People we know have been coming here for years. I would have been here years ago but, my husband doesn't like spicy food. It was the afternoon so we went with appertizers and salad and 1 combo. My husband got the shrimp cocktail. No way traditional. Loved it . It came in a pestal like stone bowl filled to the brim with medium size shrimp in cocktail sauce perfectly spiced accompanied by sliced avacado. All for $10. That alone is worth to he visit. Nice variety of drinks. I had a seafood salad Shrimp, calamari and scallops sauted on top of salad in a fresh taco bowl. Delish . I swung by Blue Tijuana last week, the place is under new management. The new owners: Rene & Christina are absolutely lovely! The guacamole was really really good, the chicken quesadillas were GREAT and the portion was enough to be shared, they offered me some hot sauce the combination... off the charts!!! The food is atrocious, ordered the quesadilla and steak tacos and boy do I NOT recommend those menu options. 1. Quesadilla is served as three empanadas (NOT a quesadilla), the dough taste like arepa, greasy, filled with cheese and a side of guac? Lol. (Roughly $8) 2. Steak Tacos (three of them) are served with flour tortillas (NOT corn) small side of rice and beans (mediocre) and a side of guac. Not a filling meal, for $21 i thought I'd get a plate like the one you get in 5 Boro Cafe (Steak burritos, I recommend in Forest Hills) As for drinks, the mojito tasted like juice, had to order extra shots of tequila for balance. (Added a star bc I broke their shot glasses after placing one into the other, cheap glasses or don't know my own strength?? Either way, my bad!) Fast and friendly service. . That's a 5 for me automatically ! There's a full bar. I got the mango margarita(frozen) which had a good amount of alcohol in it. It's made with real mangoes. I loved it ! Maybe 2 would have me on the floor but I'm light weight. My sister got the vegetarian platter and I got the chimichanga. There were both very flavorful and delicious. Our CC bill revealed they kept the cash we used for half of the bill and charged our card the full amount. Delivery not very good I ordered steak fajitas only for delivery. I paid 20% tip and my total bill was $32.08. I know it's NY but that seemed ridiculously high especially for the quality. It arrived at my hotel with about a cup of fajita juice on the bottom of the bag which dripped all over the carpet. The sour cream & guac was completely melted and soaked in the lettuce & tomatoes (it looked like a lettuce, tomato smoothie). The beef with onions and peppers tasted good but they need to learn how to pack to-go containers better, or at least not turn it sideways. I'm sure it would've been good dining in but their delivery was a complete mess so I'll never order from them again for delivery. I've eaten at the restaurant before and remember it being good but delivery is a complete disgusting mess. You're better off not getting delivery from this place. I'd suggest to the owner to learn how to correctly deliver food if they expect return customers for delivery. read more

I am so happy that a new place opened in the neighborhood, especially Mexican! It is a new restaurant and I usually don't try new restaurants within the few weeks of opening, but my boyfriend and I took a chance. I am glad we did because we instantly recognized the owner from another famous Mexican restaurant in Queens. We know that he has great experience and work ethic! Our service was great and he was very attentive. Our appetizer of the cheese nachos was delicious. Our main courses were freshly made, good quality and delicious! My boyfriend ordered the Chicken Burrito and I ordered the Solomillo. We also had the fried ice cream for dessert. We can't wait to go back when they get their liquor license so we can have margaritas with dinner. I believe the prices were reasonable, especially considering it is not a take out restaurant. Second time coming here. It's clean and have good specials. The lunch special is 11.99 for a cup of soup and a soda with an entre. The chicken soup tasted sour and not because it had lime like it was old. I ordered the chicken Milaneses with fries and it was good. Hard to not get that right.
