I had this bakery on my list of places to try while in Sandpoint for the week and stumbled in for a coffee and quick bite not realizing where I was. It's so cute and welcoming inside. Love the big windows and natural light that spills in. My iced latte and Turkey Avo Croissant sandwich was super yummy. The avocado was perfectly creamy which scores big in my book. Got the croissant breakfast sandwich and a pastry, and all was incredibly tasty and fresh. It's a little loud in the shop but that's because they're always busy! The baked goods at bluebird are awesome. Love the cinnamon buns, monkey bread, etc. Their breakfast ciabatta sandwich is the bomb and their Italian sandwich is another favorite. Don't let the line scare you off it moves fast and there's a reason they're busy. All ingredients locally sourced and top quality. read more

I got the everything croissant, butter, chocolate, and almond. They were all great flaky croissants and good buttery flavor to them. I wasn't a big fan of the almond croissant because the almond filling was missing the richness and almond flavor. Besides that solid croissants. They have a great location center of Sandpoint. My daughter and her family go in there couple times a week. They have lots of great baked goods. Their lattes are big. Great place for families to sit and enjoy a pastry or a meal. Have to go here every time I visit Sandpoint. read more

I have definitely found the best breakfast spot in Sandpoint. What it lacks in warmth is made up ten fold by the deliciousness of their food, coffee and friendly staff. We ordered a ham and cheese croissant, plain everything croissant, cinnamon roll/bun, breakfast veggie croissant, 2 cups of drip coffee and a cappuccino with oat milk. Words cannot describe how perfect everything was. We ate our food and drank our drinks while driving up to Schweitzer Mountain. Half way up we were debating on going back to get more food. Full disclosure: I'm a total croissant snob and don't consider supermarket bakeries, Starbucks, or even many local options anywhere near the real deal. In fact when I first came here, my expectations were already tempered because the northern Idaho Panhandle may have gorgeous vistas, but good bakeries are few and far between. Well sir, let me assure you Master Baker Jill has done it! She's brought a true, honest-to-god croissant that's super light, flakes into a thousand little pieces right onto her lovely floor, and has the authentic exterior sheen you're looking for into Sandpoint. And like any true piece of baking perfection, it's only good the day (sometimes the first few hours) you buy it. If there's another croissant anywhere as good as hers around these parts, I've yet to discover it. read more
