After spending $800 for two separate visits, my cat started losing control her bowels and urinating all over my house. I made the painful decision to have her euthanized and called to have them do the procedure. They said I had to have an appointment first to "discuss the situation" This is no one's decision but mine. I felt like they did not respect my decision and how painful and hard it was to do. I feel that they want to collect as much money as they can. I will never go back and wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

One, I'm not Caucasian, and I know a micro aggression when I hear one, so strike one. I let it go, but it seems every time I took him to this vet, the bill would be astronomical. I have every receipt and never paid UNDER $300. They apologize and say they don't set the prices. A little less than a month ago, I took my fur baby back to this vet for an update on shots, nail trim, eye issues and an ear infection. The meds they gave didn't work, and the ear meds made it worse. The place is NEVER packed, maybe one or two patients would be there at the same time I was. They'll never get my business again. Look at patterns in these comments and the lowest stars are from people of color. Take your fur kids to ANOTHER vet. If I could give NO stars to this hospital, I absolutely would. The service is awful depending who you are, pricey and my dog means the world to me. I would never trust them again with his health.

That same night, she collapsed at home and died in our arms. The emergency clinic confirmed the cause was internal bleeding -- a known and preventable complication when proper surgical technique and post-op monitoring aren't followed. LiveWell was notified of her death the very next morning. We waited for any acknowledgment -- a call, an email, anything. There was none. Not even from the veterinarian who performed her surgery, Dr. William Tadlock. Days passed. We reached out. Still silence. The only time we ever heard from the clinic was after posting a review -- and even then, the call wasn't from Dr. Tadlock. Weeks later, we began receiving automated reminders that Lucy was "due for her annual vaccines." This, despite multiple notifications that she had passed away. I had to call and ask for her to be removed from their system. It's now been over two months, and we've still received no explanation, no accountability, and no sincere acknowledgment of what happened. I've filed a formal complaint with the Texas Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners and am pursuing further action. The fatal complication rate for spay surgeries is less than 0.2% -- about 1 death per 1,000 procedures. Lucy was a healthy young dog. This outcome is extremely rare -- and in our case, we believe entirely preventable. It warrants investigation and accountability. Dr. William Tadlock and this clinic failed Lucy catastrophically -- and failed us as her family. The lack of communication, compassion, and basic responsibility we've experienced is beyond anything I expected from a medical provider, especially one trusted with the lives of animals. Lucy wasn't "just a dog." She was part of our family. She was deeply loved. We trusted LiveWell to care for her -- and that trust cost her life. If you're considering this clinic for surgery or any procedure requiring real medical oversight, I strongly encourage you to look elsewhere. Don't risk what we lost.

this is the worst vet you could ever go to! the vet is completely judgmental and will murder your…read moredog via medication. he told us our dog was going to die without even doing blood work and gave her days to live. without blood work! i had to ask for hope and to start the test. once he returned with our dog she never walked again until she eventually died. my dog was normal besides swollen lymphnodes before seeing noah bedoya. he had someone place her on the ground upon returning from testing since, for some reason she couldn't even stand. i then noticed she was convulsing in her stomach, i asked why is she doing that and the tech ran to get the vet which then injected her with something to make it stop. mind you, she only had a ultrasound and a fine needle aspirate from her leg done so why was she even like that.. he said her platelets were low and she has lymphoma without even getting the pathology report back. placed her on a drug specifically told to me by the rep at atopica* (the medicine she was placed on) thst this medication was strickly not to be giving to dogs with cancer specifically lymphomia. when i called the vet the second time i was told by noah, the vet, that if i called again he wouldnt come to the phone. i see on google reviews he has recently killed another young ladys dog, almost the same way. this guy needs to be stripped of his license. kelly the manager refused to provide the videos from that day and said they were unavailable. my dog was hurt bad in the back and finished with medication. dont come here if you love your dog. pictured below is our beautiful dog before she went back and after she came back completely hurt. his bio says he became a vet because he felt helpless once by being told his dog was going to die.. now hes doing it to others!! hes sick!

Im not sure how long this dog had been outside but from the time I recorded to the time they got him, it was at least 30 minutes. The vet is supposed to be the best place for your dogs, freezing in this weather is cruelty. Shame on this place. She has seen both of my fur babies - Milo and Donny - throughout their life from the puppy stage through their senior years. Her approach and interaction with animals is such a joy to see. She has a wealth of knowledge and I have a high level of trust and confidence in her ability to provide the best care. She truly goes above and beyond for her clients. She is Family. The staff (past and present) is so kind and patient. Avery, Linda, Meg, Roger, Kate, Amanda, and Celeste were there at the drop of a hat to answer questions about my fur baby. We also got the chance to know Chad and Lauren. We lost Milo to bladder cancer at the age of 13 on December 3, 2015. He no longer had a quality of life, so we made the difficult decision to send him over the Rainbow Bridge. I felt like I lost a piece of me that day. Dr. Michalk's Office was so empathetic and caring. They let us spend as much time as we wanted with him. If it hadn't been for Dr. Michalk communicating with other vets, Donny would not have received the wonderful Medical care at the facilities where he was admitted. It all began with a tooth root abscess. We were referred to Dr. Donnelly at VEI Plano. He was then referred to MEDVET and then VCA Specialty Hospital where he had, as recently as Mid-March, been receiving radiation treatments which were going well until last week. He was admitted to VCA on Friday morning, May 1st for low platelets, lethargy, and lack of appetite. Upon Friday's ct scan, it showed several tumors in his abdomen, spleen, and perforations in his colon. On May 1, 2026, we made the difficult decision to send him over the Rainbow Bridge, given his rapidly deteriorating condition over the course of that day. I am heartbroken.
