Finally got around to trying Guido's Pizza the other night after moving to Genesee in January. We ordered takeout. Everyone I dealt with on the phone and in person was very nice. My pizza was ready and hot when I arrived. I was surprised that they have a cute dining room and offer alcohol too. From the outside, it has a rustic charm, but inside, it's modern, stylish, and inviting. The service is fast and friendly, and the food is delicious. It's a great spot for lunch with coworkers or just a quick, enjoyable meal. Clean, comfortable, and welcoming--a place you'll want to visit again! Wanted to really like this place! But asked for crispy crust on pizza and extra extra crispy wings. Needless to say pizza wasn't crispy and the wings were slimy skin wings which I can't stand. Also, no real sauce on wings. They may of been made while I waited for 45 minutes for pizza and dried out. So if you like your wings saucy, crisp and hot not the place. And have to say I don't think there was any sauce on the pizza at all. These are my simple requests and shouldn't be too hard to make happen. The NY style was pretty good! Classic za and no complaints except it's kinda far from my place. Unfortunately we have two folks with celiac and gluten free crust was inedible, seemed not cooked through. Even running it through our own oven at home we couldn't get it right. It was super "gummy". This location recently changed ownership. This change led to a quite a few food quality issues. The most notable change was a replacement for mozzarella cheese specification. The current replacement product is unfortunately low on taste/flavor and its texture honestly resembles chewing gum. Whether you choose a slice, pie or calzone...the mozzarella change has unfortunately dropped Guido's from my regular restaurant rotations. The staff was attentive and nice. The pizza dough was outstanding. Best practice: While our pizza had 3 different toppings, we were charged 1 meat topping and 1/2 additional topping. I really like that they charged VERY fair in the toppings. read more

Not impressed with this place. We ordered over $300 in pizza, wings and garlic bread for a wedding reception. They would not deliver so we had to pick up. I asked if they would give us a discount with ordering so much food. I was told they do not have any discounts or deals for big orders. After I ordered then I was told there would be a 20% gratuity on the order. The gratuity came to over $60. A gratuity is an earned tip. They did not do anything for us. We picked it up. They did not have to wait on us and they did not have to clean up after us. We were also told there would be a 3% charge to put it on a credit card. We stayed just two miles away. By the time we picked it up and got to our Airbnb all the food was cold. I would not order from this place again. SO DISAPPOINTING for a wedding rehearsal. read more

We came in for our first time. Plenty of parking. Chill environment. Friendly service. We ordered a few items to share. The Greek salad, Chicken Parm sandwich, carrots, and buffalo wings. We ordered a bit too much. The chicken parm sandwich was my favorite. The wings were number two. Next time we may get a pizza. We left full and happy. The wings were fantastic--crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. Easily some of the best wings I've had in a while. Everyone else at the table ordered pizza, and I got to try a slice or two. If you're into super cheesy, chain-style pizza like Domino's, this might not be your exact style. But if you appreciate quality ingredients, a well-made dough, and thoughtfully balanced flavors, then you'll really enjoy what they're doing here. The crust had a nice bite to it, and the cheese and toppings tasted fresh and well-prepared. The service was excellent--our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without hovering. The restaurant itself was very clean and had a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Overall, a solid spot for anyone looking for good wings, creative appetizers, and high-quality pizza. This place is a great find if you're around the Genesse Park Area. They have really good pizza, good portions and best part is the price per slice is very reasonable. Esp. in today's inflated world. I got the simple pep slice (two of them) with a water. Slices were big and the two filled me right up. Service was great and quick esp. since I needed to head back to work. read more

After living in Evergreen for 5 years we finally got to Guidos. I'm embarrassed we didn't make it here sooner. Everything feels east coast and was well done. 4.5 stars We moved nearby recently and this place is really close ( less than 1 mi) , so was hoping it was good and it didn't disappoint. We had a large half veggie, half pepperoni, and the meat eaters and vegetarians alike enjoyed. Very tasty New York style pizza. I got a side of the chicken wings, and as a native Buffalonian am pretty picky with wings but these were meaty and flavorful. Minus a half star for there being no bleu cheese (or even ranch). Local option pizza that is probably better than what we had; we ordered a pepperoni pie and the pepperoni was large, oddly cut and tasted more like a store-bought salami. I imagine a simple Margherita or even plain cheese will do the job. Picked up at the dining room, which was clean and inviting. Considering the pandemic currently happening, it is extremely hard to find new places effectively. Luckily, Guido's is right next to Genesee's BBQ spot. I've had my eye on this for a while and I'm happy to finally write a review on it. My wife and I ordered a meat combo pizza and an order of six wings. Onto the food! Now, the pizza was pretty damn good. There's an even distribution of sauce, cheese and meat. This is unlike other pizza spots where they douse their pizza in one of those three. The crust is light and fluffy, rather than crunchy. My wife personally loved this, but I'm more of a burnt crunchy guy myself. The star of my review has to go to the wings. For some reason these wings were absolutely amazing. They look bland at first, but with each bite came happiness. Crispy and juicy until the very end. They also have a quite a kick to them! Overall, Guidos was an excellent find. Good food for a good price. I'm excited to try more things on the menu!Worth the take out and stay safe! read more

We have loved Guido's pizza for at least 20 years. New owners, probably at least 3 years!, have expanded and made it even better. It is a pleasure to eat there and the pizza is always delicious, as are the Greek salad and meatball sub. The food was amazing as ever actually better than I've had it, but we came in on Easter where their Easter hours literally wrote closed 8:30 pm (Easter hours) and their open sign had not been turned off yet, they were flipping chairs so we knew we probably wouldn't get to sit down. when we pulled in at 8 we thought nothing would be wrong, boy were we wrong. We get into the restaurant and some old lady tells us we have to order to go, we had No problem with that, but our fries come out 3 minutes after we order to sit on the pizza oven, to get soggy as we have to wait another 15 minutes for a pizza. and when we asked to eat our fries as we waited for the pizza they said no and tried to take them to the back. So we didn't make a mess I guess? But who makes fries 15 minutes before the pizza goes in? I've worked in restaurants all my life, this place actually seems like it would be better than ever if we didn't have to eat our fries and finish them 10 minutes before our pizza even came out. Plus we got our pizza at 8:19 pm while there were multiple other ppl still ordering.and yet we finished our fries outside because why would they make our fries first? they would be cold if we didn't take them outside to eat them first. and they were so mad that we want to eat our fries. BUT WHO MAKES FRIES 15 minutes before a pizza comes out? that's actually nuts. Other than this I'd probably give it 5 stars. read more

We are here in CO for a wedding and having just rolled into town found out the wedding party had no plans for out of town guests to be fed. So we were going to a BBQ joint next door to Guido's, took one wiff of the delicious smell of pizza wafting out the door, and bam, plans changed. Now it's pizza time. Friendly staff greeted us at the door and we had a couple of delicious pies. They hit the spot after a 8 hour drive for sure. Sausage tasted homemade and the crust was perfect.
