Dr. Riahi is clearly very experienced and exceptionally skilled. As a physician with my own medical staff, I also paid close attention to how he interacts with his team. He consistently treated everyone with respect, always saying "please" and "thank you" when asking for instruments--something that, unfortunately, is not as common in medical offices as it should be. At the end of the visit, I asked whether he provides other dental services, as I would gladly have him perform any dental care I might need in the future. He is very down-to-earth, makes you feel at ease immediately, and you receive a warm welcome from Emily upon entering the office. They always fit you in as soon as possible, especially if you are experiencing any pain. I cannot recommend this practice enough. They make a great team.

Dr. Huynh is incredibly patient, understanding, and empathetic. You never feel rushed or judged for asking questions. He takes the time needed to fully address any concerns, and the procedures themselves were far more comfortable, painless, and pleasant than any dental experience I've ever had, which is saying a lot given the procedure. They are both highly knowledgable and do excellent work!…read more I recently saw Dr. On for a tooth that had already been treated, but had never healed because it wasn't treated properly. The first opinion I got (elsewhere) said that the tooth would have to be extracted: retreatment would be difficult without further damaging the tooth as it would require a large amount of finesse to do it properly. But Dr. On suggested that he could carefully try retreating, and would quit early if he thought he would end up damaging the tooth. He even said he would charge me a very very minimal amount if he ended up quitting early without completing the retreatment. After two hours of patiently operating, he managed to do it! It took at least 30 minutes longer than planned, and despite that, he didn't rush AND I was charged the same amount as a regular retreatment. He saved my tooth! He is the most patient endodontist/dentist I have visited, he's incredibly skilled without being overly confident AND he's truly honest! I suspect the only reason this place doesn't have five stars is because of old reviews from when a different group of endodontists used to run this place. All recent reviews (those of Dr. On and Dr. Bowers) seem excellent. Go here and ask for one of these two!

As I got into my car I thought, what the heck just drive by and check out Dr. Javidan's office! Nestled off El Camino in Southern Palo Alto, very close and convenient for Mt View and Los Altos patients, I entered this modern office. The staff was warm and friendly and accommodating, and Melissa was more than happy to help me with my nervous energy and questions. During this month, after numerous calls to speak with Melissa and direction, my visit/treatment had arrived...today ta-dah !! This is the day of the much-dreaded ROOT CANAL! I was not sure what to expect other than their gracious and kind staff including the doctor. Today was the day!!. I can tell you, they make it as pain-free as possible. The only thing I did not care for was the clamped mouth..cause I could not speak..or if I did, it sounded like jibberish!! I am sure some friends and family would love to this on my mouth when they utter..you talk way tooooo much!! Lol- Hence my reviews! :) All I can say is you need a friendly much-needed pain free root canal procedure..Dr. Javidan is the one you need to see.:) They even have net flicks to watch, today I watched Mayberry RFD, many too choose from. But it was a great experience and the quality was exceptional. I'm one of those people who has had many fillings and crowns from more than a few different dentists. I have finally found the best, Dr. Joy. From the moment I arrived when he greeted me with a handshake to a thorough evaluation with clear explanation to actually prepping the tooth to showing me how he was shaping the crown using software to printing the crown and finally cementing it in place, everything was top notch. As a result, I was very nervous about my upcoming root canal. Dr. Chang and her staff were attentive, courteous and very personable. (I didn't mention the movie though) As per the instructions on their website I popped a couple of Advils prior to the visit. There was a very tiny pinch when local anesthesia was administered. I could barely feel it. Listened to some calming music during the procedure which made it really comfortable. Dr. Chang knows her stuff. She and her staff are beyond amazing. If I could give them a billion stars instead of 5 I would. Don't think twice about going here and be nice to them!
