I suffer from an autoimmune disease and deal with chronic inflammation. While I take meds and have regular appointments with a rheumatologist, yoga is the only thing that truly makes me feel better, so I was desperate to find a new home studio. Once everything started opening up, I tried various other studios, but none of them felt right. They all seemed focused on what I call "trendy yoga" . But then I found Breathe. I started following them on Instagram to get a feeling about their practice. Finally I took the plunge and signed up for the new student package. After 3 weeks, I became a full member. The Breathe staff passionately believes that we are students of our bodies, and that mantra shines through in every class. I feel like I've found my practice again.... And that feeling is terrific.

It's the first studio I've ever visited where the instructors make an effort to remember your name the very first time you show up to one of their classes. All are fantastic and lead by individuals who are passionate about what they do. My first class was Christ centered yoga led by Hollie. Hollie is amazing and has such a strong belief and so much love. Her class is amazing and not only are you doing yoga but you are also reinforcing your beliefs. I then did a yoga basics led by Ashliee who owns the studio. She is amazing and loves what she does. She leads a great class and has such wonderful energy. So far the yoga has been amazing and best part is my husband loved it and attends with me now too. Now onto the therapies. First I had the cupping massage. Look it up and if your don't know it is. You get a nice massage follow by the cups being placed on you that drawn out the toxins in the body and get your blood circulating to those areas. I found it to be relaxing and helped with some of my sciatica pain. My husband had the same treatment and liked it as well but didn't find it as relaxing as myself. Next I did the Shirodhara. It is an oil dripping treatment and a nice soothing treatment. It was such a relaxing and blissful experience. It's bit really a massage but a soothing treatment for yourself. It's a treat every time I get to attend one of her classes. The reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is just because of the location, no reflection on Sue. When more than about 12 or 15 people are in the studio, it's just crazy crowded and cramped. There is one restroom and an area for cubbies to place your belongings and shoes. The cubbie area is very nice. The colors and paintings on the walls are nice. It's just overall a little low on personal space. From the time I first came to the studio in about 2007, when Sue did her first teacher training program, till now, the growth has been awesome! She's got a new logo, has a small staff helping her with scheduling and teaching classes, and is about to open a second location on West Avenue. She was very attentive to the detail and asked several times if the water temperature was comfortable or if the scalp massage was gentle enough. It was so relaxing that I must have dozed off for a minute. It's hard to explain, but I truly felt that my stress was lifted away and that I really had more clear thoughts afterwards. What a wonderful early birthday gift. This spa offers so many other natural healing methods, like Reiki, Thai Bodywork, Crystal Therapy, Sound Healing, Yoga, Sharing Circle and much more. I utilized not only Robin's training sessions twice a week, but also hired her for her nutritional plan.
