If you're looking for a fun place to ride ATVs this place is NOT the place you want to go. First off, during the safety meeting I made a lighthearted comment about how my group will "knock the socks off" of our guide and the owner replied with "Thats why I keep my gun on me." TWICE WTF?!?! (Room full of kids by the way) Then he goes on acting like he's Ricky Carmichael, boasting about how he is a better rider than everyone there (grown man btw) and how he's got trophies taller than him. Finally, we begin the ride, nothing about this "adventure" was fun, we went so slow on the quads that I rather just hiked the damn thing. They don't allow any type of riding unless you're up the guides ass going 10mph. All of the guides were not outgoing and all had very serious attitudes which killed our groups vibe. Then during the ride me and the boys decided to get cheeky and we started drifting on turns (nothing crazy) and the big girl starts freaking out and yelling at the top of her lungs. Very unprofessional OVERALL: This place is a scam. It's not an adventure and all the workers act like their shit don't stink. Highly Do not recommend unless you wanna have a bad experience. How they can reflect: You guys have such an amazing opportunity to showcase the beautiful woods of Tennessee, so why would you spend it being stuck up and strict? Life is meant about making memories with people close to you and this is something that people would come back to forever if they just chilled out a little bit and let the customers just ride! And don't tell me that it aint a racetrack, any dirt road in the south is a racetrack! Everyone knows that! Do better! read more

Dakota was a RACIST. He did not want to greet us when we first walked in and even became visibly irritated when we asked questions about the ATV ride.. which we were supposed to do. My husband and 2 sons took the one hour ride so that my 14 year old could ride on his own ATV while my husband was in a UTV with our youngest. When they returned they RAVED about their adventure. We had been considering renting a UTV in Gatlinburg for around the same price. My husband was so happy that we opted for this tour instead. He was very impressed with the guide and the experience of driving the UTV. One mistake we did make was showing up without cash. My husband was so sincerely grateful for the experience with his guide, but had nothing to tip him with. He found him knowledgable with both the terrain and machines and very personable. As a family of four we decided to give ATV's a try this year. It did not disappoint! My mom was very nervous but our tour guide Chris was so friendly and helpful. He kept making sure she was okay and had her in the front right behind him. The trail had a variety of terrain from rocks to mud puddles. The view at the top was breathtaking. This was my 2nd time here and today was even better!!! The tour guide, Jesse, did a fantastic job at giving us our money's worth. And also making some new memories. It was raining today. And I believe that made the tour that much more fun & exciting! You definitely want to make sure that you don't mind getting a little dirty as with the rain, it makes it muddy and wet. I was a bit nervous being out there in the wet element as my first time, the weather was fair. Jesse reassured me that I was doing okay even though I felt like I was driving like Miss Daisy. It was safe to say we arrived to the mountain top as scheduled. I did much better heading back. This is another must while vacationing in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area!!! read more

First time using them. Bought tickets when we got to town for the following Monday with no issues. Directions given to the location were super clear. I was able to find a helmet with no problem. Safety video was breezy and funny. ATVs were in good condition. I chose the 1.5 hr tour to the peak and it was amazing. Our guide was great and took on a variety of terrain even crossing thru a river. The view at the top was breathtaking. The guide offered to snap a few pics. Price was super reasonable. Loved the ride! Would highly recommend for both the experienced riders and newbies. Chandler was our guide and he was very patient with another rider who was not very confident at first. He made sure everyone was having fun. When you go to the office to make the reservation, make sure everyone in your party is with you. This received 1 star only because there are no spots for 0. We went here because of ratings. We have 2 younger children who were going to ride with us. The website stated 16 and older needed their license so I must have mis understood that they needed to be there. (My mistake). When we asked the lady at front desk can we go ahead and pay and we will bring our kids who are 13 years old back so you can see them. She said no they need to sign a waiver! We said they need to sign? They are 13 years old. She said they sign and you sign behind them. Why would we allow our 13 years old to sign a waiver we are the guardian's their signature means nothing. They made us wait outside because they can only handle 1 party at time. Very bad system and customer service. Thank goodness we were able to find a competitor and what a blessing that was. read more

This would be great for someone who has never rode a 4 wheeler. The entire ride was 3-8 mph. Very slow and boring. Our guide was the heavy set volunteer firefighter. He never introduced himself to the group so we didn't get a name. He would stop abruptly without using the hand signals causing everyone else to get jammed up because he was driving so slow. Our entire group said they were experienced so we thought we'd get to do something exciting. If you grew up doing anything remotely with speed or 4-wheelers, then Save your money 200$ for 2 people to be bored out their minds for an hour and a half. Total rip-off. read more

Exciting...different....safe,but adrenaline boost. Very professional staff and equipment. From walking into the booking office to driving away after the trip everything was fun. We took the 1 1/2 hour ride. Spent the entire time on the trail.... no waste of actual driving time for all the instructions and safety information. Ryan was our guide and he was very comfortable in the variety of trails. Excellent timing to miss the other groups and to give us the attention that we paid for. Came here for the ATV rides. Really thought about giving this a 3/3.5 star review for one reason: the reservation process. You HAVE to reserve it at the office which means you need to go early in the morning and stand in line day of or go ahead of time. Might not be too bad if you are vacationing in Pigeon Forge but obnoxious if you are not. We got there at 8:15, they opened at 8, and we got the last trip of the day. I don't understand why you can't make online reservations, even if you have to pay in full, no refunds. But maybe they have reasons I am not aware of. For the actual experience: The ATVs were great. Our safety instructor was efficient, if not engaging and the actual trail guide was much better. They do a small training loop first, and then off you go. We all thought the ride itself was great, the break halfway through gave a nice scenic view. It was a lot of fun to go up and down, including some rocky parts. The downside, and reason for 4 stars, was the speed. We were in two caravans and the one ahead of us was so SLOW. Not because of the guide but just some slow people. It would have been nice to stop, let them get ahead and then enjoy the rest of the ride at higher speeds. Our group did have a UTV with a mechanical brake issue. The guide called in support and it was handled in a timely manner. read more

Cons: You have to stop into the office in Pigeon Forge to make a reservation, and reservation time will likely be later in the day IF even the same day--so go reserve as soon as you get into town! Pros: Best experience, ever! We did the 1.5 hour experienced trail ride, and it was 1.5 hours of beautiful off-roading...lots of different terrains, and good climbs and declines! Our guide Bryson was so awesome at ensuring everyone had a good time! He even offered to take photos for people at the summit (which was one of the most beautiful views I've ever seen)! Bring your own sunglasses or protective eyewear if you don't want to wear the clear safety glasses they provide! I cannot rave about this experience enough. It's going to be our fondest memory of this entire trip, for sure! read more

We had so much fun here. Mike was our tour guide, and he was so good with the inexperienced riders as well as still making it enjoyable for the more experienced ones. We paid $136 after tax for 2 people to ride individually on a 450 ATV. There's a mandatory safety brief in the beginning, but it only takes about 10 minutes. If you've ever been on a "risky" tour like zip lining or something similar, then you're probably fully expecting the safety video anyway. You're able to get comfortable with your ATV at a circular practice course, and then up (and down) the mountain you go. Most of the course is wide enough that you can choose to take a less dirty and more conservative route (like I did) or a more muddy and "fun" route (like my adrenaline husband). A little over halfway through, you stop at a nice scenic lookout where you can take photos and just take in the beautiful Mountain View. Overall, we had a wonderful time. Tips: 1. We did the family 1 hour tour. The 1.5 hour tour is supposedly more rugged. If you're an adrenaline junky, that might be a better option for you. 2. Don't be like us and forget cash. Bring cash to tip your tour guides because they really are fantastic. 3. If you'd rather wear your own sunglasses vs. their eye protection goggles, then make sure you bring your sunglasses with you. read more

From reservations through the entire trip. What an adventure!!! In a good way. You do have to stand in line for reservations, so don't plan to just walk up and get a spot in the same hour. They are practicing social distancing, with masks on, good practice!! So it is one family/group at a time for reservations. It was nice to see people practicing patience while we were in line. The person at the registration counter couldn't have been more accommodating. While we were getting rung up she told us about some great local places to get some amazing food where the locals go. On the day of your adventure it is a half hour drive from where you signed up to the actual ATV site. You go in, get your helmet (self fit for snug size) and Protective Eyewear. This was the only hiccup. They were out today, but, the helmets had quite a bit of overhang to them so we felt ok. But, you may want to take your own just in case. You get a video tutorial and a verbal tutorial. Everyone gets on their ATVs and follow the leader you are on your way. Here is where the FUN begins. In our case the real adventure. Our son has never been on an atv and took a tumble into a creek. I flew off my atv to get my son out of the creek and our guide Justin and another guide Ryan took care of the atv. They never blinked, never said a cross word. Acted like no biggie. Made our son feel like a champ. Our guy honestly wanted to leave, but instead Justin had him going in a side-by-side in no time and he totally finished the course and loved it! At the end of the journey Ryan talked about how those things happen all the time. Our son is no longer embarrassed about it and in fact feels like he could actually try to do an ATV at at later time. REAL KUDOS go out to Justin and Ryan today!!!! read more

You have to buy your tickets at the office on the main road and then drive 30 min to the mountain to ride but it's worth it! We went in the middle of the day to buy tickets and stood in line for almost an hour which was kinda annoying but our tour guide Chandler more than made up for it!! We did the 1.5hr ride and had the best time. Took us up some rocky trails, took us off the trail for a little extra mud and fun, and took us thru some huge mud/water holes to get nice and dirty. The look out spot at the top was a great view of the mountains and Chandler even told us what we were looking out at and took pictures for us. Poor Attitude Ruined the Experience Our group of 9 family members signed up for the Family Introductory Ride on 22 June since none of us had any previous ATV riding experience. We were all super excited for the experience, especially since it had been raining off and on for the couple of days leading up to our ride and we knew we would get muddy. I can't remember our guide's name, but she was the only female guide there and had a poor attitude from the start. When she came into the waiting area to start the safety brief video and saw us all in our tie-dyed shirts, she rolled her eyes and stepped out for a minute. After the video, we moved to the ATVs so she could demonstrate the controls and got flustered because the two she tried to demonstrate with wouldn't stay on. It went downhill from there. She got visibly upset when one member of our group vocalized they weren't comfortable driving the ATV and angry again when another member of our group got stuck in a rut and she needed to assist. When we stopped at the scenic lookout area and we mentioned we were all new to this, she snidely replied, "I can tell." She then went on a tangent about how she's not having a good day and she's annoyed and angry, "But don't worry, it's not even y'all." Throughout the ride she rarely if ever used hand signals and left it to us to figure out when we should slow down. Her snide remarks coupled with her crap attitude and frequent side-eye ultimately made this a less enjoyable experience. If this guide and her behavior is any indication of how they run tours, I definitely recommend using another company for this type of experience. We certainly will never give them our business again. read more

I give this 3 stars because for the price I was expecting more of a view. And more bumps and bumps along the way. I've been on several adventures ATV riding and this was my least favorite. In the mountains I had very high expectations but the one scenic area where you stop isn't much of a view of anything. We did the 60 min ride which was about 85-95 I believe and there there's another a bit more expensive but they go and see the same view with more bumps and humps. Maybe my experience was like this because I did the cheaper route but I was just disappointed. Did the 1 1/2 ATV tour and had a positive experience. We bought our tickets in-person at the office (which was at a different location) and had 2 hours to spare before our tour, which we spent exploring The Apple Barn, another 10/10. Our guide was a young man from upstate NY and was just wonderful. He was knowledgeable about the area and I felt comfortable asking him any questions I had. He took us up the mountain on a bumpy and muddy trial--it was fun! We didn't see any wildlife, but the 2 scenic views were worth it. The ladies at the reception desk where you buy tickets were welcoming and accommodating. The tour guide, Dustin, was informative and nice. My girls, 14, 16 and 17 all had a great time. This was such a great experience, not only are you riding four wheelers I. The mountains but you are sitting through a course to make sure you feel safe and confident. They allow you to pick your own helmets which I wish someone was there to help with that process to explain how it should fit. Then we sat waiting for the movie to play which took longer they should have refreshments waiting for us or even some music playing just to set the mood, and calm nerves. There where some individuals who where scared but others who where confident. They break you up in groups and that's where it gets cool. Had a great time on the one hour ride. Due to our 14 yr old son's size, he was 5ft 10in, they even upgraded him to a larger four-wheeler (even though we paid for a 300). That was so awesome! Wish that we had known that they could do this because we would have tried to see if he could do the 1 1/2 or 2 hour ride. Lots of muddy fun!
