This place is really wonderful, everyone here is so friendly and I love having Dr. Munazzah as my dentist. She is very patient and explains everything clearly, walking you through pictures of your teeth and whatnot. Does not overprescribe fillings like I have seen some other dentists do. I got two cavities filled here and it was my first time getting fillings, the whole thing was quick and painless and everyone was very professional. There is a 5% discount if you pay in cash which was nice. read more

Quality care! Great Doctors, great hygienist and great staff! Staff is quick with getting insurance information updated. Reminder text and courtesy calls to remind me of my appointments. The hygienist take their time to make sure your teeth are thoroughly cleaned. X-ray machines are up to date so it's a one stop shop for a pano, CT scan or digital X-Ray's. They also offer Invisalign treatment, have a oral surgeon specialist that dedicates to patients in the office once a month . This office offers teeth bleaching too! If you can't catch an appointment at the palo location they have two other locations in Redwood City and Santa Clara . read more

The only reason I'm not giving 1 star is because the dentist actually do really great work. But, the customer/office staff are so unresponsive and have zero sense of quality care. Every time I call no one answers, takes days to get a text back, and email is even worse. I was told I was going to be booked for an appointment but they would call me earlier if there was an opening but there wasn't. That's fine. However, I never got an appointment for the date I asked for. Let alone I paid $200 for a night guard that didn't fit after getting my chips filled. I was given a free replacement but it was so thin basically Saran Wrap on my teeth. Then guess what.... I had to get a new one and paid another $200 and was given to me in a ZIP LOCK BAG with my name written in sharpie . All while being ping ponged between offices. I give up, never coming back. read more

I'm not one to leave reviews; however, Dr Yen completely surpassed all my hopes when searching for a new dentist. I live in Sonoma County and Dr Alex Yen was recommended to me. I decided to make the drive to see him. He is a wonderful dentist that was worth the drive. He was gentle ( I have sensitive teeth) and navigated through my mouth with caution sensing my apprehension. He explained everything to me about his conservative approach to treating my dental needs. And I do need to say I appreciate that he will proceed cautiously... no gauging!!! He is also very personable. I give him an A++ rating! read more

I asked the doctor a simple question about 30 times and each time she just made a non sequitur, forcing me to waste my time for about 30 minutes as she didn't answer the question. Also, the receptionist contradicted herself and then ignored me repeatedly when I asked her why and it was something extremely important. I could not recommend this place any less. These people need to be out of business, and the dentist needs to lose her license. This is beyond unacceptable. I have rarely in my life seen people who are this incompetent and I wish I could give this place -5,000,000,000,000 stars. read more

The staffs and dentists at Blue Turtle Dental are outstanding. It is a lot coming from someone, who have always dislike dental appointments. Their office manager, Jenny Pan, is a very capable and warm person. She went above and beyond to make sure that I was relaxed and comfortable before my appointments. Also, she would send me text messages to follow up and make sure I am recovering well. If I have any questions, she will respond promptly. As for Dr. Alex Yen, he is very attentive. I have brought to his attention that I have been having difficulties flossing for many years. When Dr. Yen looked and noticed 4 of my molars (2 on each side) were pressed together as if they were fused together, he performed a dental procedure called Odontoplasty (shaved and reshaped my impacted molars to give them some space). I am surprised such procedure existed. I have brought up my difficulties with flossing my back molars with previous dentists each year. Yet, none of my previous dentists has taken the initiative to address my concerns. Now, I can floss without any difficulties. Thank you, Dr. Yen!! I would recommend Blue Turtle Dental to anyone who wants an attentive dentist and team. read more

I've been going to Blue Turtle for ~7 years, and they just went through ownership change. I'm always a bit cautious of small private businesses when ownership changes hands...but, it's great! I bring both of my kids (2 and 4 years old) and my kids love everybody at the office too. They're all friendly, courteous and feel a bit like family with all the good vibes. The best dental practice I've been to. Came here to fill in my cavities and the dentists here did it with great care. Any follow up work relating to it was done promptly. My dad needed help with dentures and the dentists here gladly took him in as a patient. My dad also said that they were the best dentists he's ever had. I booked an appointment right before the pandemic and shelter in place came into effect, so everything got pushed back. But Jenny made sure to keep in touch even after months went by. I've been going to Blue Turtle Dental for about two years now. I was impressed from day one by their hospitality and it keeps getting better! Jenny is the best at communicating and handling appointments. I had to move mine 2-3 times due to uncertain travel plans but we got everything sorted through text messages! I recently had my first deep cleaning done with Zhara and it was a lot less painful than I thought it would be. She took a lot of time to explain what's going on, what's the aftercare, and even how to floss my teeth better (yes, I am a full grown adult who thought I knew how it works but I don't).
