Food Pride is a full scale grocery store located on Warren in Midtown Detroit. It has a huge stock of products, specifically it has a great selection of fresh produce and meats, which is a common complaint that people have about grocery shopping in the city. Fruits, veggies, meats, fish are all very big parts of my diet so this made me really happy! Price-wise they are not rock-bottom or anything but they do have competitive prices and they accept manufacturer's coupons, which is great for students like me trying to save some money. Overall, it is an (unfortunately) unadvertised hidden jewel in this city that I wish more people knew about!

Is anybody going through their meats for expired items or do they just not care?
