Wow! Talk about options! We walked into this place for lunch and they have a menu and a half of refreshments, full menu of Mexican snacks, and another full menu of Mexican lunch items. Drink ingredients range from fruits, water, ice, spices, or milk; mangonadas, licuados (milkshakes), raspas (snowcones). I really wanted a small Raspa de Leche, however they did not have that option for the small sizes and I would have had to buy a large one instead, which I didn't really want to, so I opted for a small mangonada. I also wanted the typical Mexican corn in a cup. They had not only yellow corn, but white corn options, with toppings such as Parmesan or Queso fresco, crushed hot Cheetos, chili powder, or Valentina sauce. Everything looked bomb so I opted for the typical corn with parm and Valentina. Everything was sooooo good! A little bit higher priced than your typical refresqueria but they have several more options than they do also. Worth a try! read more

This was my first experience here! There are a lot of menu items but you can't seem to go wrong with anything. My boyfriend got the mangonada and I got the bosque frutal. The item I picked was my favorite because it had a variety of fruit (kiwi, strawberry, bananas, blueberries, mango), raisins and this dairy liquid that tasted somewhat like yogurt or melted ice cream. I've been here a couple times and the dishes are not always worth the prices. I love how they covered the walls with pictures of all the items. The lady waiting on us wasn't very professional or happy to be working. Every time we come the women working aren't friendly and always rush you. Not very welcoming. My boyfriend and I both got fresas con crema, his without granola. The granola was good. The crema, wasn't very sweet at all. Tasted like plain Greek yogurt. The worst part is, the strawberries that were full to the top (which was nice) were too old! They were all mushy! Literally had to throw away half the cup of strawberries. This is a dream come true! I love my chamango so when I hit Houston I was on the look out to get my fix ... and boy did I find it! There was already a line when we got there so that was a good sign. I was surrounded by pictures of beautiful dessert creations. As my first visit, I went for their supercharged chamango, the Chamango Adrenalina! When it came out, it was an amazing and unique work of art. So creative and soooo delicious. My mouth was hit with so many different flavors and textures and it was a joy to experience. I've been a customer for years and have recommended this place to many people bringing lots of new customers. They didn't get an order right and being not my first time ordering this and knowing what it should look like and taste, I kindly ask them to please remake it or substitute it with something else. The lady swore that it was made correct and argued that there is a sign that says no returns. I just asked to get it right or replace it with something equivalent. I don't believe I was asking for too much and was being fair as it is my hard earned money and they are not delivering the product correctly.
