Nice clean enclosed dog park in Playa Vista. It has astroturf, hills, a small "river" that runs through it and plenty of happy dogs. There are separate sections for small and large dogs. Street parking can get full during busy times, so you may need to find street parking a block or two away in the townhome neighborhood. Dogs and people are friendly and alert for the most part. Just be very alert and keep an eye on your dog as some dogs may be overly aggressive while their owners aren't paying attention or don't really care if their dog is bullying others. read more

This place has gone down quite a bit. A lot of people seemed to stop picking up after their dogs. I also get that it's an off leash park, but some dogs just get wild running after all the dogs in the park and some of these dogs are clearly uncomfortable being chased down. My dog and I were minding our own business far from everyone and he was actually sitting on the bench with me. A dog came by to sniff him, but my dog didn't care for it and just sat on my lap which I didn't mind. The owner then came to me and told me that by having my dog sit on my lap, I'm teaching him it's ok to be scared. Lady, what?! This place has become such an odd dog park. read more

Let's start with the good. This place has an insane vibe. It's unreal. Everyone is so friendly- sometimes the dogs are a little TO friendly one time when I brought my puppy and the other dogs crowded on my dog and it made me uncomfortable as well as my dog- aside from that the place is so clean and I love bringing a good romance novel and reading a couple chapters while my dog makes new friends. The only bad is it's far away. I wish they would Have made it closer to my apartment- it's kind of far to walk there with my dog. Also be aware of solicitors offering to train your dog- there was one time I went there and someone offered to train my Dog and he did do a good job training but the methods are unorthodox. EDIT: I just removed a star due to a unfortunate event that happened today. My beautiful innocent angel was not only physically but verbally and publicly shamed for being a victim of a dog on dog altercation. You see, he was on the bench while I was reading another novela de romance con my novio AND THEN a vicious Rottweiler who foaming at the mouth came and started a fight with my little sweethear , my dog might have barked first but he was on the bench being a good boy- then the Rottweiler came and BIT his neck and we had to separate the two dogs. Then the owner came and pulled her heathen away. THEN it came back for round 2 and tried to bite my little prince again! Someone from the small dog park told the other owner to "TAKE THAT ANIMAL OUT HERE", and they got into a screaming match. It was triggering and uncomfortable to say the least. Best dog park in LA hands down. This dog park is all turf with a little concrete and a little dirt on the outskirts of the park so your pup stays clean. It is fenced in so all pups can be off leash enjoying their playtime. The rush hours at this park are around 10:00am till 11:30ish and then after work hours of course. (4:00-6:30pm) I try to come during rush hour because my pup loves the company lol. Only thing about this spot is sometimes parking is full. If so just pop into one of the neighborhoods right off the Main Street where the park is and there will be parking. read more

Nice sized park in a nice area. Full on a Saturday afternoon in the heat. People seem to respect the small and big dog distinctions between yards, with some big tough Frenchies in the big dog yard. Lots of room to roam, drinking fountain and bowl for dogs, poop bags, and plenty of shaded seating. Parking on the street but definitely enough neighborhood parking available you can walk a bit. Visited Bluff Creek Dog Park while spending the weekend in LA, which we had brought our pup on the trip with us. The park was very well maintained, situated in a clean and nice neighborhood. There are actually two separate sections of the dog park, one for smaller dogs and another for medium/big dogs. We brought our shiba into the medium/big side. The majority of the park itself is covered in astroturf with areas that are both flat and hilly to give different types of physical environments for the dogs. There is a large seating area against on the the fences that is also covered so you can sit in the share while your dog plays. The park itself is also expansive, which our dog loved running back and forth across. Poop bag station are posted in the corners of the park and there is a water fountain that actually pours over into a moat that runs the length of the park too. Definitely a nice park in a safe neighborhood that I would bring my dog to again if visiting LA and in the area. read more

Been here few times. First time I got cussed out by a male Karen who wasn't paying attention to his dog but made it sure to blame my dog for who knows what. Too many dogs for a small space. Too many stuck up people who think their dog could do no wrong. I tried this place about 8 months ago and tried it today again to give it another chance and let's just say I'm done with this place full of Karens. I will stick with daycare as dogs at dog parks are a coin toss (aggressive, not up to date on shots) and I rather not have my dog in a situation where they are quick to blame my dog because he's half American Bully when he does so well at all the daycares he's enrolled in. Security is a joke. They don't care about anything and just want a paycheck. Pathetic. read more

Bluff Creek dog park saved our sanity during COVID-19! We have two small Yorkshire terriers and would spend our afternoons here during the pandemic. Although extremely beautiful & pristine, it's quite smaller then the photos do it justice. Again, another beautiful park dedicated to the area around it which I love. I wish there were more flat areas instead of these huge mounds located directly in the middle of the entire park. There are two areas which is nice & fairly normal; one for the big pups & one for the smaller ones. People seemed quite friendly too which is so important. I'd visit again only if I was in the area. This is a really clean dog park and I only learned about it when one of my friends suggested to meet at this park. The park opens from 7 AM to dusk from Monday to Friday and 8 AM to dusk on Saturday & Sunday. [Pros] * Two separate sections for big/small dogs. The park defines small dogs as 25 pounds or less. During park maintenance or repairs when only one section is opened, then all dogs are permitted. * Astroturf/cement with a little river so this park is cleaner than other dog parks with dirt. * Farmers' Market just few blocks away on Saturday from 9:30 AM - 2 PM. * Plenty of shaded benches. [Cons] * Awful street parking on the weekend. I had to park at a parking structure (Runway Playa Vista) few blocks away from the park. The rate is $1 for the 1st hour and $1 for each 15 mins after with free 60-minute parking with validation at Whole Foods/CVS OR free 4-hour parking with validation at Cinemark. * Two dogs per person - period. * The area is pretty small comparing with some other dog parks. read more

The best part of this dog park is the water gulley that meanders through the center of the hills surfaced with artificial turf.  My dog loves running water, and many other dogs are fans too. My dog drank from the spout, taking advantage of the many kind dog owners who keep depressing the button to dispense the water for her.  Another dog dragged his body through the water gulley, enjoying his spa treatment. The owners are attentive and responsible.  The only downside is that there are lots of dogs in a relatively small space, so the smell of urine can get pretty strong in some areas. There is only street parking, and there is a security guard that enforces masking for all visitors during the pandemic. read more

It's a fun place but there are a few dog owners who bring aggressive dogs and refuse to control them. My dog was attacked 2x there by a German shepherd and 1x by a Great Pyrenees . Same at Alla Park. I have given up on dog parks and will continue with day care and other options. read more

We came here for the first time on NYE and it was fairly quiet on the small dog side. It got busier as the park got close to closing (at 5pm in the winter). The park was fairly clean. They offer poop bags for free in the park and right outside, yet there was still dog poop on the ground. There's concrete and turf. I wish there was more turf as my dog tends to run her nails down dangerously low on concrete. There was no working water on either side. I didn't bring water for my dog because reviews on here said it was available. My husband had to go to Whole Foods for water. Most owners kept a watchful eye on their dogs. Overall, it seems like it's normally a nice park, but the poop everywhere and lack of water are an issue. We'll give it another chance since it's so highly reviewed and not far from our home. read more

My pup and I love this dog park . The biggest draw for me is that the small and large dogs are separated. The park is mostly turf, so you don't have to worry about your dog getting too dirty. They also have a little water fountain where you can feed your dog fresh water. The dogs owners are mostly very responsive to their pets and don't let their puppies get out of control. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area! The only drawback could be the fact that parking can be a bit of a hassle depending on the time of day. read more

I no longer take my dogs to this dog park as we have found other parks that are much better. I feel there should be a mellow dog area and a active/hyper dog area. I understand some fufu dog owners are scared of have their little fluffy dogs interact while bigger ones but then why take them to a dog park in the first place. The wait times during the middle of the COVID pandemic were ridiculous, I don't think they have them anymore. Some of the dogs there are aggressive and got into a fight before. Give this place 5 stars because #1 it has fake grass and it's very difficult finding a dog park with grass. Dog parks now a days have either dirt or wood chip. The area is clean with the exception of those dog parents who can't f#^*% clean after their dogs. SHAME ON YOU! The place has two areas, one for small dogs located on the left side adjacent to the area on the right side designated for large dogs. Pet peeve: small dogs were running around with large dogs. Why can't people follow simple rules? Do you see us having our large dogs in the small dog area?! NO! there are plenty of balls laying around if you so happened to forget your dogs toy. Please keep an eye out for idiots who open the Gate and let other dogs out! Smh. Glad it's double gated. My doggy loved this place so I'll definitely be coming here more often! Highly recommend. This might be the only dog park in LA that my dog doesn't get dirty at since it's mostly concrete and fake grass. I love how they have a small dog section and i never have seen any of those dog walkers with a whole pack of dogs coming here like some other parks. I feel very safe taking my dog here. We ventured out to a new city to try a new dog park. This one is kinda small. And it definitely gets packed pretty quickly. There is a wait time if there's a lot of people and you have a 30 minute time limit if there's a line. I saw a security guard so this place is protected or as protected as you could get. I noticed a hiking trail so maybe we will go back just for the trail but not the dog park. My man wasn't a fan of just the size. Not enough room for the bigger pups. Everyone wears a mask and does their best to stay 6 feet part. The area itself is nice so I suggest going to the dog park after a nice walk for your cool down and last bit of energy for your dog to get out of their system. Hopefully that sentence made sense All in all my pup had fun! And at the end of the day, that is what mattered most. Plenty of street parking but look at signs of going on a weekday.! read more

A great local place for you and your pooch. There are 2 dog parks on this street so make sure you go to the proper one. The one we usually go to is south of the shopping center with Whole Foods and is about 200 feet east of the signal on Bluff Creek. Bottom like is there is a big dog and small dog park with plenty of benches and shade. It's artificial turf and the crowd can vary. read more
