Absolutely one of the most infuriating visits I've ever had--and I don't even want to come back to…read morePlantation. The reason? The front desk, specifically Paula. This woman has no business in customer service. I come in regularly for my pets, and she's consistently rude, condescending, and disrespectful. She interrupts, rolls her eyes, and acts like helping you is a burden. Today, I finally called her out on her attitude, and instead of apologizing, she argued with me. No remorse. No professionalism. Just pure defensiveness. Did she know I recorded the ENTIRE interaction for her manager? Probably not lol--but I'm tired of her gaslighting. This won't be a "he said, she said." She even claimed I had an issue with her--as if I'm the problem. I've read the reviews. I'm not the only one complaining about her. It's clear she hates her job, and frankly, she shouldn't have it. I don't have a problem with the other front desk staff--it's always her. To top it off, when I was in the middle of putting my dog down, she barged in to ask if I wanted to buy prescription food for my cat. Seriously? When we didn't buy it that moment, we overheard her talking to the staff in the back and saying, "I'm never preordering food for them again." That's not just rude--it's disgusting. She clearly doesn't even know how to use the software, constantly messes up client information, and I always hear her arguing with other customers. She even lied, saying my mother wanted her phone number back on my account--after I asked them to call me not her. This is funny, considering my mom switched vets BECAUSE of Paula. What's worst of all? She never once tried to apologize or fix it. I walked out saying, "Thanks for the apology"--because that's the only one I was going to get. You'd think with all the complaints geared towards her, management would take some sort of action. But hopefully now that I actually have the conversation, they can see for themselves what it's like to be a customer here. It's not pleasant. I'm not sharing this out of spite--I just want management to understand what it's like to deal with her from a client's perspective.

He genuinely…read morelikes all of the animals that he treats and spends any amount of time with you that you need as the concerned "parent". My best example that shows why you should go to his office instead of a big or little box vet occurred this past weekend. After picking up my dog from the groomer I noticed something that was concerning and decided to drive by his office on the way home. Knowing that I would be lucky to find the office open much less being able to get time with him, I hoped that I might be able to set up an appointment. I actually found him in the parking lot locking up for the day. He closed up the office and then looked at my dog in the parking lot. Then we talked in the parking lot for twenty minutes about my sports car and his soccer injury. The chat is not necessary but it gives you time (as it did for me that day) to think about any other questions that you might have. If you are looking for a puppy then you should give him a call for a recommendation for a breeder. He seems to be aware of or provides services for a lot of breeders (especially golden retrievers).

We had an emergency last week in the morning and, left a message explaining we were on our way there. When Jackie called back, she was surprised that we were already in their parking lot. She proceeded to explain that they do not see emergencies and told us she would email us a list of other vets in the area. My husband (who is in the medical field- and, even though his office is not 'set up' for emergencies- he will always see a patient in pain), asked if someone could take just 3-5 minutes & triage her in the back of our car, because she was in so much pain-she's a big Newfie and wasn't able to walk) Jackie said no. Needless to say, we were extremely disappointed. So we went to Pressly Animal Hospital and were accepted immediately. As soon as we walked through the door, Dr. Pressly took her into the back, did x rays and showed them to us, explained everything and we decided on a plan of action. They also followed up throughout the day and the next morning. So, please be aware. As much as we really like Dr. Miller, Miller Animal Hospital will NOT see your animal in an emergency. They will NOT be there when you really need them.....even if you've been faithfully singing their praises and giving them your business for 13 years. Our new vet is Dr. Pressly and we'll not be going back to Miller Animal Hospital.

When I went to pick him up Dr. Humphrey told me she was able to shave and clean the abscess without sedation and that in turn saved us that additional cost. When we arrived, Stella was very weak and near the end. As soon as we pulled into the parking lot, staff members immediately came outside to help carry her in so she wouldn't suffer any more than she already was. That simple act of kindness meant more to us than they probably realize. They were also able to keep her comfortable long enough for our family to say our goodbyes, which we will always be grateful for. During the entire process, everyone we encountered--from the receptionists to the technicians to the doctors--was compassionate, patient, and incredibly caring. I'm not someone who typically writes reviews, but when you are faced with something this heartbreaking, the way people treat you truly matters. The entire team treated Stella and our family with dignity and compassion, and they made us feel like Stella mattered just as much to them as she did to us. Thank you for going above and beyond during one of the most difficult moments a pet family can experience. We will always appreciate the kindness you showed to Stella and to us.
