They recognize our unique business schedule as a school and make it easy to make adjustments as needed. I like to support my community." So I go in the beginning of December 2025, and talk to Eric I believe. I inquire about a membership and he's all jolly about it and said sure, let's do it. My gut told me, something was off by his reaction. Folks. Listen to your gut. I go a few weeks later in December during the hours of operation. Door is locked, but someone is in there. After a few minutes. They begrudgingly, let me in. I get my water and go. The next time I go to the Waterhouse, its about two days after New Years. There's a sign on the door saying. "Water House is no longer available at this address. If you have any questions or need water service. Please contact Water House directly. Thank you for your cooperation. " Mind you, there is zero contact information on the sign. Luckily, I grabbed a business card the first time I went to this business. So I email them. No response. Then I text the number with my concerns. The response is that they will Zelle or Venmo the money that is owed to me. I probably got about 10 to 12 gallons in total out of my membership. They tell me that they are waiting for the Attorney records and to get back their binder with the memberships and that if I know of any locations they can relocate, to let them know. I don't know any locations. They then tell me I should get a refund within a month. I wait a month and a half and text for updates. No response the first text. 2nd Text, they tell me that they are meeting with lawyer the next day and that soon after they would send me my refund via Zelle. Since that day in February, I've reached out every month since, and NO RESPONSE. Am I salty about it. Without a doubt. I'm sure I'm not the only one that is dealing with this. It's one thing to close down a business. But to then lead me on and say I will be getting a refund soon and then just stop responding. Not cool at all.

When you get water, you provide your phone number and they ask for your last name. Somehow, a random person was able to use my phone number and get water charged to my account. I understand that mistakes can happen, but luckilythey now have a website where you can check your balance and recent transactions. Fortunately, I checked my balance this time and noticed a charge from September 6 for 7 gallons. I didn't use that water because I only get 5 gallons every time I go. The owner was very kind and helpful. She said she would check the security camera footage and refund the credit to my account. The next time I go, I'll check my balance again to make sure the credit has been returned. I'm glad they now allow customers to check their recent transactions and balance online. It's a useful feature that helps prevent situations where gallons are charged to your account without you knowing.
