The food here was so delicious! I really enjoyed their take on the chicken and waffles. The vibe here was so sleek, clean and earthy - which was great for my friend's birthday brunch. I was slightly disappointed with the service. If not mistaken, I believe our waiter wasn't too enthusiastic and he left without letting us know and we were assigned another waiter. It's a slight knit pick, but otherwise - I LOVED IT HERE ALSO IM OBSESSED WITH THE TRUFFLE MAC

I absolutely love coming to Mokafe! The decor, the space, the service! All of it is fantastic. Not to mention the coffee and food too! I've enjoyed the food and coffee anytime I've come to visit & always look forward to bringing friends here with me too! Only annoying thing to deal with is parking but honestly can overlook that for everything else they offer! Definitely recommend this spot!

This place was awful. Hostess was awful. Service was slow, sporadic, never back and was awful. Food was ok, wasn't worth the wait and the coffee was awful. Almost fell on my butt leaving because it was slippery and the stairs were awful. Spending $50 on brunch for a on star spot was awful. Honestly, Mokafe the entire experience was awful.

5/5 Everything was delicious and well seasoned. Service was excellent and the restaurant had great ambience. My daughter is a very picky eater and she loves the eggs and fries. I saw a couple bad reviews which I have no idea how they got those. Don't listen to the bad reviews and check them out!! One of my favourite brunch experiences. Must order: the burrata salad, Dubai croissant, fries, turkey bacon We got some extra pastries to go to try as well.

5 stars for their knafa croissant, pistachio latte, chai tea latte and their kinder chocolate latte. We came here for to dine in at their cafe area. There's another area by the olive trees if you are here to dine in and have a meal. Their pistachio latte and knafa croissant-- I would drive back here for! My sons like their kinder latte and chai tea latte. The pistachio latte is served with pistachio paste which lends a distinctive nutty depth to the drink. Espresso to milk ratio was just right and the drink was still rich with oatmilk. Their knafa croissant is layered with just the right amount of knafa and covered with milk chocolate. There are other items in the pastry counter that looked really good and I'd come back for those to try. The interior is beautiful-- huge but still inviting with its green and brass aesthetic. Our server was friendly. But what made the visit unpleasant was the *WAIT* for our drinks. 35 minutes from ordering to have them placed at our table! 35 whole minutes-- I know because we did metered parking and I was counting our minutes left on the meter. I asked our server twice and he apologized. There were 3 people behind the counter, and 6 tables being served-- 4 with their food already. I can't fathom why it would take that long to make 3 drinks with at least one dedicated barista. As you can see from the photos it was not a busy time at all and the place was almost empty on a weekday afternoon. I'm hoping this is just first week jitters as they just had their grand opening this past weekend. Hopefully this changes, as it definitely affected our experience. I am not taking a star off from today though, would like to give Mokafe to find their footing as the days pass. Street and metered parking. Clean, pretty, and spacious interior.

This place has been on my radar for the longest and go to finally go. The service was good, nothing extra. The menu is pretty straightforward. The lattes was good I tried the pistachio and as main entry I tried the Dubai chocolate French toast. If you are coming in for the Dubai chocolate anything make sure to share it with your eating partner it's a lot. It can be overwhelming if you don't have a sweet tooth. Overall the ambience was good very photo ready for your insta.

This place was such a gem! I was looking for a place with good ambiance to do some work, grab a coffee & food, and take a few work calls. The service was so great and food and coffee were delicious! Would definitely recommend and come back to this place.

This was the perfect cafe for a Saturday brunch / date in Jersey city. Everything from the lighting to the interior design, the cleanliness, and the music was so fun and inviting! The service was great even amidst being busy. We loved the chicken slider appetizer (10/10!!), it was the star of the show! The iced coffee flight (8/10) would be perfect for coffee lovers (I am truly a matcha girly these days) but wanted to try something new and the pistachio and caramel iced coffees did not disappoint. Everything was fresh and flavorful, pricing was standard for brunch. I will definitely be back!

The food was pretty good and the truffle mac and cheese were to die for! The ambiance is rlly pretty and cozy. The service was meh and we didn't get water for so long. It all felt a little rushed.

The matcha flavor came through nicely, while the green tangerine added a bright, citrusy flavor that made the drink incredibly refreshing. It was lightly sweet with a little fizz, and the dried citrus garnish was a nice touch. The customer service was also great. I had a few questions about the drinks, and they were enthusiastically answered, which I really appreciated. I'm always happy when a coffee shop has interesting options for us non-coffee drinkers, and this one definitely delivered. I'll be back and would absolutely order the Green Tangerine Matcha Ade again.

Ten Thousand is a Korean chain (three spots in Manhattan now, plus outposts in Taipei and LA) and…read moreeveryone comes for the einspanner. I don't drink coffee. So I went in for the Green Tangerine Matcha Ade, which is the drink they should be talking about more. The green tangerine is the Jeju cheonggyul thing, the unripe fruit picked before it sweetens, so you get a sharper, almost yuzu-adjacent bitterness instead of orange juice sweetness. That's the right call against matcha. Grassy tea, tart citrus, light sugar, actual carbonation that hadn't gone flat by the time I got to the bottom. The matcha stayed suspended too, which is harder than it sounds in soda water. Dried citrus wheel on top is a real garnish, not a sad afterthought. Staff were genuinely into it. I asked what grade of matcha they use and how it's built, and got straight answers with zero eye-rolling. Rare at a counter-service spot at 1410 Broadway, where most places are just moving the garment district lunch crowd through. It's eight bucks for a fizzy tea. That's steep, and the room is basically a lobby cafe with very little seating, so this is a grab-and-walk-to-Bryant-Park situation, not a linger. Still, if you're a tea person stuck in a coffee city, this is one of the better cold matcha drinks in Midtown right now. Better balanced than Kijitora's peach fizz, which leans sweet. Order it, skip the seating, don't expect quiet.

It happened to be 787 Coffee which I have visited plenty of times on the island and enjoy. With excitement and in Spanish I tell the cashier that I was happy to come across this place as I have tried them out in PR. How is it that this "jibara" apparently from Maricao, spoke to me in broken English while I am talking to her in our native language, total fail. Anyhow, I ordered the coquito hot latte with an extra shot of rum and oat milk, fine, I paid $11 for a very small coffee. Now what I can't believe is that the quesito pastry was $8. I really wanted it but it was not until I paid that I then noticed the price. I sat to eat it while I waited for my name to be called as mentioned by the cashier. I walked around looking at everything, the music very loud and hard for people sitting to have conversations, the place is very colorful and with many PR sayings, however the place also feels very Americanized with the music and layout. I still awaited my name to be called minutes later, but nothing. I approached the cashier, who was just standing there, to ask about my coffee and she wasn't able to tell me so she asked the barista steps away from her. He pointed to a cofre sitting on their counter, it had my name, and when I pointed out that I was waiting for my name to be called, she shrugged her shoulders and smiled like she didn't care. The coffee by now was not all that hot, I never tasted any rum or coquito flavor and felt I wasted my time at this place. What's more upsetting is that I left a nice tip for a service that was not provided. They couldn't even bring the coffee ti my table once they realized it was sitting there and they forgot to call my name. You can find better service elsewhere.
