Raspberry cheesecake Brownie
Ludovica F.

Had a delicious latte with a raspberry cheesecake brownie in gorgeous Manly Beach. The coffee was amazing and the brownie was even better! Will definitely be coming back. The staff was also fast and polite!

We were visiting manly beach for the day and decided to get some lunch in town. We had other recommendations but they were closing around 2 PM. We opted to try this location, which is right off the beach. There's both inside and outside dining. We opted to have fish and chips as well as the grilled barramundi fish sandwich. We also ordered a Coke and hot, long black coffee. The fish and chips arrived, and they look like small thin pieces of battered fish on top of chips. The grilled fish sandwich was on a soft bun with tartar sauce, pickle, lettuce, and tomato. Overall the meal was OK. The fish and chips seem like a big large baton of crispy batter. The grilled fish sandwich was pretty good and ample and size. Service was pretty good overall although both servers were busy. If you're looking for an ocean view restaurant with pretty much something for everyone, this is probably it. I'm sure there are other restaurants. You could try in the area that are less touristy. For three entrées and two beverages it was $80 AUD

Lobster and Smoked Salmon Pasta

To say the least, I did not enjoy my experience at Blue Water Cafe, Bar & Restaurant. I walked into the restaurant with particularly high spirits, eager to enjoy the local Manly cuisine. With enthusiasm, I ordered the lobster and smoked salmon carbonara. At a table of 28, my food arrived dead last. Due to this extended wait time, where others had finished their meals before mine arrived, I had particularly high expectations. To my dismay, my hopes couldn't have been let down to a greater extent. I was expecting a slab of smoked salmon on top of the pasta, and received likely frozen salmon mixed in with the dish, impressively curating a distinctively fishy taste. Furthermore, the lobster appears to have been a month out of the water, or perhaps, not a lobster at all. I'd recommend against this restaurant. If you come, do not order this dish. This is my first yelp review and I'm fervent in this opinion.

My go-to whenever I'm with my doggo. The nice people at Bluewater always brings out doggy bowls filled with fresh water! Oh, and the food's great here too. Fish and chips come with three humongous cigar shaped fillets and super crispy chips. The batter is on the thicker side but it's still very nice. Garlic prawn pizza has a nice kick to it, with lots of cheese and garlicky prawns on a crisp fluffy crust.

Bluewater cafè, aptly named as it is located on the foreshore of Manly beach. A great spot for a nice sunny day. Perfect if you are looking for some cheap cocktails to quench your thirst after a day at the beach. The restaurant has a relaxed setting for a casual dining experience by the water. Grab a seat and relax to the sound of the breaking waves across the road. All cocktails are $12.90 and they have a daily happy hour from 3pm til 6pm dropping cocktails to $10 and beers and wines for $5. You can also accompany this with $5 chicken wings or fries. There are also non-alcoholic beverages including fresh juice, coffee, milkshakes smoothies and softdrinks. The dining menu is varied with something for everyone. There are a range of tasty starters, including a tasting menu but in this instance, we opted for oysters. The staff accomodated our request for a serving: half natural and the other half kilpatrick. Being by by the ocean we were in the mood for seafood. The crab burger grabbed our attention, stacked with softshell crab crab with slaw, and aioli. For a healthy option the macadamia crusted barramundi is a classic modern Australian dish well suited to such an iconic tourist destination. Served with beetroot, avocado and a mango sauce. The paper it is served on containing on Australiana , including info on ANZAC day, the harbour bridge and there are also some dad jokes for a laugh. The cafe is relaxed, a mix of booths, tables and couches, there's free wifi and a tv playing the rugby league. Also very family friendly.

Seemed like a nice place when roaming in manly. I had a appetizer, a beer, and my wife also had a beer snd everything was good. When I checked the charge on credit card after my vacation ended I saw that they charged me almost 12 dollars more than what the bill was for.

It's literally meters away from the main crossing to and from the beach so naturally, the vibe is laid back and chillaxed. After a day in the waves, the menu offers some pretty rustic yet classy blends of flavors both in its food and drink range. The roar of the beach can be heard, the indoor and outdoor dining areas are bustling and hues of blue from the interiors reflect onto your plate. Such a great day and in paying tribute to the extended summer weather cocktails are essential with the sweet freshness of fruit based potions! MIDORI SPLICE (Midori, Malibu, Pineapple, Coconut Cream) GREAT GATSBY (Grapefruit, Vodka, Gin, Vermouth, Lemon) WATERMELON DAQIRI Difficult to compare and impossible to choose a favorite, though I did like the citrus blends in the Gatsby... The food menu is an amazing end note to your beachside swim or walks down to Shelley Beach and back. It predominantly features seafood. The BRUSCHETTA is topped with avocado spead, smoked salmon and capers. Beautifully presented, easy choice starter that will never let you down. If you can't decide, the BLUE TASTING PLATE is made up of elements that one way or another appear throughout the selection of starters. Soft Shell Crab, Fishcakes, Prawn Skewers and Smoked Salmon with accompanying dipping sauce are very satisfying when looking to indulge without too much heaviness. The SPICED SOFTSHELL CRAB BURGER sees the crustacean crawling out of its bun adding a touch of class to a classic fave. Layered with slaw, aioli is heavenly with each bite. A powerful aroma takes over as the plate of RAVIOLI is brought over. Stuffed with Prawn, Lobster & Crab, brought to life with a subtle butter sauce and colored with rocket/cherry tomato garnishing. Immaculate dish! The absolute showstopper of the meal would be the BARRAMUNDI which we've all had a thousand times. However it's the crafting of a Macadamia Crust that sets it oceans above many standard dishes. Perfect timing and technique has been achieved in ensuring the expectant crunch without overcooking the flesh! Running the fish through a mango sauce, it's really an interesting combination and definitely the signature that I would recommend! Service runs like clockwork, from ordering to delivery to tactfully executed check ups. A destination beach eat that not only delivers in taste and not just carried by location!

Corn and sweet potato fritters with Creme fraiche and lox

A great place for brunch on a sunny day. Our server was friendly and helpful and our food arrived promptly. We shared the soft shell crab burger which was nice and the corn and sweet potato fritters which were phenomenal, one of the best things I've eaten lately.

Food is fine but it is marred by subpar staff. Plenty of better options within a 30m radius

I stood at the terminal entrance and was faced with two options: a) Gloria Jeans or b) unnamed bakery / café across the way. Being the anti-corporation, "mum and pop" supporter that I am, that choice was a no brainer. I ordered a soy cappuccino and a chocolate macaroon. As I touched that coffee to my lips, I was thrilled with my decision. The coffee was remarkably made, had a perfect medium roast and silky smooth milk. The macaroon was a perfect combination of airy crunch followed by chewy finish. It was so delicious I probably could have thrown 4 or 5 of those little loves down the hatch and not looked back. Luckily, I cut it to the last minute and had to run straight past Laurent in order to catch my ferry home. Temporary fatness averted.

This place is great; very reasonably priced food and a great atmosphere inside the Manly wharf. I bought a chicken and avocado roll for $6, and it was amazing! Well presented, tasted good, and even though it was only a chicken roll, it made me feel upper class. You should see the deserts they have available! Little miatures cakes of various designs and flavours, they have had a lot of effort put into their production. I actually saw someone stop as they walked past, look at the cakes, and exclaim in excitement. Its not only a café, but also a bakery, so yu can pick up some pretty nice-looking loaves of bread on your way home. I guess the best part is the vibe. You don't spend heaps, but the open luxury of the café, with the sound of seagulls on the wharf... It's a cool place to stop for coffee. But having said that, it's not a restaurant, so don't plan a big event out of it, it's a simple café, inside a wharf.

Rollers Bakehouse - Perfect display of pastries

Shortly after riding the ferry over to Manly, we stopped by Rollers for pastries and coffee to…read morestart our morning. They close at 2:00P, so we wanted to get there early and choose from the full selection. I loved their display of baked goods which are all lined up neatly into perfect arrays. Racks of the pastries were right behind the counter, including both sweet and savory options. The employee manning the front was so warm and seemed happy to help answer our questions about the day's offerings. She said the most popular item all year round is their almond croissant, filled with an almond frangipane, but her personal favorite at the time was the seasonal Hazelnut Praline Brioche. Given that this is something you don't see at any ordinary bakery, I couldn't resist and you could say she talked me into it! My second choice would have been their handheld apple pie with its perfect lattice and caramelized sugar on top. The HAZELNUT PRALINE BRIOCHE (A$12) was essentially a light airy donut filled with a smooth chocolate hazelnut cream that tasted like a Ferrero Rocher. The amount of filling was generous and oozed out with every bite... I could have eaten spoonfuls of the filling just by itself! A slightly crunchy praline crumb topping gave it a crisp cap. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite of this brioche as it wasn't too rich nor too sweet. I also got a flat white coffee which was good, hot and paired nicely with my brioche. My mom got their seasonal lemon monkey bread which she said was just okay. It didn't have that cinnamon gooeyness that one would normally expect in this type of dessert. Similarly, they also offered a lemon vanilla custard tart which my sister enjoyed. Oddly, it was labeled only as a "vanilla tart" on the display, which is a little misleading, especially for anyone who's not a fan of citrus. This cafe has a nice open air seating area with ample space, a couple seats at the coffee counter and some seats outside. Most of the tables were already occupied by the time we arrived, so we sat outside. With the cafe being located in an alleyway, we were able to savor our pastries in the morning sun without any cars or traffic whizzing by. What a lovely way to begin our day in Manly!

Rollers was designed nicely and has an outdoor/indoor patio is a minute from the beach at Manly. Now on to the food. The pastry I got, hash brown, chorizo and cheddar was a lot heftier and filling than I was expecting. I felt like there more chorizo and cheddar filling than hash brown so was a little depressed i didn't taste that. But all in all the croissant still tasted great. 5/5 stars
