I take my cat for a lion cut as he sheds a lot of hair and he always comes out so cute. Have worked with Yulia twice and she was great. I live closer now to their sister location (La Verne) but when I called to get the same reservation at the La Verne location they were not accommodating and asked me to get my cat medicated before coming due to his fear of water (ouch), so I continue to make the drive down now to Arcadia and it's totally worth it! I'm sad to say I didn't get a chance to see the location, but what I can say owe my brother is it was very nice. Clean and just a welcoming feeling of kindness towards our due baby. Dealing with them on the phone was so easy. Everything accommodating. The text reminders and constant interaction was not something many grooming facilities offer such great service. What I can say, the call received to inform me our little kitten was ready to be picked up was so kind. Andrina explained everything she did to and for our Pinky Le Pew. She gave suggestions on what we could do to continue his grooming experience at home and just overall health & grooming suggestions for him. My fur child Rambo has been going to Lizza for about a year now and I've always had positive experiences both with her as well as the entire team. I brought my cat here for a flea bath treatment. On the positive side, the staff was very nice, and I really appreciated that they were able to fit us in within about 30 minutes. That said, I was disappointed with the actual flea treatment. When I picked my cat up, she came out with just as many fleas as she had when I dropped her off. She already has short fur, and the fleas were very noticeable, especially around her neck and head, so it was hard to believe the treatment had been effective. We had already treated our home for fleas prior to this visit, which made the situation even more frustrating. When I called back to ask about it, I was told the fleas likely jumped back onto her from the carrier. While I understand that's possible, I don't believe she could have picked up that many fleas again in such a short amount of time. They had her for less than an hour and mentioned she was very well-behaved and that they "only found one flea," which didn't align with what I was seeing afterward. What was most disappointing was that the phone call felt more like a lesson or explanation rather than simple acknowledgment or concern about the service that was provided. I wasn't looking to argue--I just wanted acknowledgment and reassurance regarding the flea bath itself. Overall, the staff was kind and accommodating, but unfortunately, the flea treatment did not seem effective in our case. read more

We love Na!! I have 3 animals (so much fur!) and I was first paired up with her to groom my pup Bruno. I gave her a few notes and showed her 1-2 photos for reference and Bruno looked so handsome after his groom! Next, I wanted her to bath the kitties and to do a full belly save on my long haired cat - she again, took great instruction -- specifically the little nuances of each cat and what they do/don't like (haha). When I came to pick them up, they were so fluffy and clean and looked so calm and happy (I think Na also had a fun time comfort cuddling them too haha)!! She was so attentive and sweet and gave us little parting gifts. Thanks Na for getting my boys cleaned up and looking dapper as ever!! :) Ps - The actual grooming salon is great too -- I love that they do dogs AND cats and have the option to groom kitties (lion cut, belly - half and full saves, flea vs non-flea shampoos, etc.) unlike other places that only do nail trimming and/or baths only. This location (Arcadia) has really friendly service/staff and although they get super busy, they aim to call everyone back if they miss your call. read more

Took our little boy to get his first professional grooming, he has very long hair normally and is very jumpy when bathing at home. After bringing him in and talking to Nicole who would be performing his service today, I felt very comfortable he would be in good hands. I warned her about his previous experiences bathing at home and that it was his first time at the groomers. After some time I got a call to update me on how he has been and to let me know when he will be ready for pickup. He was very well mannered with Nicole and looks like a million bucks now after his kitten cut. His coat was drastically reduced and he was able to be bathed, de-shedded, and dried without any issues. I will be bringing Murphy back to fur town for all my future grooming needs and recommend them to anyone in the area! read more

I'm so disappointed in this place. I've brought my pet here for a while now and they've always done such a good job but this last time they really dropped the ball. Starting with I tried calling about 4-5 times and no answer that should have been my sign to not come here. I finally got an appointment with a "certified" groomer. Which I usually go to the students but last couple times I've gone with certified since students are always booked and I decided to treat my pet for the new year. I can't complain about the attitude because the girl (I didn't get her name) was nice but she did such a terrible job on my poor dogs hair cut. I don't know what part she misunderstood but she should have asked if she didn't understand I always explain exactly what I want and they always get it. this time wasn't any different and she somehow misunderstood? She gave my dog everything I asked her not to do. She cut her tail which we had agreed on just a trim so it doesn't drag on the floor. She shaved her legs which she said she would keep as much as she could. She also cut her whole backside super short which she didn't say she was going to do. And to top it all off she left her body long and patchy, it is so uneven. I do not understand what kind of hair cut this is. It does not make sense and when I told her to please correct it she said she would. I left my dog for another hour just to come back and everything was the same. I get there and she couldn't even come out and apologize or anything I overheard her tell someone "Andrew's guna talk to her" he took her out handed her to me and that was it no apology, nothing. Safe to say I won't be coming back. I go here because of their student prices and this time I paid 90 dollars plus tip and I'm completely unhappy, my dog looks terrible. read more

We LOVE Fur Town!! We moved up to the Bay Area a few months ago and every time we're in town to visit family we take our dog here to get groomed. I can't say enough about their amazing service, how gentle they are, and how my dog always comes back looking soooo stinking cute. Lizza does an incredible job each time and our dog really adores her. When i come to pick her up, i can see her getting her finishing touches through the glass window and Arlo always has the biggest smile on her face, clearing loving the attention. This place is awesome! First of all, not a lot of pet spas or grooming places groom rabbits. However, Fur Town gladly took an appointment for Honey (our bunny) to be groomed. They gave her a bath, a booty cleaning, trimmed her fur, checked her teeth, and offered to sand them down for $45. It was super cost-effective! They were really nice to Honey too. It was her first time getting groomed, and she would also give Fur Town a 5-star rating! They also have a nice selection of healthy pet treats. My fiancé and I ended up buying toppers and Churu variety packs for our cats. I would definitely recommend them if you want a place that takes great care of your pet. read more

We took Stella, our Labrador, 9 years old, one other time to Fur Town Dog Spa, and we were very pleased with their services. We adopted Gwen, the PitBull/Staffordshire Terrier two months ago. We were told by the Rescue that she is 14 years old. We made appointments for both girls to get the works, and they looked beautiful and so happy when we picked them up, about two hours later. The groomer was a lovely young woman, "Lizza." She has a very kind, calm personality, and we were so happily impressed with the excellent job she did. When we picked them up, both Stella and Gwen were all smiles, and looked very happy. The employees at this salon are all so friendly and nice. When we left our girls with them, we felt comforted knowing our girls would be treated with kindness and groomed by people who really love what they do. The first time we went there, a couple of months ago, we only had Stella. NOTE: Fur Town is also a grooming academy, and students are taught hands-on, while being carefully coached by a fully-credentialed groomer/teacher. We were asked if we would have any qualms with a student-in-training doing her grooming, but being overseen the entire time by a fully-credentialed groomer. We were given a discount. We told them it was fine with us. Stella looked very relaxed and beautiful afterwards. We will not take our girls anywhere else because we love Fur Town, the Groomers, how they treat their customers, but more importantly, knowing our fur kids will be treated with the utmost of care and kindness. read more

I've been here three times for my two cats and would recommend them to everyone. Their services and haircuts are top-notch. They give out cute "report cards" for your cats, and the prices are very reasonable. Also, the front retail area is really cute! I've taken my cats to other places like PetSmart and other privately-owned grooming places, but this place by far does the best work. I have a small former feral (now socialized) cat named Peridot who got banned by a previous groomer for getting scared and escaping the bath. But here, she's never had any problems. She's so calm and well-behaved that they even did extra brushing on her for free. She's so clean, soft, and happy parading around at home! I also have a Maine Coon/Siamese mix named T'Challa who is LOUD. He's very sweet, social, and otherwise well-behaved but just a crybaby. They reassured me that they knew it was because of the breed and I didn't have to worry. His haircut always comes out beautiful--no weird sideways razor tracks or tufts of fur that got missed. Also, the person who fostered him as a kitten had him neutered in a way that left a lot of skin behind, but they know how to work around that and give a very clean and neat hygiene cut for him. Natasha was the last person I saw, and she was amazing! She treated both my cats so well and gave the sweetest "report cards." My only complaint is from my first visit when I saw Sydney. I asked to add a toe tuft trim when I arrived, and she said yes. But when I came to pick up my cats and asked if the toe tuft trim had been done, she said no because I didn't add it beforehand, and I need to remember to do that next time. (So, she forgot and blamed me.) Then she went on to say "TEE Challa" (you'd think a cat service professional would have heard of the name T'Challa, but that wasn't even the part that bothered me) was "a little too spoiled," meowing too much and being wiggly. It was the first behavioral complaint I've ever gotten about him, and apparently my fault for spoiling him. I apologized and left, but it was a little demoralizing. I'm going to keep spoiling my cat, which includes getting him groomed, lol. I decided to increase his dose of calming supplements just in case, which would have been better advice instead of just blaming me imo. I'm glad I gave this place another chance. Sydney is no longer at this location, and the last two times I've gone have been perfect experiences! Natasha is so, so sweet, and my cats love her. :) read more
