His assistant scheduled my appt with the specialist and the follow up at their office. I'm confident in my choice AND I found them on YELP! Completely understand why they have a 5 star rating.

I had to wait in the chair for a very long time after the cleaning to speak with the doctor (so long I had to make calls to cancel things and make alternate arrangements for my kids). When the dentist finally came in, she started a conversation about the high costs of running a dental practice?!? (We had only met one time before this). She then seemed shocked when she presented her very elaborate plan to me and I responded with "yes, lets please start with the most urgent and space treatment out because cost is a very serious concern and barrier". she then sent her hygienist in to ask me if I wanted veneers!!!!!! months later, a $500 bill arrived..... that did not at all match any of the estimates and promises I had been given for a simple cleaning and xrays. now that I am here looking through other reviews, I see that this is something other patients have experienced as well. truly unfortunate since it is a nice office with a great premise.

I feel they tried to trick me into agreeing to a $937 procedure. I went in for the new patient special - $100 for a cleaning and inspection. They recommended I get a nightguard to prevent my teeth wearing (for $937!). The secretary I spoke with on the way out explained the nightguard, then handed me a piece of paper saying (I'm paraphrasing) "I agree to have this procedure performed at a later date and pay all costs." She told me "please sign at the bottom" agreeing that I EXPLAINED it to you, then let's talk about your next appointment." I said "I'm not comfortable signing because I don't want to go ahead with the procedure." She said "you're just signing agreeing I EXPLAINED it to you, not that you agree to pay and have it done." I said " that's not what the contract says." What if I believed her and signed, chose not to have the procedure done, and then noticed months later a $937 charge on my card? Could I later go back and say "she told me I was just signing agreeing that she EXPLAINED it to me, NOT to pay for the procedure?" They'd say "well, you signed it, so you're screwed." Luckily this didn't happen because I didn't sign, but I had another business scam me like this (Anytime Fitness) and they denied telling me that. The lesson is ALWAYS read what you sign and never trust what they tell you verbally. I can't prove this was the intent but it makes me VERY suspicious. No matter how great their service, this completely ruins it for me.
