I called in on a Saturday to make an appointment for Sunday. I'd recommend doing so because they are usually busy the whole day. The place is very tiny so it's kind of hard to catch when driving by. I dropped off my dog at 9am and picked him up around 2pm. It was my first time taking my long hair mini dachshund to the groomers and he came out great! They gave him a bath, haircut, trimmed his nails, cleaned his teeth, ear cleaning and an anal gland cleaning. The prices are reasonable, but I am not sure if the prices on their website are up to date so be sure to call and ask! They also gave him a cute bandana too, ready for 4th of July and his birthday the day after! Previously, I would have told you that I loved this grooming place and that I trusted them with my dog 100% however, after this incident I'm not so sure. My dog has been there quite a few times before and I never had any issues. She always came back clean and smelling good. On our past visit, I took her in on a Sunday and picked her up with no complaints as usual. On Tuesday night, my dog was laying on her back and I was petting her when I found a scab underneath her arm. My dog is an inside dog and only goes outside for the restroom and walks. The scab looks fresh and is deep enough to the point where I'm sure it bled. The only plausible reasoning for this would be it happened at the groomers. I was not notified at all which sucks because if my dog were cut on accident, I would very much so like to be notified. I am near my dog 24/7 except when taking her to the groomers therefore I am confident that it happened there. read more

This review is way overdue. We have been taking our corgi, Bella, to Julie and company for 2-3 years now. We are very happy with their services. One time Julie called us afterwards because she found two lumps on Bella. We took her to the vet and glad to know that those lumps are lipoma (nothing to worry about). Just knowing that Julie cares so much when giving our dog a bath that made me trust them tremendously. Yesterday my husband took Bella for her bath and cut. When he picked her up, one of the worker (sorry, we didn't catch her name) told us that Bella was moving so much and even attempted to bite her so she lost control of the clipper and gave Bella a bald spot on her neck. But she didn't get hurt. The bald spot is big enough to see but small enough that it could have hidden with a scarf. We weren't upset since accident happens but surprised that our dog reacted badly. This morning, we got a message from Leslie that they will refund our money for their mistake. We are surprised and really appreciated it. I've been to Classic Cuts twice and both times Kyle has taken amazing care of my senior maltipoo/chihuahua mix Zoey. During our first visit, we mentioned that Zoey was 14 years old. Kyle then offered to spread out the grooming session over the span of 2 days just in case her body couldn't handle the process. Luckily, we didn't need to do that, but the fact that he even offered in the first place was very thoughtful and considerate. He even noticed that her joints were a little stiff and gave me a recommendation for joint supplements that he uses for his own dog. Best prices, best customer service, and most talented groomers here. I have tried over 7 different groomers in the Temple City/Arcadia/San Gabriel/San Marino area, and this is the best place by far. The shop is small so call beforehand to make an appointment. I like that the shop is small as you can sit and watch your pup being groomed.
