Love, Love, Love this place. This is my new favorite place. The sauce is amazing, the pizza was OMG.. The meatballs were delicious. Jewel's the waitress was great, couldn't asked for better service. We will be back..

This is where the delivery person said they left our order!

Ordered food on their website to be delivered. Never received it and the Bono's told us it wasn't their problem, the sub to GrubHub and we would have to take it up with them, which is not possible to get to any place to complain or request a refund of fees. Sad for the poor customer w

Really delicious food and very friendly staff. I came here out of town on a whim, and they were super kind and welcoming. The bolognese was really unique because of the three meat blend (beef, sausage, pancetta), but sooo good! It was very fresh yet hearty. It was a huge portion, but I cleaned the plate because I couldn't stop myself!

Absolutely impeccable, the food was about as addictive as crack, the service was amazing, everyone was super friendly and sweet, and the ambience is nice with a good view and music playing in the background.

We loved it so much on our way to Vail that we made a point to stop again on our way back to the Denver airport. That's about the highest compliment I can give a restaurant. The burnt ends were among the best we've ever had--perfectly smoky, tender, and full of flavor. The ribs were outstanding with just the right amount of bark and tenderness. Every sauce was delicious, the sides were excellent, and the local Colorado beer selection and craft cocktails were just as thoughtfully curated as the food. What really sets Seasoned Swine apart, though, is the people. The entire staff made us feel genuinely welcome, and it was clear they take pride in what they do. We had the pleasure of meeting Jacob, the owner, and his passion for authentic barbecue is evident in every detail--from the quality of the food to the atmosphere and service. You can tell this isn't just a business to him--it's a craft. In a world where so many restaurants are just "good enough," Seasoned Swine is memorable. We can't wait to come back, and we'll be recommending it to everyone we know traveling through the Denver/Golden area.

Stairmaster to Heaven (The BBQ Kind) They say distance makes…read morethe heart grow fonder, but in this case, a 30-minute drive and a second-story climb mostly just made us hungry. We were strongly motivated by a lunch date with our daughter and her husband, and apparently, the 'Seasoned Swine' experience starts with a mandatory pre-meal cardio session. If you aren't ready to hit the stairs, you aren't ready for the Swine. The Atmosphere (2 Stars): It's a bit like a sports bar that forgot to buy the TVs. Plenty of high-top tables to perched upon, and a bathroom door that refuses to close--perfect for those who enjoy a 'communal' dining experience in every sense of the word. The Service (3 Stars): Standard 'pay-to-play' setup. You order at the register, pay upfront, and hope for the best. Functional, but don't expect a candlelit serenade. The Food (5 Stars): This is where the magic happens. Three of us tackled the 'Swinoceros' plate--a meat-sweat-inducing mountain of the menu's highlights--while our fourth went for the pulled pork 'sammie.' The Candied Ribs: Out of this world. I'm pretty sure these are illegal in several states. Absolute perfection. The Burnt Ends: Moist, flavorful, and worth the drive alone. The Supporting Cast: The pulled pork, sliced turkey, brisket, and jalapeño cheddar sausage were all good. Even the sides--the OC Mac and Cheese and baked beans--were terrific. The Rolls: The three sweet rolls were... well, they were rolls. They were there. The Verdict: If you can survive the stairs, the awkward bathroom situation, and the DIY service, the food is a total knockout. I came for the family, but I'd stay for those candied ribs.

We were excited to try them because they said they made their own juice, which I believe, but it may have gone sour or something. The goat cheese appetizer was not for me, it was just hot liquidy cheese. Maybe it would be better in the winter. The salmon was decent but not what I expected. It was almost prepared like an Asian dish. However the service was awesome. The ambiance is cute but I wouldn't recommend it for a super hot day because the restaurant is indoor/outdoor

They were kind of just fatty pieces of barbecue meat. Still delicious and the sauces were great, but not really what I was hoping for. We ordered cheese curds, which were actually cubes and that is the first time I've ever seen shaped curds. They were pretty good, as was the sausage and mac & cheese, though the cheese sauce was a little thin. My mom had the focaccia grilled cheese, which had awesome flavors in it, but the focaccia itself was super thick. If we could decrease the bread by like half I think this would be an awesome choice. I think the main reason I would go to the Eddy is to hang out on their patio, especially when they have live music. It's a good view of golden in the foothills and its probably a great sunset spot. They also have a lot of good nonalcoholic options which we really appreciated - including nonalcoholic wine, which you don't see very often . I think I would stop back here on my way back from hiking or climbing in the canyon but I hope to be a little more impressed by the food next time.

Solid 5 stars for a buffet (probably a solid 4 just as a pizza place)…read more This is our second time stopping here on vacation -- going back to Woody's was actually one of the reasons we wanted to hit Golden again. It's on the south side of the main downtown drag. It gets quite busy even at off-peak times, so there's usually a wait of some kind. Head up to the door, get on their list, and they'll call you when your seats are ready. We got a little lucky since there were only two of us and there was open bar seating -- we sat at the bar, had a beer, and did the pizza buffet from there. It's not just a buffet, either. You can order off the menu, get your own personal pizza, or do a two-slice-and-a-salad deal, which is a cheaper version if you don't want the unlimited all-you-can-eat. They also have a full-service bar with cocktails, beer, and everything else you'd want. Salad bar -- one of the best buffet-type salad bars I've found. It's not the largest -- the salad section doesn't go on for miles, it's actually a pretty small setup -- but everything is fresh and the range of ingredients is big. Fresh salads, multiple dressings, several crunchy toppings, a bunch of vegetables, black olives, peppers, and two or three different proteins to add. Really, really like it. Also included with the salad bar buffet is their beer soup -- kind of a cheese soup. I skipped it this time since I didn't want to get that full, but I've had it in the past and it's super solid. Definitely something to try on a cold day. Pizza buffet, under $20/person -- there's a window with all the pizza sitting out, usually four to six at a time, right behind where they're making and cooking them. You can walk up and request whatever you'd like -- the chefs are right there, so you can say "hey, can I get a barbecue chicken pizza?" and they'll put one together and set it in the window. The range is usually about three normal pizzas -- pepperoni, supreme, plain cheese -- and three odder ones, like a buffalo chicken or a beef barbecue cheddar. I also saw one with ricotta and prosciutto. So they're not just doing standard pies; there's a really big range to choose from. The pizza quality is good. I wouldn't call it super thin crust, and it's not super thick where the toppings are -- but the edge of the crust is a thicker, doughy handle you can grip and gnaw on, and it's very tender and flavorful. If you're a crust eater, you'll like this crust, and you can dip it in sauces or dressings from the salad bar. Service was top notch and everybody there was friendly. One thing that stood out: the bartender asked the guy sitting next to us if everything was good, and he said he was just waiting on a buffalo chicken pizza. She called straight over to the kitchen and had them cook one. They still put it out on the buffet, but he got exactly what he wanted. Pro tip: Under $20 a person might sound like a lot, but come hungry and it's a steal. I ate probably fourteen slices -- I drove down here with the intent to get full, and it wasn't a bad full. Highly suggest going, and I'd return if I find myself in Golden, Colorado again.
