This time I went the lady said it'd be $110. I told her what I've always been charged in the past but she said she couldn't do anything and it's because my dog is big (she's been coming here since she's been full grown so it's not like she suddenly got bigger). If their rates changed then that's a different story but the lady seemed to just come up with an arbitrary number Edit: Tian, thank you for responding and I agree with your version of events (I honestly didn't realize the last time I've been in was over a year ago!). That said, I do think that the situation could have been handled better, or maybe there was a simple communication barrier. It would have been simple for the staff member to look up my account just as you did, and explain the change to me. Instead she couldn't really tell me why there was such a large price difference leaving me feeling like the number she gave was arbitrary. Either way, again, I am happy with the service Magic Groomer has provided, but the increase puts you guys out of my budget. :(.

They allowed me to hold him during the cleaning and took their time, giving us breaks whenever he needed to calm down. After picking up my dog, I looked through the window and saw a groomer yelling at a small Yorkie, grabbing it forcefully by the face, and jerking it when it wasn't cooperating. I was so concerned that I went back inside and confronted the staff. When the groomer realized I had seen what happened, she immediately started smiling, saying "oh no," and changed the way she was handling the dog. Regardless, I know what I saw. As the owner of a senior dog who is blind and deaf, it broke my heart to think about how animals might be treated when owners aren't watching. I left extremely upset and have not returned since. I've also noticed that the facility has seemed less clean in recent visits than it did in the past. Additionally, there are often dogs kept in cages in the back area, which has made me uncomfortable during some of my visits. This was my personal experience, and unfortunately it was enough for me to lose trust in the business. I believe every dog deserves to be treated with patience, kindness, and respect.

When I asked them about a future date the owner wrote back and said she didn't want to "manage a dog with special needs". She hasn't seen my dog in over two years and my dog is not a puppy anymore. She's been fine with vets and other groomers. Since this place is right next to our house we thought of coming back. What a terrible idea. Its so wrong for her to write what she wrote and wrong to not even want to see my little 14 pound terrier again.

DO NOT LEAVE YOUR DOG HERE!…read more Absolutely unacceptable experience. I picked up my dog from Heavenly Pet Resort in West Covina, and she came home covered in ticks. Not just one or two--she had ticks ALL OVER HER after staying at a facility that is supposed to provide a clean and safe environment for pets. As a pet owner, that is completely unacceptable. What made the situation even more frustrating was the initial response. Instead of immediately taking responsibility, my wife was told that our dog must have gotten the ticks after we got home. That explanation made no sense to us, especially considering the number of ticks we found almost immediately after picking her up. It felt like they were trying to shift the blame instead of taking our concerns seriously. Instead of bringing our dog home and enjoying having her back, we had to inspect her from head to toe, remove ticks, worry about tick-borne diseases, sanitize our home, and take her to the veterinarian. No pet owner should ever have to deal with that after paying a boarding facility to care for their pet. To their credit, they ultimately refunded the cost of our stay and paid for the veterinary visit, and I do appreciate that they took financial responsibility. However, a refund doesn't erase what happened or the stress and concern it caused our family. We trusted them with a member of our family, and they let us down.

I organized food in one cabinet, with post-its for info, post-it where her room litterbox was after already giving info to the manager I think it helped make things simpler. We started getting daily reports, with "basics" box checked. They were thorough, precise, and complete. My Dad worked for Polaroid for 20 years, and these pet sitters were awesome at taking pictures. Every day we'd open up the emails and this noise would come out of our mouths: not ooh! Yecch! But...: Awwww, look at how cute she looks. Her wariness and caution as a cat showed, but her shyness rounded the corner a bit. Sitter4paws let us take a long vacation worry free at what we thought were reasonable prices, for a truly truly worry free vacation. Great communicators, responsible, and reliable, and awesome photographers. Thank you!

I will never use them again after my TERRIBLE experience. Initially used this service for a short business trip with success so tried again for a longer trip to see family between Christmas and NYE. The company sent a sitter I had never met who incorrectly used the pill injector on my sick, elderly cat and forced her to swallow the over inch-long applicator tip. Resulted in $3,000 emergency vet surgery to remove that I had to manage from out of town. So deeply stressful for me but mainly my poor elderly asthmatic cat!! They handled it but SO unnecessary and only happened bc of their bizarre business model where they pick whichever of their employees are available, not someone who knows your house/pet. So if you get one who knows what they're doing you don't necessarily get them again - it's totally random from the customer's perspective. Instead of enjoying my family I had to spend the time managing the emergency they created from afar, stressed and fuming that I trusted this company to send someone competent to care for my sweet older cat. After the first disastrous pill delivery issue they sent the **same person** again a day later who clearly doesn't know how to give a cat medication and she, again, incorrectly gave my cat her medication!!! My cat gets ill if she misses just one day, the medication is a high-dose steroid for her asthma. The employee did not know how to give her the pill, but still marked the medication as administered on their form (I only figured out it didn't happen when I read the notes) and instead of giving her the pill rubbed it on her gums -?!? I am FURIOUS for my poor cat and at the incompetence of this employee they continue to use, along with the management that assured me they know how to give cats medication and yet still sent this individual out after it was proved that they cannot give a cat medication effectively. The other employees seemed to be ok but I had no choice over who they sent over, meaning every visit was a gamble. If you need anything beyond the most basic service, avoid avoid avoid!!!

First, when we arrived, we weren't allowed inside--not even into the front office. Instead, we had to fill out all the paperwork outside. When we asked to see the play area where the dogs would be spending their time, we were also denied access. This raised concerns about transparency. Inside the office, we noticed a TV monitor and asked if it was used for pet parents to check in on their dogs during pet play time , Kevin told us no. This meant that once we left our dog, we had no way of knowing how they were being treated or interacting with other dogs. When we asked for a visual reference of the play area, he only had a few photos, which showed a couch and some toys--not the engaging and structured environment we were expecting. We did leave our dog for the initial evaluation. Before I left I asked him if he can take a video for me for todays at least, so that I can see how my puppy interacts with his stay , he then assured me he would be able to do that. My husband and I left to grab a bite, and returned in 45 min. When we returned I asked to see the video, and he said he did not take a video of my puppy interacting. After we left we discussed it and didn't feel comfortable with the lack of access and transparency. We ultimately decided not to bring our dog back. While we can't say anything negative about how the dogs are actually treated, the fact that pet owners aren't allowed to see where their pets will be playing or how they are interacting raises concerns. For us, peace of mind and trust are essential when leaving our pet in someone else's care, and unfortunately, we didn't get that here. Kevin appeared to be a nice gentleman, and maybe a bit old school, but this wasn't for us.

She then very aggressively asked "Well does your dog get along with everyone?" .....the conversation continued for a bit and then I just said thank you and hung up. And yes! My dog gets along with other dogs, has all her shots and is fixed! I wouldn't even consider boarding her if she didn't fill all these requirements! If this woman is this rude with a complete stranger /possible new customer, I can only imagine how she treats the dogs. Doesn't sound like she is happy doing what she is doing.....

As the parent of Butter, a sensitive Bichonpoodle with separation anxiety, I was desperate for a groomer who truly understands his needs. Elsa is very talented and exceeded all expectations! Her kindness, patience, and expertise put Butter at ease. Unlike our previous experience at another facility, where we were made to feel guilty for Butter's behavior, Elsa showered us with compassion and understanding. Butter always look so adorable because of Elsa, earning non-stop compliments from family, friends and strangers. He struts around like a celebrity dog! I can't say enough good things about Blue Moon Pet Grooming in El Monte. Elsa and her team are truly amazing! Last Friday night, we found a small, older dog wandering the streets -- dirty and matted, clearly lost and scared. We called several grooming shops and even a vet hospital, but no one was willing to help since he was a stray. Then we found Blue Moon. Elsa immediately understood the situation and kindly offered to take him in the next day (Saturday). She welcomed us without hesitation and treated the little dog with so much kindness and care. The dog was quite nervous and even a bit aggressive during the grooming, but Elsa stayed so patient and calm, showing her true professionalism and love for animals. She did a wonderful job cleaning him up and even charged just the regular price. It's so heartwarming to meet someone who genuinely cares -- not just about pets, but about doing the right thing. I'm beyond grateful to Elsa and her team for helping this little dog and showing such compassion. I can't say enough amazing things about Blue Moon Pet Grooming! The team here has been nothing short of incredible with our two fur babies, Mochi and Lulu. Every time we bring them in, we leave with happy, clean, and perfectly groomed pups. Both Mochi and Lulu are naturally shy and a little nervous, but the groomers handle them with so much patience and care--it's like they know exactly how to make them feel safe and comfortable. It gives us such peace of mind knowing they're in such loving hands. Their cuts are always perfect, and they come home smelling amazing with cute little bows or bandanas that show how much thought and effort went into every detail. After running into some issues with past groomers as one groomer returned our Mango to us with cuts, and another groomer returning her with a broken blood vessel in her eye causing a hemorrhage, we decided to look for a new groomer with the hopes of finding a professional and careful groomer that really knows how to take care of your dog and their grooming needs. We found Elsa and we couldn't have been more happy to have her groom Mango. It was very easy to make an appointment and Elsa's friendly and fun personality made us feel very welcome and assured us that Mango was in safe hands. We asked for a teddy bear haircut for Mango and Elsa really delivered! Out of all the groomers we've been to, Elsa did the best job possible with Mango and we couldn't have been happier. I just wanted to start of saying thank you to Elsa for always being so kind to me and my little ones Daisy & Estella, I was on the search for a groomer when Blue moon came across on yelp. Our drive is approximately 20 min from Downey to Lower Azusa ,which we have been doing and will continue . My baby's love & enjoy getting groomed. Estella is more on the curly side, which means she does get tangled often. Blue moon team is just amazing, they always leave both of my baby's more than perfect. They even add color to there tails and ears which i love. OHHHH almost forgot the perfumes Elsa adds at the end after groom is just wonderful and lasts up to week. Absolutely in love with the work that Mia has done! She worked very hard to take care of my dog Buster. Even though I brush him a lot, she let me know that I use the wrong brushes for him and recommended some amazing brushes for me to use at home. I felt SO BAD that his hair was all over the salon!!!! She worked many hours to make sure Buster was super clean, soft, and smelling nice. Definitely will take my doggies back to this place as I cannot recommend them enough. Very small negative is, I didn't want any hair to be cut from him at all (even around his bum), but his paws and bum hair were still cut. I most likely was not clear, but I'm sure she only did it because she thought it would make my life easier. I'll be more clear next time, but other than that--A+++ on overall bathing. read more

I had the pleasure of taking my dog to a local groomer, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. Elsa , the groomer was super friendly and attentive, taking the time to ask detailed questions about my dog's needs and preferences. It was clear she really cared about making both me and my Hazel girl feel comfortable. The grooming area was clean and well organized. The groomer was skilled, and I could tell she has a real love for animals. My shihtzu came out looking so cute. She even put a cute little pink bow on her. I told her what I've always been charged in the past but she said she couldn't do anything and it's because my dog is big (she's been coming here since she's been full grown so it's not like she suddenly got bigger). If their rates changed then that's a different story but the lady seemed to just come up with an arbitrary number Edit: Tian, thank you for responding and I agree with your version of events (I honestly didn't realize the last time I've been in was over a year ago!). That said, I do think that the situation could have been handled better, or maybe there was a simple communication barrier. It would have been simple for the staff member to look up my account just as you did, and explain the change to me. Instead she couldn't really tell me why there was such a large price difference leaving me feeling like the number she gave was arbitrary. Either way, again, I am happy with the service Magic Groomer has provided, but the increase puts you guys out of my budget. :(.

One of my dogs is a little bit skittish so mobile grooming is a great option. Charidan shows up on time- parks in front of my house and the whole experience is much less stressful for my dogs.
