The Campground is amazing. We had a site that backed up to the river (site 49). The views were amazing and peaceful. Walking along the river was wonderful. Our dog loved playing in the river. The grounds and sites are very well kept and the facilities are very clean and well maintained. The Staff is amazing. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. We were there over the 4th of July holiday and the staff went above and beyond for all of the campers and kids. Our site was level and was Full Hook up. We had a KOA Patio and we used it every night. This was our first experience staying in an RV park and it set the bar very, very high! We've loved visiting the Blue Ridge area for years and usually rent a house/cabin when we're there. This time, some family members were joining us on our vacation (their first time in Blue Ridge!) and since they have a large motorhome, we thought it would be more convenient if we stayed nearby. Since the Blue Ridge Toccoa River KOA offers cabins as well as RV and tent camping sites, we booked one of the dog friendly cabins for our week-long stay. Having had mixed experiences renting cabins through the local rental agencies, I wasn't sure what to expect, but from the moment we walked into the office to check in and during our short drive across the park to the cabin, I started to think we would be quite happy with our choice. First, some info on the location itself: - opened in/around 2020, so fairly new - situated directly on the Toccoa River - RV, tent and cabin options with some RV sites being paved and some graveled - very pet friendly, with a dog park available to all dogs and some RV sites having their own small dog park - play areas for children, a pool, showers and laundry facilities on site - just a couple of miles from downtown Blue Ridge and about a mile from a grocery store The location is in pristine condition. Beautifully maintained, it still looks like it just opened yesterday. All the staff that we encountered were friendly and helpful and it's obvious that they take pride in their business and in providing excellent (and proactive) customer service. Here's a great example - during the middle of the week, we were in downtown Blue Ridge for lunch with our family and they got a call from the staff. It was a windy day and they had their canopy out at their RV. The staff noticed that, went to the RV to see if they were inside and, getting no answer, called them to alert them. Our family members, being long-time RVers, were quite impressed that the staff took that extra step. Fortunately, they have a canopy that's flexible so didn't need to rush back. The cabin we rented was on the river and afforded us a wonderful view. The cabins aren't large (think "tiny house") but ours was sparkling clean and had everything we could want. The staff had supplied kitchen towels, soap, sponge, paper towels, plates, cups and plastic utensils, along with a starter set of coffee. Since we're used to rental cabins, we always bring our own lates/cups/utensils and coffee, creamer, filters, etc. There were some basic pots and pans, a toaster, a microwave, full sized oven/stove and fridge. Two rocking chairs, a side table and very nice (and very clean!) Weber grill complete the front porch. As weather can vary wildly in the mountains during the spring, we used the heat AND the air settings on the two units in the cabin on different days. The units are wall mounted in the main bedroom and main living area and both worked well to keep us comfortable. This was a terrific first experience for us and we'll be back. read more

KOA RV Parks all are fairly standard which takes some of the guesswork out of booking in advance. But they are sometimes more expensive than the standard RV a park. This is a moderately small RV park with either regular or upgrade type sites-the only difference being somewhat of a view and a fire pit. There is a convenience store with snacks, RV supplies, cute items and some basic items. It would be handy being able to stop in for these items. They also sell propane which is really nice. There was a pool but I don't think it was open because of winter. This KOA RV Park only allows a 14 days stay to allow more guests to visit the area. read more

What a beautiful new campground this is! It opened Sept 2020. The staff members are sooo helpful and have lots of events for the whole family on the weekends. Full hookups, fire rings and sites with SPACE between other RVs. There is a river you can fish in, free wifi, outdoor swimming pool, playground, laundry room, daily trash pickup, and even a pet park. 94 RV sites and 6 sweet cabins to rent. So close to great hiking, shopping, water sports with a huge lake nearby, and a MUST DO is the Blue Ridge Train! Can't wait to come back! read more

I'm going 4.335 Great check in experience, service and so clean!!! The bathhouses are so nice new fresh and clean! If you don't have a camper they have adorable little houses for a great price, super hidden gem - if I didn't have a camper, I'd never think ...let's stay at an RV park! Follow directions listed on their web. Open spaces but very little shade- we are back in the fall so let's see what happens! I wish there was a way to take better advantage of the river, tubes or fishing poles, even some better river entry places....younger kids will be entertained, but my pre/teens were 'bored'. Dogs were happy in their little dog area... Store was stocked, help with sightseeing/ poor blue ridge is so short staffed from no one working the summer season is suffering restaurants. A tic fell on my head so I was freaked out the whole time! read more

New, clean and located close to Blue Ridge. We have been here twice now and love rving at this KOA. First, reservations are easy to make on the app, online or on the phone. Second, the staff is friendly, caring and kind. We were treated kindly and helped as needed. We had a back in river side access pads both times we visited and highly recommend them as it is easy to go fishing from your RV site. Full hookups for all sites except tent ones. I believe 5 total cabins of varying accommodations. Pool during warmer months. Horse shoe pits. Heated water spigots on many sites. Level sites for all even gravel ones. Highly recommend if you are wanting to camp or RV in blue ridge. We will be back! read more

This is a newly opened campground in Blue Ridge, GA. Very clean cabins and restrooms and laundry area is very neat. I was welcomed by such a friendly staffs and they worked very professionally. Lastly, this place is so close to the downtown Blue Ridge where you can walk & shop with great local atmosphere. I also enjoyed my visit to Mercier orchard which was within 10 min drive from the campground. The best apple pie ever! read more

Great place to camp for a weekend or shorter stay. We camped 7/15/21 in a 5th wheel on a pull through lot. This is a brand new location with freshly paved roads and several variations of sites from gravel, paved and tent. The amenities are clean but the bath houses are smaller with only a few showers and toilets. There are also garbage and laundry areas if you need then. The playground is small for kids and the pool is on the smaller side as well for the number of sites. There is a nice river you can walk into or fish off the dock...they also have a kayak/tube entrance....lastly there is a small dog park but we didn't use it. The office is great with lots of stacks fire wood or RV needs. They also have a great texting system for any needs. They also do activities like scavenger hunts and even has a food truck on Fridays. WiFi was awesome here. I was able to do video calls. It's 9 minutes from downtown blue ridge and I highly recommend the Train ride. Overall great place with not a "ton" to do but great for a quick family trip. read more

Blueridge Taccoa KOA is absolutely fabulous, the staff is so accommodating and friendly. The premises is immaculate, and they offer all types of activities and amenities. This is our absolute campground in North Georgia by far. read more

Cleanest KOA I have ever been to. Friendly and efficient staff. Bathrooms are over the top clean. Will definitely recommend and come back as we live not too far from here. Location is perfect for all you want to do including hiking, antique shopping , wineries, craft brew places, restaurants galore, taking in the gorgeous views and lots of cool towns near by (Hiawassee, Helen, Elijay). We drove 2 hours to check this campground out. we stopped and went in to the office to make sure we could either drive through or walk through in order to look at sites for future camping trips. The manager at the desk would not let us even walk through the campground. She said on weekdays they allow that but not on weekends. I explained we had driven 2 hours but she was rude and would not even consider allowing us to.She said we could look from the sidewalk at the office. You cannot see sites from there. This is very bad customer relations!! If you cannot look at sites it is hard to know if you want to camp somewhere. read more

I will never stay at this KOA again. Upon check-in the office staff was very rude. The cabin we stayed in was very cute and clean so I appreciate that. Park itself is very nice on the river. During our stay the staff continued to be rude including the men that ride around on golf carts dictating all of their rules all weekend long. I got reprimanded for laughing too loud one night while we were watching a football game. Upon check out the next day I got a call from the office accusing me of having a dog in the cabin that was not a pet friendly cabin. I did not have a dog but the fact that they accused me of having one and was planning to charge me for it was absolutely ridiculous. And of course they did not take my word for it I told them to check their cameras and prove to me that I had a dog which I didn't. So I caution you to stay there in the future you might have a similar negative experience as we did. I will never stay there again. There are much more relaxed campgrounds that are just as nice in the Blue Ridge area. read more
