We ordered an egg nog latte and a hot chocolate. Absolutely loved both! I ended up seeking out a location closer to where we were staying the next day because I couldn't stop thinking about how good the egg nog latte was. I only wish we had more time in this town, so I could've tried one of everything off the menu! I travel often, so I feel qualified to say this is one of the best coffee shops I've been to.

It's a cute little hole in the wall - I like the fresh flowers and the little window seat that's perfect for people watching. The bakery items all looked delicious and we wanted them all. We ordered cinnamon bun and had it warmed. I ordered one of the specialty drinks (The Jolene) and my friends wanted just black coffee. They did not have any fresh coffee so they offered her espresso with water, and said they could bring the half and half out for her to add herself. The cinnamon bun was mouth watering and delicious. My friend and I both felt that our coffee wasn't very flavorful, and almost watered down. I would definitely try it again if ever in town, especially for the bakery items!

Well it definitely was butt-cold out when we visited Grumpy Old Men Brewing, but luckily it was warm inside, and there was indeed plenty of beer! We happened to come across The brewery passing through Blue Ridge on Thanksgiving weekend. They place was packed and bustling, with a raucous holiday spirit, made even more fun with a performance by the Appalachian St Andrew's Pipes and Drum band. Service was great, beers were terrific . No grumpiness found on this day!
