    Latte for the win!!
    A H.

Greatly cute spot perfectly located in Jersey City, where it can get busy but this place gives you peace. Very modern/rustic place, perfect for coffee lovers and those who like some quite space to enjoy and do some work. I actually got an iced latte with a side of banana bread, which did not last long, it was too delicious. The coffee was great, the barista was so nice and made my coffee exactly how I like it, I added a bit butterscotch flavor and told her I did not want it to be sweet, the very less, the better and she delivered! This made me too happy! I want to go back again when I'm back in the area, so happy I found it!

This is a cute little coffee shop that's in the center of Jersey city! I love the exposed brick that's inside the expresso bar, adds to the rustic feel of the place. It's definitely one of those places that you could grab a seat by the window and study or ready a book all day. The pasteries were tempting, the chocolate croissant especially seemed delicious. I ended up getting the pumpkin spice latte - honestly better than most of the ones I've had. The pumpkin flavor was not too overwhelming and it was the perfect level of sweetness.

I got myself a chai and this place is literally called coffee espresso bar! I wasn't really impressed by the chai if I'm being honest! But I went inside and I smelled the coffee and I think that's definitely the way to go! Although I'm gonna give the chai a 2- I want to come back and try the coffee and lattes because I think they will be awesome Will report back soon! Definitely giving this place another shot very soon!

Dames is a beautiful and quiet venue for coffee and tea. The backyard is open to relax a d read a book and enjoy your coffee, tea and espresso or catch up on conversation/s. It's a tidy and quaint venue with excellent service and caffeine options. Try their banana bread slice if you can, it's delicious too.

Great tasting iced chai latte, with outdoor seating. Nice and friendly staff behind the counter. It was about $5 and change for a small drink.

Such a cute & small coffee shop! Stopped by and got the butterscotch latte & an almond chocolate croissant. The latte was good, not too sweet at all (which I kind of wanted?) but was still solid. And the croissant was really really good too! The indoors is cute and they've also got an outdoor area to sit at too. Can't wait to try more of their stuff for sure!

Upon walking you see a cute quaint wooden faced sign. Beautiful window seat already occupied. Wall community table. Small tables inside. Snacks available. Juices too! And extra outside courtyard seating with a a lovely rose bush. Prices reasonable, I got the small hot chai with oat milk. It was made so0o quick! It's not too sweet, the spices are a bit too strong for me but I still enjoyed it. No gluten free options here I see. But that's okay. Very small to sit in front of the cafe but I got to enjoy the whole backyard to myself & journal. What a great place here in JC!

A good cup of cappuccino always gets four stars from me. Nice interior and they have a patio inside! Just ask to make sure it's open and the staff will show you the way. Only downside is that sitting area inside is closed so not a place to bring laptop and work.

Delightful place, eclectic Jersey City coffee shop with some delightful flavors of tea and coffee. Seating is for less than 10 people. Most people come in for a take out. Since it was Christmas Eve there was only one friendly staffer. I only wish she had not poured cram into my coffee making it milky. I could have done that myself. Since I don't live in the neighborhood, I will probably come here again.

Cute little cafe with good ambiance. Came here for afternoon cafe and ordered Chai Latte which is pretty decent. Only had to wait a bit to order yet still will come back again.

We walked in and the shop was cozy and clean. We were greeted by the staff. They were very friendly and helped us promptly. The cookie I was most excited for was the corn cookie and the chocolate chip also looked really good. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed by the black & white cookie because for some reason I thought it was a chocolate cookie with white chocolate chips, but it was actually just a regular cookie with black and white chips lol. The cookies themselves were really solid though. Nice light crisp around the edges with a chewy center without being overly gooey or underbaked. Definitely on the thicker side too, which I liked. Next time I'll have to try one of their espresso drinks!

The Jeju Green Tangerine Matcha honestly just tastes like a tangerine selter drink but in the best way, because I don't typically enjoy seltzer or carbonated beverages. I really enjoy the flavor and the carbonation isn't too strong, probably because I brought it home to drink. I don't really taste the matcha but I would definitely still order this again. 2. Matcha Einspanner. This is my first time having an Einspanner so I have no idea what I was expecting but this is DELICIOUS. It's so silky and smooth and the TASTE is just right up my alley. The matcha is light but you can still taste it. Absolutely, would drink this all the time if I could. 3. Purple Sweet Potato Latte. This. This. Omg, why haven't I tried this sooner?! The first sip and initial taste, I almost tasted nothing, just milk. And then all of a sudden, there's an explosion of flavor in your mouth. As a sweet potato lover, I was in heaven. I have absolutely no words for this drink, just try it. 100/10 recommend. This is probably my favorite one out of the 3 that I bought. I went around ... 2:45PM on a Friday and most of the seats were taken, if I remember correctly. There were a decent amount of seats and the space was decent. I liked the minimal aesthetic they had for the design of the interior. Not to forget, the staff at the register was absolutely wonderful, she answered all my questions, she's so sweet. I think I'm disappointed that I haven't tried this place sooner. Y'all get out of your comfort zone and try the Purple Sweet Potato Latte !! Or if not, just try this place out. I will definitely be recommending the Purple Sweet Potato Latte to all my family and friends.

While it was a fun and unique drink, I probably should have opted for something else. The topping was literally like actual tiramisu rather than just tiramisu flavoring, and it felt like there was more ice and tiramisu than latte. Personally, I would have preferred more of the tiramisu flavor without the full tiramisu texture mixed into the drink. That said, it was an interesting concept and I'm glad I tried it. I'd definitely be open to coming back and trying another latte on a future visit.

It's pricey, but welcome to FiDi. My one complaint is they try to upsell you. It happened to be 787 Coffee which I have visited plenty of times on the island and enjoy. With excitement and in Spanish I tell the cashier that I was happy to come across this place as I have tried them out in PR. How is it that this "jibara" apparently from Maricao, spoke to me in broken English while I am talking to her in our native language, total fail. Anyhow, I ordered the coquito hot latte with an extra shot of rum and oat milk, fine, I paid $11 for a very small coffee. Now what I can't believe is that the quesito pastry was $8. I really wanted it but it was not until I paid that I then noticed the price. I sat to eat it while I waited for my name to be called as mentioned by the cashier. I walked around looking at everything, the music very loud and hard for people sitting to have conversations, the place is very colorful and with many PR sayings, however the place also feels very Americanized with the music and layout. I still awaited my name to be called minutes later, but nothing. I approached the cashier, who was just standing there, to ask about my coffee and she wasn't able to tell me so she asked the barista steps away from her. He pointed to a cofre sitting on their counter, it had my name, and when I pointed out that I was waiting for my name to be called, she shrugged her shoulders and smiled like she didn't care. The coffee by now was not all that hot, I never tasted any rum or coquito flavor and felt I wasted my time at this place. What's more upsetting is that I left a nice tip for a service that was not provided. They couldn't even bring the coffee ti my table once they realized it was sitting there and they forgot to call my name. You can find better service elsewhere.
