees with their hourly wage if they even get one. The entire experience was very uncomfortable. There's not much privacy so when you're undressing, you better hope that there's not someone walking past cause they can obviously see you through the thin curtains. The environment had roaches in the bathroom. It was rough. The services were OK maybe a 7-8/10. I tipped 20% just to get my debt card back and leave. I won't be coming back here because how awkward, tacky, and unprofessional my experience was. Responding to the "owner" below: I know how to do math. Therapist got 20$ cash (broken from $100) after refusing to accept my 13$ tip. I paid 105$ on my card -- I even went as far as to show your therapist the math on a calculator on my phone to try to communicate the reasoning behind my tipping. You left your therapist out to dry instead of trying to help communicate to her, you walked away. Customary tipping in the United States is between 12-15% aka $12.50 - $15.75. This is supplementally to their hourly wage. Trust me I'm not anti-tipping, I just don't agree with how I was mistreated. For outstanding service: then the tipping would be 15-20%. Which by the way, after you three harassed me your therapist STILL got $20 just for me get out of the establishment -- so good on you for making people feel uncomfortable and unwelcome, your therapist still got what she requested, so remind me what the issue is? Furthermore, $20 USD is equivalent to ¥136.57 CNY and ¥ 3143.71 JPY as of closing today, which is well over what the standard wage within both those economies. Also -- why are we quoting ¥ when I paid in USD -- are customers suppose to be paying in different currency? Totally fine if we are but I was not made aware of that and it seems you and your therapist got a fair compensation per USD and ¥ standards. I'm a business owner too -- and my employees see tips as just extras because of their proper compensation, I do that intentionally so situations like this don't put my customers or employees in an uncomfortable situation. The conversation would have been different if you and your staff weren't so rude. If you read the review thoroughly you would see that the issue wasn't the therapist's service per say. The issue was the following in more detail, since a simple "sorry for your bad experience" is no longer a thing and you've insulted me -- the customer: - it seems like accountability is a new concept to you -- meanwhile you left your therapist to fend for herself with her bad attitude and not knowing how to communicate with the customer. Her desperation for an additional $5 is alarming, which is where the comment of "IF SHE EVEN GETS AN HOURLY WAGE" came from. This whole experience must have been stressful for her too especially without proper training or support. - Interesting how the male client that walked in while I was at the front trying to pay and leave was treated much differently. ALSO, interesting how you felt the need to respond to my review when there was another negative review right below this one. I wouldn't go as far as to say sexist and racist behavior -- but this response shows for itself. - AND be sure to properly display the licenses of your establishment AND your therapists' licenses from the California Massage Therapy Council (CAMTC) at the front of the establishment. "...massage therapists must display their original CAMTC certificate (not a copy) in a conspicuous, public place at their workplace. This is typically in the reception, waiting area, or a visible location at the entrance" THIS IS THE LAW and I certainly didn't see any of the many therapists' state issued licenses anywhere in the common areas. - the questionable working environment with employees napping and bugs in the facility is the least of the issues, although upsetting is fixable. I fear this place has other more important issues to address. - the ATROCIOUS behavior you all exhibited in response and your therapist's harassment. Your defensive response shows for itself, instead of being a keyboard warrior, lead by a better example for your employees. Everything about this experience has been sketchy especially now realizing there weren't proper documentations displayed and your behavior in response thats not warranted.

First off, when I called, I'm greeted with a "hello"... not a "Hi, thanks for calling A Luis…read moremassage" or even a "how can I help you?" Then I booked an appointment for 8pm. I drove to the place, parked and received a call 5 mins before my appointment saying that it is no longer available?!!? Terrible business practice, will not be going back.
