    Bacon and eggs

Came here for breakfast with my family on Friday. Very friendly and helpful staff. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Place is decorated cute with old time signs.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We got there at 830am in Friday with the place fairly empty and by 9 the place was packed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered bacon and eggs. My husband had the peanut butter stuffed French toast. Our son had the chocolate chip pancake. Our server was very kind to our son and made sure his hot chocolate was at a drinkable temperature and was piled high with whipped cream and sprinkles. She came back several times to refill our coffee and check on us. Food was great! Would recommend!

    Meat????? Shredded and minuscule portions.

Nothing I hate more than ordering coffee $3-$5 and getting "0" Refills. *Coffee was weak and watery *It almost 20 minutes before food arrived and finally got a refill (water/coffee). *Stuffed french toast was disappointing. Small vs Yelp photos by others and Minimal filling. If it didn't contrast with cream cheese and bread you'd never known it was an ingredient! *Currently eating Reuben..You can see from pics there's not much to eat. The side of thousand island I requested saved it. I got sweet potatoes (bad decision on my part) which didn't pair well AT ALL. Bad combination Our waitress was VERY friendly but only two of them on a semi-busy day. It will be my first and only visit.

French toast special and the chicken fried steak breakfast with biscuit
    Michelle M.

We got the 2 2 2 special (2 pieces of fat French toast, 2 eggs, 2 pieces of bacon or sausage for $15) and the chicken fried steak breakfast with biscuit. I had the special and the eggs and bacon were cooked to perfection. The French toast was unique and I appreciate the innovation (see picture of how they used a thick French bread hence the "fat" title of the toast) but I think I prefer traditional width French toast as I found the crust a bit tough and there's not enough of the delicious eggy exterior which is the most desirable attribute of most French toasts. My partner got the chicken fried steak which was reportedly crispy and good and the biscuit was a bit crumbly and it was suggested it could be improved by being held together a bit more. Although it was very busy on a Friday morning (clearly a local hot spot) with a couple of servers working very hard they were very friendly and helpful and the food was good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a cute, sort of retro gas station vibe cafe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The floor was a bit greasy and could do with a deep cleaning.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall I'd recommend this place for a classic simple breakfast.

We've been coming here for years, but our recent visits have been really disappointing due to major…read moremenu and quality changes. Last time we came for brunch, we noticed the eggs Benedict no longer has the amazing Parmesan-crusted potatoes. The hollandaise is still decent and the focaccia bread is great, but losing that crispy crust was a big bummer. Today's visit for our usual wings and nachos was even more frustrating. First, they no longer offer ground beef for the nachos. We were told we could substitute steak, but that literally doubles the price of the dish. We opted for chicken instead, which was a steep $7 extra for maybe two ounces of meat. When the nachos arrived, they looked like low-effort, homemade oven nachos with just melted cheddar on top. The whole thing was fused together into one giant sheet of chips; we had to break it apart and manually pile the toppings back onto the chips ourselves. It was really weird. The biggest letdown, though, was the wings. It used to be a solid order of six traditional flats and drums. Today, we paid $14 for just four pieces, and they weren't even wings--they were frenched chicken thighs. Subbing a completely different, lower-quality cut of meat without telling the customer is false advertising, and they turned out dry. Plus, the sauce has changed from a traditional Frank's-style buffalo to a harsh cayenne sauce. Between the wings and the nachos, today's total came out to $34--and $40 with a tip. Paying premium prices for dry thigh meat, overpriced add-ons, and a block of fused-together nachos makes it really hard to justify coming back. I'm not sure if North Fork got bought out or what, but I really don't see a point in returning.

The biscuit was decent, but the flavor of the gravy and the steak brought it all together. The quality reminded me of another sports bar here in Bend that has really good breakfast/brunch foods. I can't really speak to the other dishes but my wife and daughter were very happy with their French Toast and Waffle. I'd def stop back in if I was in the area.

At a previous visit the server mentioned I should consider a Tuesday visit to enjoy the $16 all you can eat red sauce spaghetti dinner. So tonight my dinner date and myself hopped on the LTD bus #13 and headed for Centennial Steakhouse located at 1300 Mohawk Blvd. in Springfield. Entering we stopped to observe the message board mentioning the $16 special and $4 Margarita. Arriving at 3:30 pm we found the choice of seating plentiful with booth and table space available. Children welcome until 10 pm. Our server immediately arrived to take our drink orders. The $4 Margarita was tasty and obviously free poured. I appreciated that our server was attentive without being intrusive. Our spaghetti dinners arrived when we ordered our 2nd Margarita drinks. Now here is the unbelievable portion of this review. Completing the meal the server ask if we would like to order a meal to go. We shake our heads and she says "it is included with the all you can eat." WHAT! So our tab included 2 spaghetti dinners we ate and two full to go boxes for dinner tomorrow evening. So unbelievable. We arrived while the bartender (is that the PC description?) was taking our drink orders and a server came on to take our food and 2nd drink order. We cash tipped out the bartender/server and cash tipped out our server. It is always confusing to know if tips are shared our separate. In addition to the natural offerings of coffee and assorted juices they offer specialty coffees ranging from a standard iced coffee to white mochas, cappuccinos, dirty chai tea latte's and Mexican mochas. Our table ordered items including the Linguica Scramble, Pancakes, and Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches. The restaurant had a good steady stream of customers but they appeared to be able to handle the amount of people and we didn't notice anyone wait more than a couple of minutes to be seated.
