    Yay! They expanded '. It's a beautiful location & they have grown this past year to having a pick up window too ! Always friendly staff. We loved our choices - the home run potatoes were a bit underwhelming- lacking flavor -my biscuit was perfect tho - not too dry. We love this spot !!!!

    Stopped by while road tripping up to Portland. Everything we ordered was delicious and fresh. I loved the bolognese. There were also some free handmade cards to take. Service was great and the whole atmosphere was very pleasant.

    I was running errands in this area of town, and stopped in to pick some sandwiches for my husband and I. As well as some chocolate chip cookies! Parking was a little competitive, so I was nervous that the wait was gonna be pretty long. But, it was quick to order and quick to get my food! And, the staff were really friendly. I got the Goat Herder Sandwich for my hubby- with goat cheese, arugula and more! And I ordered the Farm Stand for myself! It was perfect! And, hit the spot. I stole a bite of my hubby's sandwich and that was amazing! And, we both thought their chocolate chip cookies were the best we have had in Eugene. Sorry, I didn't take a lot of pictures today, but trust me it was tasty!

    This is our new favorite breakfast stop. The servers are all friendly and patient. The bread is phenomenal. I am not vegan but love their carrot "lox's" and cashew "cream cheese". We ended up going two days in a row!

    TL;DR amazing coffee shop, foods "garnishes" could have had more to it, seating is plentiful but feels crowded. You know it's a good coffee shop when I am nitpicking on seating. I really enjoyed my visit to this coffee shop/bakery. Some of the most unique and flavorful breakfast food but quantity left me wanting more. The Jewel, with a delicious peppered jelly, is an amazing breakfast sandwich. But for $9 for a breakfast sandwich, I feel like it could have added a second piece of bacon as opposed to the single strip down the middle. It felt like it needed more sustenance to it. Good coffee with lots of classic options and a couple specials There is plenty of seating, which almost is part of the issue. The shop Itself is fairly small and therefore feels a little packed. To be fair, it was a little too cold for the outside seating which I am sure would help it feel much more open

    The biscuit and gravy tasted great, although they could've been a wee bit hotter temp wise. Bordered on being luke-warm, but the flavor and texture were tasty-though it had a touch of sweetness, which I'm not a fan of. The biscuit itself was great! Cold-brew decent! I drank it black and it was smooth and a lighter blend. I took a cinnamon roll to go, hot out of oven, and it definitely stole the show. The tables filled up fast, but the ambiance wasn't as homey as I prefer-kind of sterile inside. They had a ton of kids working in there with one older guy at the cash register. The owner? Not sure but it reminded me of a church camp kinda vibe. The younger guy who took over register right before I left was definitely friendlier. If you're craving a homemade cinnamon roll then you should definitely try theirs.

    This is a really nice lil cafe in a part of town that is missing a place like this! We got both sweet and savory options, along with some coffee. Both of the pastries were great, but the biscuit open face sandwich was really unique and a fun breakfast option. One star off though, because everything (the food and the place itself) was COLD! The front door was open, making us not want to stay very long because we were chilly! And, similarly, I wish the pastries were warmed up. The soft boiled egg was cold too, which was a bit odd. Maybe better in the summer!

    Like the South meets PNW. Biscuits were A+. Fluffy, slightly crispy, and not too greasy. They might look small in photos, but they are very filling (and we are generally big eaters). Lots of interesting menu choices. Great hot drinks, too.

A stack of admirable loft and structure--evidence of a properly developed batter, handled with restraint and precision. The crumb is airy yet resilient, each bite yielding gently before dissolving into a delicate nuttiness inherent to buckwheat. A caramelized banana sauce pools generously, glossy and fragrant, its sweetness tempered by the cultured tang of crème fraîche. Toasted coconut chips scatter across the top like crisp punctuation, lending both aroma and texture. This is cooking that understands balance--sweetness checked by acidity, softness lifted by crunch, comfort elevated by technique. It is, quite simply, a five out of five dish. Bacon was like a cross between pork belly and bacon (very thick) but really tasty. Breakfast Sando was good with in-house ground pork and a nice aioli. We also tried the savory macarons (Brie and truffle) which are delicious. Creamy and a tad sweet. Not too much truffle. Coffee was a bright tangy pour over-not my favorite type but some people really like that style. Oh, and we had a blood orange mimosa which was really good Overall an excellent experience! The menu was good but the execution by the kitchen was inconsistent. At that point we just wanted to finally get out of there. Sitting there with tap water after finishing your first round of coffee/drinks a long time ago and hoping someone ever returns is crazy. The location is great, menu well constructed, and it was clean and welcoming. If you are looking for a place to just sit around and talk to each other for a couple hours and maybe, just maybe get some food or service at some point then this is the place for you. The one positive note was the barista slinging coffee drinks. She was working her tail off the entire time and all the coffee drinks were great. It was bland and soggy, not moist or juicy from the sausage, just soggy. The flavor of the sausage was good but other than that the burrito was completely bland. The home fries on the side were pretty tasty but I didn't even want them and would've preferred them inside the burrito or not included at all for a lower price. My main reason for leaving 1 star and not maybe 2 or even 3 is that they charge a 10% gratuity on to-go orders which, to me, is unacceptable. I generally tip about that much on my own for to-go (20-35% if I eat in for people who think I'm awful lol), but given the food is ridiculously overpriced I was unsure if I would this time. Them making that decision for me without any heads up ensures I will never come back here again. A small note on ambience; the place is stinky. As I said, I didn't sit down so take this with a grain of salt, but when I walked in I was blasted with a musty and kind of dirty smell that would've had me not wanting to stay for a meal. I honestly feel bad writing this review but this place does not deserve the communities continued business unless they SERIOUSLY up their game. My breakfast from the Hay Y'all food truck in Eugene arrived with promise, and in many ways, it delivered. The flavors were thoughtful, deliberate, and undeniably well executed. The pecan-crusted chicken was juicy, its crust confident and well seasoned. The French toast was rich without excess. The biscuits were fluffy and deeply comforting, and the gravy--pepper-forward yet restrained--was balanced precisely to my taste. This is food made by someone who understands flavor. And yet, cuisine is not merely flavor. It is temperature, proportion, and expectation meeting reality. Despite picking up my order immediately and driving no more than two minutes home, nearly everything arrived lukewarm--hovering uncomfortably between hot and forgotten. This was the single greatest disappointment, as warmth would have elevated every component substantially. Food like this begs to be eaten hot, not merely remembered as such. Portion size, particularly for the pecan-crusted chicken and French toast, also fell short of what had been promised--if not verbally, then visually. Online images suggest generosity: three, sometimes four pieces of chicken. My plate held two, both smaller than expected. The price remains reasonable, but I would gladly pay slightly more to receive portions that align with those expectations. The accompanying fruit, while a pleasant gesture, felt miscast. Tart strawberries and under-ripe pineapple did little to complement the dish. Because despite these shortcomings, the food is good. More than good. It is thoughtful, balanced, and clearly prepared with care. With accurate portioning and food served properly hot, this meal would easily earn four, perhaps even five stars. I know this. For that reason, while my immediate, emotional reaction rests closer to a three or three-and-a-half out of five, I am rating this experience a four out of five stars. The quality of the cooking warrants generosity, even when execution falters. I was there very early, right at opening, and I recognize that busy mornings can challenge even capable kitchens. I will return. Not out of optimism, but out of confidence--because when food is this well conceived, it deserves another chance to be served as intended.
