The BEST unplanned visit everrrrr. My sisters and I decided to google brunch and this place showed up. We didn't expect to absolutely fall in love with this location BUT WE DID. As soon as we walked in the vibe was cool and the young woman who served us sat us down. I throughly enjoyed everything: I'm vegan and most times a place with vegan options that serves non vegan food is not that good. But this place is definitely the exception. I was in the area visiting and wanted breakfast. I found this place and ordered pick up. When I arrived and started walking towards the entrance I passed a patio with several tables with occupied with customers enjoying food and wine. I was like wow I can see chilling here. The decor inside the place for eclectic and very tasteful. Then I grabbed my food. I ordered the wheat pancakes with cinnamon and apples. And the scramble tofu. Cake here this past Saturday and just missed out on the breakfast hour. Had a burger instead, and it was delicious! Shared a cornbread small plate and the goat cheese spread was like BUTTER! So many tasty options. Today came back to try their breakfast, and I'm so glad I did! Their pepper bacon sausage omelette is a must try! Came here to meet with a group. It was a decent working environment and a cute cafe. I will say that Friday is not the day to go if you want to get work done because they have a DJ and it's very loud. I ordered the calamari which I didn't really love. The calamari itself was poorly seasoned and came with a spicy sauce. However I didn't like the sauce but ate it anyway because the calamari wasn't great alone. Extremely disappointed in the quality of service. I used to come to Blueprint all the time before it shot up in popularity... and now my experience has changed. Came in today for 3 smoothies, the place was decently filled. The lady with the glasses came up and told us to wait so she could our order. We waited 5 minutes before we were even able to get our order in. When we finally do, she takes 1 more order and proceeds to make previous orders AND the people behind us' order. We're STILL here and I'm writing this review 30 minutes later, and she is taking another order but still not starting ours. Kind of ridiculous to wait this long, but also unprofessional of her to keep us waiting and still taking other orders and making them first because they are easier. blueprint please hire more help now, and please train your employees in line queue policies. I was always a vegetarian button down as of January I became a vegan for health reasons and it has been an amazing challenging journey. but I have to say when I visit this particular Cafe as a visit mini that challenge that I face everyday is worth it because the food here is super amazing to stop the way there she is amazing and I believe she is one of the owner daughter of what an outstanding engagement and communication skills she has. This spot was amazing. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because at night the location looked a little sketchy and I didn't know if it was open. Once I got in, it was super cute and decorated for Halloween. I ended up getting the vegan burger and I legit thought it was real meat that's how good it was. What a find! We had vegans and non vegans in our group and everyone left happy. We had the vegan burger, veggie omelette, and the cheesesteak. Everything was SO good. The interior is freaking cool and just a good vibe overall. I recommend the vegan maple berry donut. We tried some of the other vegan baked goods and that donut was by far the best. Stopped in last night for dinner... was really excited to try the vegan options... cool spot... interesting location. Ordered the 'Build your own Bowl' with coconut rice, Indian/chickpea, and asked for the vegan chik'in. Unfortunately they were out so I got the grilled veggies. I also ordered the Vegan Chili. When I went out I looked in my bag and noticed there wasn't any chili in my bag... I went back in and had to wait for the young girl at the front counter to look up from her phone (she was on it the entire time I was waiting for my food) and when she finally looked up, she didn't even ask why I was back,,, she just raised her eyebrows... I mentioned that my chili wasn't in the bag. She grabbed a muffin that was in my bag and looked at me like I was crazy... the two women who were preparing food in the back were talking and never bothered to come over and help either. The food was meh... think Chipotle minus the options... $37 was way overpriced (especially considering they forgot half my food)... I am certainly okay spending a little more on fresh, healthy... food, especially when the ambiance and service are worth it... this place has the potential, they just need to treat their customers like they appreciate their patronage... My friends and I came here for brunch on a Sunday afternoon. We arrived a little after noon and we were met by the hostess at door and after having received an explanation for the two different types of brunch options (with or without unlimited mimosas), we were seated. There were maybe 9 people there before us, so it wasn't packed and there wasn't a line. The food selection was good, especially for vegan and vegetarian options. There was also a fair selection of hot beverages. Overall, it was fair. There a few reasons why I didn't rate them 5 stars: (1) the music, albeit a great playlist, was playing very loudly so it was hard to hear people talking even when they were seated next to you or across from you, if they didn't shout, (2) some of the dishes were warm and the pastries were cold, it would've been nice if they had been hot or warmer, perhaps having covers over the platters would've helped (3) a couple of the dishes could have been seasoned a bit more, but perhaps that's due to the diverse clientele.
