I was craving a slice of pizza and a salad with a beer. We decided to drive up to Golden to check out this place. We were greeted immediately and sat, sat by the windows, which was very nice because it was kind of chilly that day so the sun was bright through the windows, the tables chairs, menus salt, pepper shakers everything was very clean including the bathrooms and there was toilet paper. Their pizza is pretty good, but it's not phenomenal. I called to order one of their jalapeño popper pizzas, which is one of the best things they do. But at the end of the day, it's a large three topping pizza and I just can't justify $30 for a large 3 topping pizza. Modern price gouging at its finest. On another note. They are very slow. We were in Golden and my cousins told us they were going to get pizza. We decided to join them. They said they always go here and it's really good. There were 4 adults and 4 kids. We went in before dinner, so it wasn't too crowded which was good. We had a 1 year old with us. Who can be a little loud, so he wasn't disturbing others. The server was super friendly. I know on the menus it says times for how long the food would take. But honestly, I don't even know if it took that long. We were pretty entertained by our son. We got toasted cheese, and that was nice and good. All the kids really enjoyed it. I got the meat lovers calzone, my husband got the lunch special and then there were some other calzones and pizzas and then we got a half order of ravioli for the 1 year old. Overall, pretty good. So, I'm a long time customer of this place and we have many family gatherings here. This week I've ordered twice from them, online, the first pizza was cooked and delivered. Albeit, cold. The second order I decided to do take and bake. Ordered online. Received only a cheese pizza, even though I picked toppings. Manager on duty basically said it's my fault and did nothing. Basically, if you want food from here, go there in person, it's awesome! Order online twice in a week, it's going to be horrible. read more

Husband and I went here for the first time last night. Ordered a side salad and a calzone. Side salad came and my husband and I split it. I took a bite and bit on something hard. I took out of my mouth, and found this thumbtack in my salad. Thank God I did not swallow it. We summoned the server and showed him. He kind of laughed it off, picked it up and he fumbled it to the floor and picked up again. He said "Wonder where that came from?" My husband stated that would have been really bad if my wife swallowed this. Husband asked for the manager and he stated he was. He only offered to take money off our bill. Husband said, no. "It's not safe to eat here". We got up and husband went to the counter and actually spoke to the owner, who offered the same thing. We walked out and he just stared at us. We tried this pizza delivered excited for an authentic pizzeria pizza but sadly very disappointed. This was actually the worst pizzeria pizza I've ever had. Ever. And I've lived a lot of places. My 18 year old son took a bite and said it was garbage. We literally didn't eat it. And seriously I am not picky and neither is he- he's a college student- we eat frozen if we have it ... but it was honestly terrible. The cheese was only on one side- obviously that was a delivery/tilt the box problem, when there was even cheese on it. The sauce was awful- no seasoning at all- honestly it almost tasted like a watered down generic brand ketchup pizza if my eyes had been closed. So sad. I threw it out! And it was expensive for delivery. I have never thrown out pizza in my life. That's my honest review. Save your money and try elsewhere. read more

in the 90s, we frequently went to Mannie and Bos for calzones. they were great and service with courtesy was with the customer in mind. I went recently and the decor was dim and not attractive. Ordered a calzone and after paying (twice as much as before) was told it would be ready in 25 minutes in a take it or leave it attitude. I left and will never go again. They are not courteous and should tell customers in advance that they are slow and 25 minutes is outrageous. very bad place. richJ read more
