This nail salon couldn't have been less excited when I showed up with my family of 4 for pedicures a week ago. We chose basic pedicures for all of us, just getting ready for a lake vacay, and yet they pushed several times to each of us to upgrade. To paint my daughter's toes alternating colors was an additional charge of $7- no nail art, just straight up blue and white. The staff was not friendly to us and made our experience pretty uncomfortable. The quality of the work was very poor, in fact, my daughters repainted their toes within days due to chipping and peeling of the polish. It felt like a huge waste of money to visit somewhere that clearly didn't appreciate our business. read more

*Update* I came in 6 days ago for a gel mani/pedi. Booking online is simple and the business will send a reminder text. My pedi's always come out nice and clean. I always ask for the foot file over pumice stone because a foot file works wonders. Simple or luxurious, the pedi always hits a high note. Mani's are a whole different story. I like a gel to last long...this one didn't go even a week before i started to get chips and peeling. The lines are always crooked, and hangnails not cleaned up well. I didn't even get a topcoat. My only rec for this salon is for the pedi. Anything else.....go elsewhere..... read more

The staff is so great with both my son and daughter. Today, though, had to have been the best pedicure I have ever had! I came into blue sky spa and an effort to try some new places around the area. I was talked into upgrading my pedicure, and was expecting something great especially for the price. Honestly, I'm very disappointed in myself for allowing the quality to be so subpar and still paying for it. After my upgrade -and I wish I could remember her name so I could post it- the tech went to the back and grabbed a few packets of lotion, and brought them out. She's been rubbed the lotion on my feet for a few seconds each, and started layering them on top of each other, not even giving a proper service in between them. Before I knew it, she announced that she was done, and I felt so disappointed and quite frankly scammed. She actually ended up, handing me an extra packet of lotion and saying that I could finish putting on the product at home. The tech also made a point to ask me about my personal life asked me about what my husband and I do and asked why I have to work... I guess some of the people that go there might not have jobs or something? Overall very unprofessional and dissapointing. read more

Not the worst, not the best. I went in for a full color acrylic set. I asked for coffin shape. For being charged extra for shaping, I would've hoped that they'd actually all be coffin shaped. These were definitely closer to square, especially the thumb. The acrylic was pretty thick at the base, not just the apex. There was zero prep work past buffing the nail. My cuticles still look awful and were not pushed back at all. Overall not awful, but I probably wouldn't return. read more

I was just in to get a pedicure after getting a full knee replacement. I'm still very sore and wasn't sure I'd be able to sit comfortably for this. My nail technician, Emily, was so careful and gentle with my operated leg. She was just amazing, my toenails look great, and my legs and feet are super soft. She even helped me to my car when my husband picked me up. You can't find customer service like this very often. I 100% recommend Blue Sky Nails, and I will definitely be going back. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. This was probably the worst nail experience that I have had in over 20 years. David was absolute horrible. He didn't push back my cuticles or trim my natural nails at all. He complained when I said that I wanted a shorter coffin shape. He was watching a tiktok that they had playing on the big screen while he was gluing on my nails, and was looking around when he was filing my nail, causing him to knick the skin near my nail & caused it to bleed. My nails are crooked, the design is nothing like I asked for it to be, and they overcharged me by $20 for "shellac" though when I started the whole process I made I clear that I wanted the same color on my nails as I had on my toes(which was regular polish). He buffed out my nails and the brushed them off and went into doing the polish immediately, without having me wash the nail dust off. He was also using the same tools that the tech next to him was using on her customer. There were multiple times where he was so rough with me that the customer in the chair next to me noticed. I was so upset by the time I was done that by the time I got to my car I was in tears. Such a bad experience. read more

I showed a picture of almond shaped nails and that were tips with dip. What I got isn't even close. They look thick and horrible. I spent $70 and I wish I could remove them. My glue on nails looked better. So bummed and won't go back for this service. I have been getting my nails done for years and this place was one of the worst experiences. They did an entire acrylic set in 36 minutes, which should not be possible if it is being done properly. So many steps were skipped, the process was painful, and flies were swarming me the entire time. It was far from relaxing, very rushed, and seemed unsanitary. Granted, my experience was related to just one tech, but I'd run the other way before I let anyone there ever touch my little piggies again. I generally get a pedicure every month. I was in this neighborhood when I was due for my next one and decided to go there instead of to my usual place--big mistake. I left there with 3 bloody toenails. The tech kept digging and digging, and ouch, it's a week later, and I'm still in pain. I did leave a review on the store-generated recommendation text, but there was no response. I didn't complain there; I just wanted to get the heck out. I didn't realize the severity of the damage until I got home, and my toes were too swollen to wear anything but flip-flops. My daughter and I made an appointment to have acrylic nails done at blue sky. We picked them because they are local and have some decent reviews. We won't come back. Kelly kept trying to get us to do gel polish on acrylic nails, which is ridiculous. She kept telling me that my nail polish would be chipped within three days and that just isn't true for acrylic nails. Kelly did my daughters nails, and within three days, four of the nails had popped off. I contacted the salon, and they said I would have to pay to have them redone. David did my nails and they are thick and separating from my natural nails. I'm going to have to go to someplace else to have them fixed and done right. Very disappointing experience. read more

I usually go to their Parker location (and love it), but gave this location a try as it is closer to my home Pedicure was fine. Had a regular manicure and my nails are a mess. Old nail polish was thick and gloppy. 2 hours later and my nails are still getting smudged and the polish is already peeling off. Salon was dirty/messy. I also saw the technicians simply rinsing off used tools and putting them back into their toolbox. No sanitizing effort. I I won't return. I will drive further to their Parker location. read more

been to multiple nail salons in the Parker and Aurora area for a decade and I would not recommend coming to this salon unless you want to have a painful over-priced manicure, repeatedly ask to have your nails the shape you want them, all while getting attitude back for telling the techs what you want. Kristy personally assisted me on July 22, 2021. I came in with a girlfriend and I asked for a square dip nail set that came out horrendous. The set was not sharp, bumpy, incredibly uneven, and thick. She got nail glue on my fingers as well as cut me during my manicure. I complained about how they were not even multiple times but she made me feel like I was crazy. It is only a day after and they are already wearing down. On top of that I over heard my girlfriend asking her nail tech as well if she could make her nails straight because they were too round, when she asked for square as well. These are the results of the nails I payed $60 for. I did not ask for my money back and I do not care to go back at this point because I do not want to deal with unnecessary impolite comments. read more

This place is inconsistent and has gone downhill significantly over the past 6 months. It used to be a pretty good place with nice people and quality service. Now, they barely say hello when you come in and are constantly trying to upsell you. When you don't upgrade your service, the attitude turns pretty dismissive and negative and they act like you're not worth their time and they kind of go through the motions without much else. Every once in a while you'll get someone good...make sure you ask for them in the future or you're taking a gamble. The quality of service is hit or miss and you never know when you're going to get the crummy attitude and/or mediocre service. They do tear up your cuticles and tend to generally glob on the polish so it doesn't look smooth all the time and don't get your heels smooth either. My friends have all had bad experiences at Blue Sky and won't go there anymore and now I've finally had enough too. There are so many good nail salons in the area, I wouldn't waste my money or time here. Give your hard earned money for a better service elsewhere, provided by people who appreciate you as a customer and do a good job. read more
