Is it the best corn dog I've ever had? No. Does it get the job done and satisfy the craving? Totally. Hot dog, batter, & deep fried goodness. We stop here now and again on our Disney outings. I prefer the places inside the park, but this one is also a decent alternative. The people working have always been friendly. It takes a minute, but it's consistently fresh. The regular corn dog is huge. I don't remember the last time I finished one on my own.
I keep hoping this place would be good with all their new innovative ideas but it's regrettable every time. First time we had tried the jalapeño popper one, it was very corn meal tasting and because of that you can taste the oils. Made me feel sick. A few weeks later, we tried the elote corn dog. We were excited because we love elote and usually can't go wrong with it! But it was not good. We had asked which to try and the girl suggested this one said it was her favorite. It was soggy.. and not good. Service we spent a good minture talking to the girl but there was no instructions on how to get the food. My boyfriend waited and looked at her thinking she would be like "oh sir here is your corn dog" but didn't. He waited in line again and then when he was up they made him feel dumb for waiting in line again when he dog was just sitting there. First, there was no instructions. Second, you didn't call out our number. The servers seemed more into their gossip than providing customer service. For the price and the product not really worth it. I think we gave it enough tries. We might as well just get the corn dogs in the park which is more worth it. Ambiance is good for people watching, but no tables and chairs. Only bench sitting, which we don't mind.
Tried the Mexican Street Corn Dog from Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs & it was SO good. First of all, it's huge!! We ended up sharing it & it was more than enough. The flavor was amazing especially if you love Mexican street corn or esquites. It had that perfect mix of creamy, cheesey & spicy. Just a heads up, it is pretty spicy. I loved it but my husband likes spicy a little less than I do & he definitely needed a drink right away Also, you can use your Disneyland pass for a discount which was a nice bonus! Overall, I'd definitely get it again. If you love bold flavors & a little heat this is a must-try.
The Little Red Wagon inside Disneyland on Main Street is where I used to purchase the Classic Corn Dogs. The second place was at Corn Dog Castle at Disney California Adventure Park. I've now found a third spot and it was at this little stall called Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs at Downtown Disney. They are located near the Lego Store. It took much longer than what I remember to fry up some Corn Dogs but it sure was delicious - especially shared with my other foodie friends. Not bad for under $12, which comes with a bag of chips. The Corn Dogs are almost as good as the ones inside the park but this ones makes up for not having to buy a ticket to one of the parks. Score!

Sounds like a county fair treat, but the crunchy panko takes this to the next crunchy level. Its not cheap, but what at Disneyland is. The peanut butter isn't a must, but I used it all.
Me and my boyfriend decided to try the pickle corn dog. It's a fun concept that's going viral right now so we thought we'd give it a try. Service was kind of slow when we were trying to order, cos we didn't really know where the line started. But the guy that took our order was helpful. When we got our pickle corn dog it was freshly made, so the guy did warn it is hot and to wait a bit to eat it. Our experience from eating it, it was rather difficult to bite. The first bite we just got batter and pickle. As we kept eating, same thing because the hotdog kept slipping out. And when we tried adding the peanut butter sauce we had no success of "dipping" and had to use a spoon or our fingers, so it got messy. After we got "a whole bite of the batter, pickle, and hotdog" it was delicious. After a while, the taste gets overwhelming. But as a foodie, it's worth a try. There are a lot of people around as this is a food cart in Downtown Disney. There aren't really tables or chairs, so you just gotta find a place to sit around the area.

Disney foodies know it's one of the staples at the park and Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs's location in Downtown Disney is one of my favorite spots to grab a bite to eat! If you've never had a classic corn dog at Disneyland, you should. But dare I say you should go to Red Wagon on Main Street in Disneyland for that...I'm a Disney purist, what can I say? :) I think theirs are a smidge better than here, however Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs in Downtown Disneyland has its own special pixie magic with special non-standard types of deep fried dogs. Each corn dog comes with a bag of chips and they even have a hot dog wrapped in a pickle than a corny outside if you're feeling daring. I tried their speciality corn dog of the moment - the Meatball Corndog! It's not as bizzare and beastly as it sounds, promise. It was actually incredibly rich and delicious full of meat and flavor. Plus, it was like a full meal, I felt totally full from it. Love the marinara dipping sauce they include - perfect touch. $15 well spent y'all. Who doesn't love a corn dog at Disneyland!?

So bland + not enough bacon bits + and the corn dog batter was just too thick! literally tried to eat just the pepper to not have all my money go to waste. Def can use some improvements .

The booth is located near the end of downtown Disney, around the Lego store. When we went in the morning, there were already people ordering. If there's a lot of people, expect a wait because everything is deep-fried fresh. I ordered the Pickle Corn Dog which is exactly what it sounds like. A hot dog is stuffed inside one of the giant Disneyland pickles, dipped in batter and panko, and deep fried. What comes out is this delicious mix of savory and tangy flavors. The pickle retains it's crunch and the batter doesn't get soggy from all the liquid in the pickle. The only problem is that the deep-fried batter doesn't stick onto the pickle so as you eat, it'll slide around a lot. Pro-tip: order a side of the garlic sauce to enjoy with your corn dogs! Each order also comes with either a bag of chips.

Only negative is that it slipped right off the stick during the first bite, but I think eating it with a fork and knife is better anyway. The peanut butter sauce surprisingly goes very well with it, but the spicy mayo is good too! Service was quick, it's just a stand in downtown Disney. I wish there were tables you could sit at to enjoy your food though.

The corn dog comes with a side of peanut butter, which I felt like didn't any anything special. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good enough for it to be paired together. The actual pickle corn dog was a dream. I like pickles so the flavor combination was amazing. I would probably pair this with mustard. It's super fresh as they fry them in front of you. As a result, the wait time was about 15 min. I waited alongside ~10 other folks waiting for their orders. They have limited seating available so be prepared to stand or head to the local food hall to get a table. At $15.50, this felt pricy but maybe normal for Disney food. It came with a bag of chips.
Best dessert OAT. Located in a small and cute cart next to the lego store in Downtown Disney, this new menu item is a MUST. Service is always quick and outstanding, I expect nothing less. Deep Fried Hawaiian Rolls, whoever thought of this needs a raise ASAP. read more
Was craving a sweet treat on the way out of the park and decided to give the Deep Fried Kings Hawaiian Roll at Blue Ribbon Corn Dog a try to see if they're worth the online hype. I love that they're open late, we came at around 10:45 and there wasn't a wait. These were exactly how they sound, deep fried bread with cinnamon roll and condensed milk. Located at downtown Disney! They do $10 for parking at downtown and unfortunately blue ribbon corndog does not validate. Validation gives you an extra 3-5 hours for $10. Tried out the pickle corndog and it came with peanut butter, which was a little strange but it was actually good with the pickle! It does cost pretty penny running at $16.50 plus tax. The breading is really good, and the pickle is hot and juicy! However my only criticism is the hotdog is too skinny! Was not well balanced. I think this would've been great with cheese as well. read more

I've heard a lot about this place located in downtown Disney. I was impressed with the hot dog that is a pickle dog and corn dog mix with peanut butter on the side. It was a great combination and the next time I will try the jalopeno one. A little overpriced but it is a theme park and would rather have another side than a Laus potato chips. Overall I would come back again. read more

Tried Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs at Downtown Disney and it was a solid stop. I ordered two corn dogs: the pickle corn dog and the Golden Dragon. The pickle corn dog is definitely unique. Crispy, golden batter with a tangy pickle inside gives that sweet and sour contrast. Not something I'd get every time, but it's fun and worth trying at least once. The Golden Dragon corn dog was the standout for me. Super flavorful, nicely fried, and more balanced overall. It felt more savory and satisfying compared to the pickle dog. I also got a side of peanut butter, which surprisingly works well for dipping and adds a rich, slightly sweet contrast. Great snack option while walking around Downtown Disney. Prices and wait times can be a bit high during busy hours, which is the only thing holding it back from 5 stars. Still, a fun and tasty stop if you're in the area. read more

Very fast when we ordered. But a bit of a wait since they are frying the corndog. We tried the golden corndog which came with sweet chili and spicy Mayo sauce on the side along with lays potato chips. If you want ketchup, mustard, and napkins they have it out on the side to grab. It was good and hot. I give it a 7/10. I like the original better. read more
You just need to ride the monorail from Disneyland to downtown Disney, and the moment you get off corn dog stand is one of the first carts you see! $15 for the pickle dog is kind of a hefty price but it's definitely an experience. Definitely cool because the moment you went down on it, the pickle is so hot that the juices get everywhere it burns you. I thought it was perfectly fried and the outside reminded me more of a Korean dog than a corn dog, which i preferred. They gave it to us with peanut butter, which was strange and I did not like it but overall was a 7.6 out of 10! Props to the employees for frying them in the hot cali weather tho read more

Great corn dogs made to order. They are located between the Disneyland Hotel and Downtown Disney. I was excited to try the pickle corn dog. I did NOT try the peanut butter/peanut sauce. The pickle wasn't mushy, which was nice, but when it comes to pickles, I like a bit more salty, sour taste. The pickle didn't have that specific taste. The outer coating was tasty. The regular corn dog was also good. No disappointments here. Try them all! read more

Tried the peanut butter pickle corn dog and honestly it was sooo good. The taste was rich and a little salty but the peanut butter helps mellow that out surprisingly well! Service was great and food came out hot and quick. Overall was an enjoyable experience and vibe, would return! :) read more

We had heard about this place and wanted to try the pickle corn dog. It takes about 8-10 minutes and is made fresh to order. Warning for those with peanut allergies. It comes with a side of peanut butter for some reason. We have allergies so we did not try it with that. The crust is very thick and falls apart shortly after taking a few bites. Grab napkins because grease will drip out from the bottom. The server was nice. This stand is right by the lego store. read more
Always a magical experience to walk through downtown Disney. Love that I could take advantage of joining something that generally you can only get inside the park. The dragging dog with the spicy Sriracha mayo was massive and delicious. There was quite a line, but I think I was able to get my food in about 10 minutes. read more

Worth it! Came here for the Mexican street corn corndog and was a delight! Perfectly cooked and the spicy mayo was just right, would recommend and will be back for more for sure, only 10/12 min wait and they validated our parking read more
Coming to Downtown Disney is always a vibe at night. To start our walk my son requested their corndog so we decided try them and ordered the kids size because the regular one was huge. They do make them to order which is nice however, it was extremely oily inside and outside. The hotdog inside was nasty. It had a very off putting taste. Price was decent for the location, it was $11+ for the kid size corndog. (See pic for reference). read more
Delicious corn dogs! Tried the elote dog and the toppings worked so good on fried batter and hot dog. My one complaint is that it was a bit undercooked (batter was soggy inside) but overall pretty good. I like the variety of flavors and items they have to and will be back to try the pickle dog! read more

With all the hype, I decided to make a pit stop here to try the pickle corn dog and I had high expectations. Unfortunately those expectations were not met. The outside is crunchy, but then the picks is soggy, warm and a bit bitter. The peanut butter, hotdog and pickle does not go together. I couldn't even finish this. read more
I was really looking forward to trying the pickle dog when I heard about it. It turned out that the concept was better than the actual product. I will say you get a lot for your money. The size of the pickle dog is quite large and can easily be shared by 2 people unless you are starving. The panko coating has a light sweet taste I enjoyed and was nice and crunchy but a bit messy. I just felt like the pickle just overwhelmed everything else although the peanut butter sort of balanced things out so it wasn't quite so salty. My kids enjoyed the jalapeño popper so maybe I'll give that a shot next time I go. I should have stuck with the traditional corn dog that I'm familiar with. Unless you're the only person there, be prepared to wait for your food. We had about 4 or 5 orders ahead of us and wound up waiting about 20-25 minutes until they called our number. Well, at least I got to try the pickle dog. I was hoping for something scrumptious but came up empty handed this time. The quest continues. read more
My friend ordered the pickle dog a few years back and I loved it, so of course I HAD to order one for myself the next time I went to Disney! Since this is a kiosk, there aren't many spots to sit. Also everything is made to order so like other reviewers have said, wait times can vary depending on how busy it is. Thankfully my husband and I beat the line so we were able to get our pickle dogs in about 10-15 minutes. The employees at the stand were friendly, transparent with wait times, and efficient with cooking orders. The pickle dog was just as good as I remember it! Savory, salty, crunchy, chewy. I never tried it with the peanut butter (I just thought it was weird?) but after reading reviews I might have to try it next time. Instead I ate it with ketchup! I agree that it's a bit difficult to eat the pickle dog without a table/utensils since it's so large and a bit messy. We ended up walking to the park area in Downtown Disney and were able to snag a table so we could use a knife to cut it up. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back! read more

One of the many food stalls in DT Disney. Appreciate that they show the different items to help you make a selection. Golden Dragon: Panko crusted with siracha mayo and Thai chili dressing. Essentially a regular hot dog with panko with dipping sauces. I like the crunch factor. Kid Dog (smaller version of the classic): Overall, I wish the batter was more bready and had more of a corn flavor. There was a period of my life where I'd constantly be going to Downtown Disney and this was when I was reincorporating Poke'mon Go into my life. I never really stopped by this place until a visiting friend wanted to try the Pickle Dog. In combination with the rise of social media aka TikTok mostly this place has gotten the attention of the masses for not only their Pickle Dog but also their Jalapeno Popper Dog (massive chile relleno stuffed with cream cheese, deep fried with breading, all served on a stick). I understand that it was a busy night, but please don't tell people it's going to take 10 minutes when it's going to take over half an hour. I feel like in that time period my friend and I could have went into a shop or something instead of being part of a mass of people waiting for our number to be called. I think it would also benefit them to either halt the orders for a bit or do some kind of text to pick up system since all of their menu items are made to order so it DOES take some time to process all of them as this is a smaller cart and not the same size as the Little Red Wagon in Disneyland nor an actual kiosk or restaurant. As for the Pickle Dog, with Disney prices even with the discount it was around $13. Pretty big portion. Came out fresh and piping hot with a side of Lays potato chips and peanut butter to dip it in (creaminess to balance out the sourness of the pickle). I preferred it without the peanut butter but it's interesting to try at least once. Not sure if it was because the corn dog came out piping hot and we just dove into it or if it's just the nature of a slippery pickle itself but it fell apart completely and was super messy by the time we ate 1/3 of our way into it. Been hearing about this infamous pickle corn dog and finally made the drive out to visit DTD. There was a little line but it went fast. The wait was about 10 minutes. Not bad at all. The pickle corn dog came with a side of peanut butter. It was okay. I prefer mustard. I had to use a knife and cut it to pieces because it was huge! IMO, this was good and it cured my craving. The only thing I didn't care much for, is the texture of the pickle being half cooked. For me, this is something I'd try once. I'd stick with the regular corn dog. read more

I wish it had more filling or maybe a spicy sauce to go with it but overall, Job well done. Mad props to the employees, because frying up in the summer heat is no joke.
