Not sure I'd bring very inexperienced drivers with the mountain cliffs. They have a shop at the check-in for gear and drinks. The 1pm group didnt end up going on their adventure until about 1h 20 min AFTER their appointment time and you have to be there about a half hour before to check in. The porti-potties are disgusting. You will have no service, so load your phone with games that you can use offline. They do have wifi but its not stable. We left at 2:20 pm instead of 2pm though we had our gear etc before 2pm. It was rainy and muddy. Heres some advice.... if you have never rode a quad, DON'T go. There was a lady that had no idea what she was doing and kept getting stuck, went off the trail and couldn't make it up the hill because she didn't give it enough gas. She she single handedly slowed everyone else down. We had a group of 9 people. There is a guide in the front and back. We got to the top at 3:07 and left at 3:15pm. We ended up getting in at 3:55. Make sure you know there is NO refunds no matter what. Make sure that you wear clothes that can get dirty, it was raining when we went and my daughter was in front of me and some parts are hard to get traction so you gotta move side to side which slings up mud.

They had great attitudes/personalities and really enhanced the experience This place takes safety very seriously and the guides teach you how to be safe and do multiple safety checks throughout the entire experience to make sure everything goes smoothly. All of my fears were calmed by how thorough they were. And they actually have a tiny "demo" ZipLine that they have you do first- to make sure you know what to do and can handle the Mega Zip. THE "Mega Zip" ZIPLINE WAS A BLAST!!! And the views from the ZipLine, the top of the mountain, and on the way up in the bus are gorgeous. 10/10 would come back again! Very safe and very fun!

We came here two years ago when they first opened and had a blast! It was definitely on our let's go again list. We rented the Maverick 2 seater and had Brad and Keith as our guides. They were great and attentive to everyone in the group and kept the thrills coming throughout the whole tour! We stopped halfway through the tour for pictures and Brad and Keith were happy to help and answer any questions. I highly recommend wearing clothes and shoes that aren't important to you because YOU WILL GET MUDDY! One suggestion is to have better sanitation for the helmet liners. They were pretty stinky so I recommend bringing a head sock or scarf.

It is clearly listed that if you flip the atv you will be charged. Just went 2 of us on individual atvs. Our tour guide showed me how to operate the atv and constantly turned around to check on me. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel others should be aware of my experience…read more We reserved a UTV for myself and my two younger sons, while my 13-year-old rode an ATV. Before riding, I completed all required waivers and disclosures. I encourage anyone considering this activity to read every line carefully. What stood out to me afterward is that nowhere in the reservation process or waiver did it state that simply tipping an ATV results in an automatic $150 fee. The only notice we saw was a sign near the vehicle staging area--after we had already paid. I was initially hesitant about allowing my 13-year-old to ride independently because he has limited ATV experience. The trails aren't extreme, but they are technical enough that prior riding experience would be very beneficial. The only instruction we received before heading out covered the farm rules--ride sober, maintain distance between vehicles, and other basic operational rules. There was no instruction or guidance on how to actually operate or navigate the ATV, how to handle uneven terrain, or how to avoid situations that could cause it to tip. Interestingly, I was specifically warned by the manager to keep my UTV centered on the trail or it could tip. That same warning was not given to my son riding the ATV. Unfortunately, he drifted slightly onto the embankment, and the ATV slowly tipped onto its side. Thankfully, he wasn't injured at all--just embarrassed. It was a relatively minor incident, and had he known to lean his body weight into the embankment, it likely could have been avoided. My son was extremely upset because he immediately realized we had likely incurred the $150 flip fee. The tour guide reassured him by patting him on the back and saying, "Don't worry, this thing is fine." He explained to me that the mandatory $150 fee covered the oil change and filter replacement after an ATV tips onto its side and that the fee was not flexible, but thankfully the ATV itself appeared to be fine. Imagine my surprise when I later received not only the $150 flip fee but an additional $108.25 charge for handlebar replacement. The following day, I returned respectfully and simply asked to see a photo of the damage or the damaged handlebars themselves. I wasn't asking for an argument--I just wanted documentation supporting the additional charge. I was initially told I might be able to see the ATV. After the front manager stepped away to speak with the manager in the back, she returned and informed me that they could no longer show me photos or the damage because the ATV had already been sent to the mechanic. The timing of that response was difficult to ignore. My disappointment isn't that accidents happen or that businesses need to recover repair costs. I fully understand that equipment can be damaged and customers should be responsible when appropriate. My disappointment is with the lack of transparency. If an automatic flip fee exists, it should be clearly disclosed before payment. If additional damage charges are assessed, customers should be provided evidence of that damage when requested. The entire experience left me feeling that the process lacked transparency, and undermined my confidence in the fairness of the charges. I hope the business will consider making its policies more visible upfront and documenting any additional damage charges so future customers don't leave feeling the same way I did.

About an hour into the ride my son heard a pop so we pull over to a siding in the mountains to see if we could check where the noise came from. After about 1/2 hour we discovered the rear drivers axel nut sheared off anf the tire was coming off. After trying to contact Smokey Rental which took some time they told my son they will bring a different UTV. It too an hour for them to get to us. We had plans after this ride so my son was offered a full refund and we were offer nothing. We asked for a 1/2 refund and was refused because the owner said we should have left my son, daughter-in-law and 2 grandkids stranded on the mountain and continued our ride (not going to happen). Then we were offered an extra hour even after we explained we had other plans. So after being stranded for 1 and 1/2 hours on a 3 hour ride the non-caring owner trough in our face the contract for no early returns when we actually got back on time. The early return was because of the extra hour offered at the breakdown site. Not a good business practice, we will never recommend Smokey Mountain Rental with the experience and the way we were treated by the owner.

TWICE WTF?!?! (Room full of kids by the way) Then he goes on acting like he's Ricky Carmichael, boasting about how he is a better rider than everyone there (grown man btw) and how he's got trophies taller than him. Finally, we begin the ride, nothing about this "adventure" was fun, we went so slow on the quads that I rather just hiked the damn thing. They don't allow any type of riding unless you're up the guides ass going 10mph. All of the guides were not outgoing and all had very serious attitudes which killed our groups vibe. Then during the ride me and the boys decided to get cheeky and we started drifting on turns (nothing crazy) and the big girl starts freaking out and yelling at the top of her lungs. Very unprofessional OVERALL: This place is a scam. It's not an adventure and all the workers act like their shit don't stink. Highly Do not recommend unless you wanna have a bad experience. How they can reflect: You guys have such an amazing opportunity to showcase the beautiful woods of Tennessee, so why would you spend it being stuck up and strict? Life is meant about making memories with people close to you and this is something that people would come back to forever if they just chilled out a little bit and let the customers just ride! And don't tell me that it aint a racetrack, any dirt road in the south is a racetrack! Everyone knows that! Do better!
