Their espresso drinks are great 5/5. We also bought the Maverick espresso beans to brew our own at home. The chocolate and almond croissants that I got are not bad. They are generously sized but I wished the chocolate batons in the croissant are bigger, and the almond filling more. Understandably it's not where I expect them to shine as they are not a bakery. Go for croissants at Chocopain, and go for coffee at Bluestone.

Wanted a coffee spot with seating and this place is awesome for that! They've got both indoor & outdoor seating. Only thing I'm not a fan of is the limited menu - I tried the avocado toast & it wasn't my favorite. I got a hot latte too which did taste good! Otherwise, it's in an awesome location, right at exchange place & a good option. I'd probably still recommend Semicolon over this place though. But I'm glad I got to try this establishment! (I also tried downloading the app to get points and it was oddly difficult to use, not sure what that was about)

Wanted to try this coffee shop out since I always pass by it. The staff here are wonderful and extremely friendly. I highly recommend their breakfast sandwiches. I ordered a croissant bacon egg and cheese and it was well done! I didn't really like their cinnamon GF donuts as it tasted more like black licorice but maybe that's because I'm not used to gluten free donuts.

We came here for Sunday breakfast. And we loved it . It's going to be our new hangout place. The manager Daniel was amazing friendly and very inviting. The atmosphere is very calming. The food was great. We had two simple black coffees, bacon egg croissant, and a egg avocado burrito. Had this new Australian cake (sorry don't know the name) it was really nice and light. This is also a great place to work, they have outlets to charge your laptop while enjoying a cup of coffee and bf.

Open back up now from 8am-3pm daily!! Been closed due to pandemic!! Nice ambience inside area to sit with laptop !! Have coffee you can buy and they can grind the beans for you!! Also grab cold pressed juice or sparkling water! Love the decor! I ordered signature Aussie iced latte with almond Milk and a scoop of ice cream on top which is the Aussie touch or something!! They have paper straws and wow this was interesting ice cream first thing in morning as treat with my coffee!! Also have nice seating outside for summer! Beside coffee they do offer acai bowls and avocado toast or crosissant sandwiches! Very helpful with the app too! Download it for first free drink!!

The Newark airport location is amazing! Kane is the sweetest and sold me on the chai latte and it is one of the best I've had! Clean with fast great service! Avocado toast and sunshine burrito were delicious! Pricey but totally worth it! And everything is pricey these days anyway. We will def be back next time we are traveling in Newark!

If you're looking for a neat new hipster coffee shop that enforces the idea that millennials spend far too much money on avocado toast and prosciutto, then look no further. Bluestone Lane is just that, and it's a cute little place located right on the Hudson waterfront at the bottom of Goldman Sachs's Jersey office. America runs on Dunkin, but Goldman may start running on Bluestone. I also feel the need to add that this is the first ever Bluestone Lane I've ever experienced, so unfortunately I can't compare this location to other Bluestone locations. I'll use Starbucks as a control - a classic, ubiquitous, and, dare I say, basic coffee shop. If I had to put it in a nutshell, Bluestone is place with better-than-Starbucks coffee (albeit less variety) and a small brunch/lunch menu to fuel a busy bee on the go. While a limited menu certainly has its shortcomings, I suppose I'm not particularly fond of spending more than a few minutes trudging through an extensive list, especially while in line to get a quick cup of joe on a work break. Now before I go any further, I have a confession to make - I am by no means a big coffee drinker. I have a very low caffeine tolerance and therefore have the arguably psychotic habit of drinking black decaf coffee. Nonetheless, I'd still argue that I have a palette for appreciating a good cup of black coffee. That said, take my review how you will. I tried the plain black coffee, the flat white, and the avocado toast, and here's what I gathered: 1) the coffee is more aromatic than Starbucks's, 2) the flat white has a great cream/espresso balance/ratio, and 3) the avocado toast was good, but not $10 good. Was this place good? Yes. Would I come back? Yeah. Would I recommend it? Sure. Would I frequent this place? Definitely not.

The inside is nice and bright so it offers a great start to your morning. Also, the wifi is pretty good so no issues from a work perspective. I ordered an avocado toast along with a cold brew. This has somewhat been a routine of mine since moving here and I haven't really been disappointed anywhere I've gone. This was no different. Loved the picked onion addition too. Now - the pricing is not necessarily breakfast pricing. Expect to spend around $20 for both a breakfast item and coffee like I did. But if you have the means to do so, then you might as well.

The server asked if it was alive or dead when I found them. I told him it was dead and looked steamed....like it matters... Long story short I asked for refund but they said they have to ask their manager who's not coming back that day since it is holiday and I would need to wait until next day for refund so I end up getting a cheesecake instead. The cheesecake tasted little sour so initially I thought it went bad. Also it tasted like it's been sitting in the fridge for a long time. You know when you taste fridge smell from the food. I lost sanitation of their food and will not recommend it to anyone

We finally had the opportunity to do so on a quiet Easter Sunday. First, the interior looks pretty amazing. A lot of history behind all the architecture and they did a good job preserving it. Because it was raining and chilly, we couldn't see the rooftop, but I can see the appeal. To start, we got an assortment of small muffins for the table. That was a nice touch. They were good too. For brunch, we each ordered omelettes. I got the Jalapeño & Cheddar while my fiancée got the mushroom and spinach omelette. We ended up complementing the items quite well. I did end up enjoying her omelette well. The vegetables were definitely fresh and cooked quite well. My omelette was nice and cheesy, how I like it. The jalapeños didn't have a crazy kick, but enough to satisfy. The potatoes were good too. Skinner's isn't going to win World's Best anything, but it's a solid neighborhood spot with big portions for decent prices. The Buttermilk Pancakes were large, fluffy and satisfying. My Croque Monsieur was perfectly crispy and loaded with delicious melted bechamel, gruyere and prosciutto. One of the tastiest Croque Monsieurs I've had, including the ones I enjoyed living in France, and certainly bigger than its Manhattan counterparts. The Crispy Shrimp & Bacon Sandwich was also a pleasant taste bomb of basil, dill & cucumber remoulade, tomatoes, and, of course, bacon. Bottom line: Skinner's offers a brunch that's tastier and more affordable than many NYC joints. When you're hungover on a Sat morning, this might be the best place for you.
