We went to celebrate my brother in laws graduation from the university with our entire family and from the moment we walked in all we got was looks of like "what are these Mexicans doing here" from the entire staff. We were sat in the back to a table that could clearly fit no more than 8 people and we were a group of 11. We kept getting non welcoming looks from the bartenders and waitresses and we decided to take our money elsewhere. Avoid this place and go else where!!! read more

A couple new servers there will not fill the growlers up to within 1 inch of the top, but substantially below that. It does take more time to do it right. A growler will not keep it's carbonation as well if you don't fill it up. I don't go there anymore and hope that another brewery will open in Salina soon. read more

We recommend the pizza!! Tonight we strayed from our usual pizza and salad. We wanted to try the sandwiches and burgers. 1. Pulled Pork: dry, sauce on the side is just so so. Baked beans are runny. The bun was good, there was just too much of it for the sandwich. 2. Burger: cooked well but just not spectacular. Pasta salad has a mayo based like dressing, very creamy and rich, different, a little bit goes a long way - a few bites is enough. 3. Parmesan Cheese Fries: unusual and we liked them but wouldn't go out of our way to order again. The stars of this show are the great service and pizza. Don't forget the home brewed beers. read more

We went for lunch on Sunday (July 31) Open seating, love the interior. Rustic, exposed duct work, wood fire oven, felt very industrial big city. Had a wonderful waitress, she answered our questions and checked on us. We started with the beer battering onion rings and ranch. They are real rings dipped in the batter and fried to perfection. You can taste the beer and the ranch dressing while a thinner consistency was full of flavor. WINNER! We both chose burgers, I had the Tumbleweed -SO GOOD especially if you like a little spice and some heat (jalapeno bacon and chipotle aioli). He had a burger and chose the pasta salad for his side. He's a huge pasta fan and talked about the flavor and how it wasn't just a spoon of mayo, but a very delicious sauce, full of flavor on the penne. I think he would order a platter of it next time if it was available. WINNER Definitely looking forward to the next visit. read more

Looked for a local business to support while on our way from Texas to Colorado. After reading reviews we chose to take a shot Blue Skye Brewery & Eats. My husband is a fan of IPA's and we like to try local brewery's in the Dallas area. This seemed perfect! We were greeted by a big friendly bartender waiter, received our drinks quickly and he took our order. We went with the "make your own" pizza which was basically hand tossed right in front of us and put into a HUGE STONE wood fired oven. My husband says the "Muglers Revenge IPA" was excellent. The food was put on our table hardly 5 min after we ordered! The hand tossed crust was very good and we were pretty impressed (being the potential and highly snooty North Dallas food critic). Atmosphere at lunch on a Saturday was great, folks locals and travelers, chipper and easy going. Since we travel this way periodically we will be coming back!! Prices too good to be true! read more

This place used to be one of my favorites of not favorites. I travel a lot so I'm not here often by the literal one thing this place had that no body else does was the Rueben Egg rolls. The pizza is delicious and my husband loved his IPA. My bloody Mary was tasty but small. Our waitress was extremely busy but should write down the orders as we never got our chopped salad! On a Wednesday you would expect better service. It took forever to get our beers even before it was crowded. Our wood fired pizza was not even charred and we received no silverware, as there was none cleaned as explained to us by our waiter. The pizza is not overly large, but the ingredients are fresh, crust is perfect and the flavors are huge. Good micro brew with local beers on tap and a pleasant atmosphere make this one of my go to spots when I am in Salina. read more
