Lifeguard classes here are a scam. They change the date and then don't reimburse you. Do not do your classes here!

She was very kind and graceful as I navigated the app and many schedules of the household over the phone. She thoroughly explained the current promo they have going on right now and ultimately got us all signed up for what we needed. We had our free trial class with Chris last week and I was so pleased with how friendly, soft-spoken, and patient he was with my son. My son didn't even want to go into the water for the first 10 min of the 30 min class, and Chris just continued to ask if he was ready, all the while still holding lesson and staying attentive to the other child who was in the same class. Eventually, my kiddo felt confident enough to join in and by the end of the session he was having an absolute blast. We are looking forward to continuing our swim journey here with this crew!

The instructors are great but the techniques and length of swim time aren't very helpful. I called to cancel my lesson on September 2nd because I didn't feel I was learning anything but they said I was supposed to call by the 25th of August to cancel. Although apparently it's in the policy I am miffed that they won't refund me the money because I was a couple days late even though hadn't used their time yet. Long story short not a good place for adults to learn how to swim and their policies are outdated IMO. @Jen B Six classes and I still don't know how to swim a credit to a place where I haven't learned much seems useless. A suggestion for you to help everyone is to send a reminder email letting the customer know that renewal is coming so they can reply letting you know they won't be renewing. Thank you

Everyone is kind, caring, and you can tell they love what they do. The facility is extremely clean, and the viewing area is the best I've seen. The huge glass window makes you feel like you're right there with your child. What means the most to me is how they work with my son, who is level 3 autistic and loves the water. Their lead instructor, Norma, is incredible. She specializes in working with kids on the spectrum and handles my son with so much patience, calmness, and positivity, even when his behavior can be challenging. It gives me real peace of mind. She is a 10 out of 10. At the same time, my other 4 year old has moved up four levels in just six months and is now swim safe. Big thank you to the managers, Shaan and Raj, who are always accommodating and easy to communicate with. If you are looking for a swim school that truly understands and supports children on the autism spectrum, I highly recommend Goldfish.

Every time I call, text, or speak to someone in person, they are kind, friendly, positive, upbeat, and understanding. My son loves the pool and seeing Bubbles the Goldfish everywhere (and the turtle). The whole facility is very cute and clean. They have plenty of dressing rooms and bathroom stalls, a vanity with hairdryers, cotton swabs, and hair ties, showers on the pool deck with body wash, a fish tank, and a kids table with magnatiles, crayons, and blocks. The class sizes are small (6 students in Mini classes) and well-paced. The water is very warm and the instructors are encouraging and understanding. My son mostly just wants to play with the balls and barbell floatie so we like that toys are incorporated. They have a lot of membership options (month to month, seasonal packages, etc) and were very easy to reschedule with when needed. Parking can be limited in the evenings because of the surrounding businesses so plan accordingly. Happy swimming!

A friend recommended Blue Buoy, and I am SO glad we gave it a try. From the very first trial class with Coach Turner, my daughter felt comfortable and safe. She usually hates putting her head in the water, but with his gentle guidance and encouragement, she did it without hesitation--something I never thought I'd see so soon! We've now been coming for 2 months, and the progress she has made is incredible. Not only has her confidence grown, but her skills in the water have improved so much. The staff is kind, patient, and genuinely cares about the kids. The environment feels warm and supportive, which makes all the difference. Coach turner really knows how to work with the kiddos ! I was very hesitant to try again with our 4 year old that didn't have any interest in learning to swim, was timid of the water and refused to go beyond the first step in the pool. Coach B was recommended to us and I am so glad that I took a chance and signed up all 3 of my kids! He's gentle yet firm, builds trust while encouraging kids to push past their comfort zones, and strikes the perfect balance between patience and challenge. My 4-year-old cried on the first day, cried a little less on the second, and was still a bit whiny on the third. But even then, I could tell he trusted Coach B. By day four, he was walking into the pool with a smile, excited to swim! By the end of the 10 days, my once timid little guy was confidently swimming and genuinely excited to be in the water. My 6-year-old already knew the basics but lacked confidence and endurance. Coach B improved his stroke technique, kicking, and taught him to roll onto his back to rest before flipping over to continue swimming. Before the program, he would quickly resort to doggy paddling. By the end, he was confidently swimming the full length of the pool with proper technique. My 9-year-old was already comfortable swimming and floating on her back, so Coach B focused on refining her breathing, stroke mechanics, and overall efficiency. She finished the program noticeably stronger and more confident in the water. All three of our children finished these 10 days as stronger, more capable, and more confident swimmers. They enjoyed learning from Coach B! They respected and trusted him! As parents, that's exactly what we hoped for. My husband and I are already planning to sign them up again next year.

Thanks to his professionalism and skill, we've seen incredible progress for both our 6 year old son and 4 year old daughter. We couldn't be happier and highly recommend him to anyone looking for top-tier swim instruction!

It took us a minute to find the right instructor, but once we met Andrew it was apparent my son was in good hands. Andrew (or "Coach", as my son likes to call him) understands my son's sensory needs and ADHD and uses that knowledge to keep him simultaneously safe, engaged, happy, and progressing as a swimmer. Andrew always has something positive to say about my kiddos progress while also noting areas that he wants to see improve/work on over the next series of lessons. My son likes to know what's on the agenda for each day and when it's a swim day he always whispers a little "yes!" to himself. I know that joy and confidence comes from the fantastic work that Andrew puts into each lesson. My kid looks forward to being at swim because he looks forward to being in the water, and especially, spending 20 minutes with Coach Andrew. Waterworks is a happy, inclusive space, and if you get to schedule your lessons with Andrew your kiddo will be just as happy and safe as mine.
