Lifeguard classes here are a scam. They change the date and then don't reimburse you. Do not do your classes here!

She was very kind and graceful as I navigated the app and many schedules of the household over the phone. She thoroughly explained the current promo they have going on right now and ultimately got us all signed up for what we needed. We had our free trial class with Chris last week and I was so pleased with how friendly, soft-spoken, and patient he was with my son. My son didn't even want to go into the water for the first 10 min of the 30 min class, and Chris just continued to ask if he was ready, all the while still holding lesson and staying attentive to the other child who was in the same class. Eventually, my kiddo felt confident enough to join in and by the end of the session he was having an absolute blast. We are looking forward to continuing our swim journey here with this crew!

The instructors are great but the techniques and length of swim time aren't very helpful. I called to cancel my lesson on September 2nd because I didn't feel I was learning anything but they said I was supposed to call by the 25th of August to cancel. Although apparently it's in the policy I am miffed that they won't refund me the money because I was a couple days late even though hadn't used their time yet. Long story short not a good place for adults to learn how to swim and their policies are outdated IMO. @Jen B Six classes and I still don't know how to swim a credit to a place where I haven't learned much seems useless. A suggestion for you to help everyone is to send a reminder email letting the customer know that renewal is coming so they can reply letting you know they won't be renewing. Thank you

Everyone is kind, caring, and you can tell they love what they do. The facility is extremely clean, and the viewing area is the best I've seen. The huge glass window makes you feel like you're right there with your child. What means the most to me is how they work with my son, who is level 3 autistic and loves the water. Their lead instructor, Norma, is incredible. She specializes in working with kids on the spectrum and handles my son with so much patience, calmness, and positivity, even when his behavior can be challenging. It gives me real peace of mind. She is a 10 out of 10. At the same time, my other 4 year old has moved up four levels in just six months and is now swim safe. Big thank you to the managers, Shaan and Raj, who are always accommodating and easy to communicate with. If you are looking for a swim school that truly understands and supports children on the autism spectrum, I highly recommend Goldfish.

A few friends/neighbors also recommended Blue Buoy. Great communication from the start. It has been almost a year now and my girls look forward to their swim lesson every week (and getting their sticker at the end of their lessons). A friend recommended Blue Buoy, and I am SO glad we gave it a try. From the very first trial class with Coach Turner, my daughter felt comfortable and safe. She usually hates putting her head in the water, but with his gentle guidance and encouragement, she did it without hesitation--something I never thought I'd see so soon! We've now been coming for 2 months, and the progress she has made is incredible. Not only has her confidence grown, but her skills in the water have improved so much. The staff is kind, patient, and genuinely cares about the kids. The environment feels warm and supportive, which makes all the difference. Coach turner really knows how to work with the kiddos ! If you're looking for a swim school that builds trust, confidence, and real results, Blue Buoy is the place to go. I'm so thankful we found them!

What impresses me most is his consistency and deep competency. Every single lesson is professional, well-structured, and productive. He is also a master at differentiating his instruction--he meets students exactly where they are, adapting his teaching style seamlessly to fit individual needs and learning paces. Thanks to his professionalism and skill, we've seen incredible progress for both our 6 year old son and 4 year old daughter. I was referred to Swordfish by a client of mine that told me this instructor had his son swimming at 2 years old and offered a guarantee that if your kid isn't swimming in 9 days, you get your money back. Oh.. and the lessons are 5-10 mins each... I knew right away that I found my guy! The first couple of days my little guy was crying and screaming, but after that he learned to relax more and more and trust Coach B... my little guy was legitimately swimming in 3-4 days and I could not believe it. The last day (day 9), I got to swim with my little guy and got instruction from Coach B on how to continue the training, so we'll be prepped just in time for summer. I would give this 10 stars if I could as I have been giving all my friends with kids the same age his number and hope they have the same results. My recommendation to people is to not give up the first couple of days, no matter how hard your kid kicks and screams, and to trust the process. To me, the peace of mine of not worrying about drowning far outweighs the two days (ten minutes total) of initial lessons and I feel like this is probably harder for the parents than the kids. Great job Coach B. Amazing business, and hope we cross paths again!
