I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was too bad not to share. I came in as a bride with my mom, godmother (who is on crutches), and two bridesmaids, expecting a fun and memorable appointment. Instead, we were immediately met with a harsh and inflexible attitude from our sales associate, Bea. She insisted they could "absolutely not" accommodate more than three guests plus the bride and handled the situation with zero empathy. She also claimed this policy was clearly outlined in multiple emails and signage. That is simply false. I reviewed all of my confirmation and reminder emails--there is no mention of a guest limit anywhere. The way she treated my family was honestly shocking. She upset my godmother to the point of tears and was so rude and dismissive to my mom that she felt uncomfortable enough to leave the store. That alone made the experience heartbreaking. To make matters worse, the professionalism was not there. Bea was dressed in a way that felt unprofessional and completely inappropriate for a bridal boutique, with her midriff fully exposed, which added to the overall uncomfortable vibe. This should have been a special, once-in-a-lifetime kind of experience, and instead it was stressful, awkward, and upsetting. I would strongly discourage other brides from booking here. read more

While I didn't end up with any dresses from here, I was very impressed by the service here. Giselle was very professional and understood my needs. It wasn't overwhelming at all to browse through the dresses because they all came with reference photos. Appointments are free and I had the entire place to myself. This was the first place I tried on wedding dresses and the best place out of all those I tried on. The staff was friendly, the setting intimate and the advice priceless. I ended up purchasing from another shop that pier pressured me into buying something that was not my dress. This place does no such thing, they take their time, encourage you to think on what you liked and didn't like and come back (of course letting you know someone else could always come in and like the dress you did since it is secondhand) but also provided great advice. "Try on lots of different things .... For 2 years I was trying to sell my wedding dress through Poshmark and Stillwhite but no luck. I then tried to consign locally. The nearest store would not accept the brand of my dress because they didn't agree with the brand's practices, which I respect but wasn't aware so that was unfortunate. They listed Blue Sky Bridal as another consignment store. Although I'm not local to any Blue Sky Bridal locations, I submitted the online form to see if they would accept my dress. After 2-3 weeks, they got back to me agreeing to accept my dress at their Seattle location, I just needed to pay for and coordinate shipping. I did have questions about how they price the dresses, and I would recommend calling for a faster response. I shipped my dress in December, they confirmed receipt during the holidays and it was sold in a month! I was very happy to hear it was going to a bride for a second chance down the aisle. Definitely recommend selling your dress to Blue Sky Bridal even if you're not local! read more

Had a great experience here for my first dress appointment. Molly was AWESOME. She was able to quickly transform my theoretical wishlist into a concrete list of styles and details that I was looking for in a wedding dress. I feel like she gave me a bridal dress 101 - I walked away with an entirely new vocabulary and a succinct goal for my second appointment. I ultimately found a dress at another store that the shop referred me too, but the service here was so good that I almost feel guilty for buying somewhere else. I live in Hawaii and needed a wedding dress. But because Hawaii is so far away from the continental US and it is a tiny state compared to others, I knew that finding a wedding dress was going to be difficult. So I traveled to Seattle to visit some friends, but also made a point to look for wedding dresses while I was there. I found Blue Sky Bridal on Yelp and thought it would be a good starting place. I met with Cass for 1 hour and from the get to, Cass was so nice and friendly. Wedding dress shopping is super daunting and Cass was so good at being friendly without being awkward. I was able to try on a variety of dresses and Cass listened and reassured me every step of the way. It was such a pleasant experience and even though I wasn't able to find "the one", I really really enjoyed my experience here. So Blue Sky Bridal has mostly sample dresses that larger wedding dress places want to get rid of for whatever reason. Even though they may be considered "out of season", the dresses are still within a few years old and Blue Sky Bridal has pretty high standards so worn out dresses are not sold. The dresses I tried on had never been worn before and were in the $700-$1000 range. If you're in the market for a wedding dress Blue Sky Bridal is great! I highly recommend them and Cass. I found a dress here that I liked, but wanted to keep looking. I'm very happy with my experience here even though I didn't end up getting the dress I liked. Cass even gave me the names of a few other wedding dress stores in the area. So nice! read more

I said yes to the dress at Blue Sky Bridal! This was my second stop for dress shopping and I couldnt be any happier. Mikaela was so sweet and asked so many questions to help me find the dress i was looking for. She knew I had been to a fitting before and was super helpful with the process. When i arrived, my favorite band, The 1975 was playing in the background. A little disappointed that it wasnt blasting during my fitting, but loved that it was playing as i said yes. Mikaela asked what type of dress i was aiming to get, i told her my specifics and she pointed me out to two racks. I am to only pick up to 5 dresses to try on. When i tried them all on, i wasnt feeling the way i felt at my first stop. Each time i said i didnt like it, Mikaela asked the two things: why i didnt like it and what i wished wouldve been better about it. After that conclusion, she took a minute and pulled one last dress for me to try on. I tried it on and i was shaken by how beautiful it looked on me. She put on the veil and i immediately KNEW it was the one. Thank you Mikaela for your help on my fitting! Notes: book an appointment online a month ahead. When i booked my appointment on a Saturday, a bunch of times were already booked up. You have to pay $75 for a fitting fee. If you pick a dress here, the $75 will go towards your dress purchase. You can also pick your music for your appointment. They do not tailor your dress here, however, they will send you a list of recommended list of tailors for you to choose. read more

I actually got my wedding dress from them in late July, but I didn't want to post a review with pictures until after my wedding day had past. I made an appointment, and was seen by Cass. She was kind, warm, and made excellent selections for me. She chose amazing styles and it was hard to nail it down to one dress. I didn't need more than an hour to find my dress. I made a deposit the same day to hold the dress to be sure I wanted it. They gave me the dress bag and they gave me detailed instructions on how to care for it upcoming the wedding as well as how to proceed in caring for it afterwards. Who needs David's Bridal when we have Blue Sky? Every dress was unique and the selection was fantastic. So was the price-they had an excellent range of prices, including many styles under $1,000. I had an appointment with Giselle during one of the bridal sales in September 2024. The store was small, but the space felt very intimate. My two friends and I had a section to ourselves with a "try-on" station and a couch. I ended up letting Giselle pick out dresses from their selection for me to try-on, since I felt a little overwhelmed by the idea of dress shopping. I had a brought a few reference ideas, and I gave her my budget. I ended up loving the first dress she brought out that was a sample dress. My sister was wedding dress shopping for an event a couple months away. My Mom and I are in town to help her. We started with the standard David's Bridal visit just to narrow our search down. We made an appointment a couple of weeks ago, we were a smidge early and they have a policy of not having you in until your appointment time, so we had to walk around the quaint little neighborhood. Blue Sky was a good experience! I bought both my dress and veil here. One thing I would go back and change. My dress had a busted zipper, which unfortunately cost a lot more than the $50 credit they gave me to replace. To replace a zipper on this particular satin dress cost about $150. I think for a $2400 dress, $50 off isn't much. BUT overall I'm happy with the experience and glad that I didn't pay full price for a dress I wore for only a few hours! read more

The experience, the dresses, the shop.. it was perfect!! I was terrified to shop.. I am not a fan of trying on clothes in general let alone gowns in front of an audience. I was so nervous until I met Mikaela!! She made me feel so comfortable, and beautiful. She had so many honest, gentle, and thoughtful comments and suggestions that turned me from wanting to cry and run away to having FUN trying them on. The gowns are bagged with pictures ! So helpful for consignment and then you also know they aren't getting damaged hanging on the rack like others I had been to. All staff I interacted with very friendly, and well versed with store policies and bridal info in the area. The stylists were also so EXTREMELY helpful, beyond other store experiences I had. Not only did my stylist Giselle pull a dress I wouldn't normally have pulled myself, she pulled multiple that flattered my body and truly were great options. I chose a dress she pulled for me and it was the perfect hybrid of the styles I was deciding between. I also worked with Cass for my final fitting and recommended the veil style I will choose. I've had a total of 5-6 bridal dress shopping sessions. This one was incomparable to the others. The shop was incredibly clean, dresses neatly tucked on the racks, and experience felt personalized. Blue Sky Bridal knocked my socks off! They sell former samples and dresses other brides have consigned, so the dress I purchased was already 25% off the original retail price. It also felt great and more environmentally friendly to give a slightly older dress (they take dresses from the previous three years) life rather than having it be thrown out or withering away in a closet somewhere. The ladies that run the shop know their stuff, and quickly helped me find the perfect dress! They let me pick out things I thought I'd like, asked me what I liked and didn't like about a particular dress, and made great recommendations. Mikaela pulled a dress she thought I'd like, clipped it in the back to help me see what it would look like once it was altered, and it hit me in that moment that I was going to feel so beautiful on my wedding day! I'm not sure I would have grabbed it if it wasn't for her! They also have dresses up to size 28, so my fear of being a plus-sized bride in a sample-sized world were completely alleviated! I had a very okay experience at blue sky! I did not wind up finding *the* dress here and was not shown very many options that felt in line with my style & what I was looking for. there were 3 main things about the experience I didn't love. one, I paid $75 to "book the boutique" but the boutique is so small I think I would have been equally fine with a regular consultation. I thought the boutique booking would be this huge bonus but it wound up feeling like a little bit of a waste. two is that I had to put down a 10% deposit to "hold" the one dress I did try on and like...and the hold was only 72 hours. I understand they're trying to keep the consignment items moving but this felt like a big ask. I wound up paying over $100 for a dress I ultimately decided wasn't for me. what I realized is that the dress I'd liked wasn't actually what I wanted...it was just the closest i'd come to seeing anything I liked in a big sea of "NO!" finally, it felt a little frustrating to come in with such a clear idea of what I wanted and be presented primarily with options that were the opposite of what I intended to wear. of the 8 or 9 dresses I was shown, maybe 2 of them were even remotely close to the style I was going for. I tried to give direct feedback, but didn't feel heard or understood. at one point she had me in a sparkly mermaid gown that was beaded and super frilly...all things I remember saying specifically I did not want! for my fellow disabled babes: be aware there's nowhere to sit while you're changing and no handle bars in the dressing room. I almost slipped a few times. now some upsides: I was very impressed by the cleanliness of the shop, the hygiene practices, and the masks the staff wore. for once, I wasn't the only one in a high filtration mask! the person working with me wore a N95, which was super cool and made me feel very safe. Cass (the person I worked with) was also very charming and had a really nice way about her, even if it felt unclear at times whether she was able to successfully pinpoint my style and needs. I wouldn't want to discourage anyone from checking this place out but it ultimately wasn't for me. read more

Blue Sky knocked it out of the park. To be honest, "finding the dream dress" wasn't a high priority for me, and I was mostly anxious to just check it off my list and move on to the next thing. So a week before my sis flew into town I just googled "bridal consignment shops", made some appointments and didn't think about it. Cut to June 8th. We worked with Cass and she was a total pro; efficient without being pushy or hover-y. I know what looks good on my body, so I'll admit I wondered going into this (having never done it before) if store associates would try to coax me to put things on that I knew weren't me. Not. At. All. Cass kept us on schedule, asked all of the right questions up front, and pulled off quite the magic trick at the end. The variety at Blue Sky is stunning - the first dress I tried was gorgeous and we were basically ready to pull the trigger if nothing else came close! Strong start. :) The whole process was so much fun, and after trying on 3 or 4 other beauties we still figured that first one was it until... based on one little detail (polka dots!) I happened to mention liking up front, Cass magically procured the perfect gown and that was it. I threw her my credit card, cancelled all of our other appointments, and we spent the day drinking champagne and eating fries, joyously telling passers-by that we were celebrating finding my wedding dress! They are respectful and I never felt any pressure. They help zip and clip the dress to your body but allow you to get into the dress yourself for a little more privacy.
